Cheaply-priced and does not require much customizations
It is a scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. At the moment, the tool functions quite well for our needs. Around five people use the tool. In the future, my company might plan to increase the use of the solution. Currently, all the sales people in our company use the product.

Helps you avoid delays because you can visualize your deadlines and track your progress
I like the automation you can do with monday.com. You can automate priorities, status changes, notifications, etc. You may need another solution to create this automation in other tools, but monday.com includes everything. The Gantt view for project planning is also pretty good. The interface is another area where monday.com shines. It is colorful and visually appealing. You can paint with colors, and there are multiple views. If you are the type of person who wants all of your information displayed linearly, you can set it up in lines. It's the best tool for evaluating timelines and projects. The most challenging part is deciding how you want to display your information, but as soon as you know what you're doing, it's effortless to view where you are in the project and who's involved. You can set up a simple project in under five minutes, but a super complex one might take a few days. I think it's straightforward if you know how you want to organize your information. monday.com is accessible to non-technical users but takes a lot of time. They have many tutorials, and you can easily use monday.com if you can take the time to go through them and learn. When you initially create a project, it's only a board with lines on which you enter the tasks. You have some columns with the task owner, status, deadlines, etc. It is not that easy to understand all the features and how you can use them for your case, which is why people contact me. When you implement the tool, you decide which layout to use and what information you want to disclose. I've seen clients who have been using this for three years, and they still only know how to do things one way because they haven't taken the time to understand all the features. It's crucial to spend time at the start and learn the tool. I don't think the learning curve is that huge.

"I use the templates function to create standard templates for my project plans that I can easily duplicate and disperse organizationally."
"I like the ability to customize so that we can create a system that works for us, and easily iterate it as things change."

"Automation is by far the most valuable tool ever."
"It has allowed our small team of five to deliver more projects on time and with quality as well as instill trust with clients that their projects do not fall through the cracks."
"Automation is definitely my favorite feature as it makes our lives so much easier."
"The possibility of having multiple boards is indeed a great feature that allows us to see the many projects (and their progress) at a glance."

Cons

"The reporting for this solution across all their products could be improved. Currently, we have clients who export their data from Freshservices to third party solutions such Power BI to create more comprehensive reports."
"The licensing costs should be based on the amount of data and number of clients that one can insert into the application."
"The solution needs to improve the user experience and leads capture."
"It lacks customizability for complex and larger use cases."
"We can use only one domain in the basic package."
"We have a problem with the time to delivery for our customers, although this is not specific to this solution. Time to delivery can be 90 days."
"The price of this solution could be improved as well as the reporting functionality."
"The site could load a bit faster."
"Monday.com can be improved by becoming even more simplistic in settings/layout."
"It would be helpful to have a direct comparison table/spreadsheet for Monday.com versus Asana and the many other project management software platforms."
"They need to add more data values and fields, such as currency and functional fields, as well as more trigger functionality for automation and time-based management."
"The permission settings require workarounds for some use cases."
"This isn't a platform where you scrimp on the training and send one person to bring back knowledge. Monday is different things to different people, and context matters."
"The solution shouldn't let the system directly pull out Outlook (the Windows default mail system) whenever we click on an email address."
"It has more limitations than we expected."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The basic price is affordable. The add ons are expensive."
"If one is a very low price and ten is expensive, I rate the product price as a three."
"Freshsales is an economical product."
"The price for this solution is good in general, but in Brazil we do pay additional taxes."
"The tool is not that expensive."
"We tell others it's about $2200 for a ten-person plan and it can be adjusted; it's easy to scale."
"The enterprise plan looks expensive because we don't understand the value as monday.com users. The pro level and other packages seem reasonable."
"There are features that they're putting in the Enterprise plan that you have to pay for the Enterprise plan to use those features. The Enterprise plan is probably double or triple the Pro plan price, or it may be two and a half times. From a business standpoint, I don't like the fact that I have to pay two and a half times more to use a particular feature."
"I am using its free version."
"I rate the tool's pricing a six out of ten."
"The pricing of monday.com was a little bit high for us, especially here in South Africa, compared to Basecamp."
"The project manager would be responsible for any licensing fees. As an end-user, we just follow suit."
"It's definitely affordable. I don't think it is necessarily the cheapest, but it's definitely not the most expensive. The price is well worth the value that we get out of it."
