Accurately identifies what will be affected in production after a change or upgrade
The LiveCompare apps that my customers and I have benefitted from the most are analyses and reports on the following: * Upgrades – LiveCompare's Impact Analysis functionality accurately identifies what will be affected in production as the result of a change or an upgrade. It can also pinpoint accurately the scope of testing needed in anticipation of an upgrade. * Migration to SAP Hana – LiveCompare's unique reporting and advanced analytics streamline the entire migration process to SAP Hana, while minimizing costs, risk, and time. * SAP License management optimization. * Custom code analytics – Includes usage monitoring, quality and performance monitoring, Java analysis, and ABAP code quality. * Testing - LiveCompare optimizes the entire testing phase in upgrade projects.

Offers good repository integration, sprint board and easy to set up
There are some features and reports we need that are not there. For example, if I have to find out the capacity of the current sprint by user and compare it with the previous sprint, that visibility isn't there. We can know the capacity and what happened with the whole sprint, but not for an individual person to see where it's falling and how it's tracking. Report and analytics capabilities are important for a product manager. That visibility is important, so we use Jira. Some of the features are there, and I use my own Excels or other data things to compensate for that.

Pros

"LiveCompare's Impact Analysis functionality identifies accurately what will be affected in production as the result of a change or an upgrade. It can also pinpoint accurately the scope of testing needed in anticipation of an upgrade."
"LiveCompare's unique reporting and advanced analytics streamline the entire migration process to SAP Hana, while minimizing costs, risk, and time."
"One of the most valuable features is querying because the jQuery function is very good. Additionally, we can create good designs very easily."
"There are a couple of things that I find valuable about Jira, the first being its architecture. For instance, I like that you can create dashboards easily, which makes it very user-friendly. You don't need much training on that. You can just get right to it and people are able to use almost all of Jira's features with little training."
"Jira offers tools for managing projects using Agile methodology. I think it is good to encourage the development team to use Jira, so that the organization benefits from the proper execution of projects on time. Basically, it helps our organization to execute in a better way."
"The traceability mapping feature is something that became very useful, especially during releases and bug fixes."
"The features that we find most valuable are the Workflow, Scrum workflow, and Dashboards."
"It improved communication, as it was a popular tool, and most people enjoyed using it."
"When combining Jira with Bitbucket, you have the possibility to ensure continuous integration and other functions which is highly appreciated by our software development team."
"For QA, the most interesting for me are boards, backlog, and filters."

Cons

"From my experience with the product, I would suggest adding a feature that would allow a customer who is reviewing the LiveCompare results to be able to connect remotely with one of IntelliCorp's experts (aside from their support) in order to assist the customer to better understand the results."
"The documentation on how to create dashboards and take advantage of other features in the tool are areas where the tool has certain shortcomings."
"Jira can improve by making user management better. It is not easy to have visibility of who has the right to do what. Only the administrator has this visibility but there should be the option for other users too."
"When we use the plugin in Jira so, there are two different systems which we are working on, Jira and the X-ray plugin. The X-ray plugin should be incorporated into Jira because we have to fetch two reports. One report is faxed through Jira, and one can be faxed through X-ray. So there needs to be clarity about which the Jira team should reflect."
"Tracking is important but the built-in features don't meet our needs."
"So at one point in time, they did a huge UI upgrade. At that time, I felt like they had changed something, so it was hard to figure out. Now that we are habituated, it's not an issue now."
"The Classic UI is a little bit messy. UX experience is also a little bit messy and is not according to the expectation of a tech user."
"Jira should allow you to create and develop pipelines easily. In India, we have to purchase them separately or integrate other data tools. All these tools should be in Jira."
"There should be a way to integrate the mobile application or in some way, make it more clear because at first instance, I didn't understand how to use it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"IntelliCorp is flexible in terms of licensing and the pricing structure. They are open to discussing a customer's specific requirements."
"It is very cheap if you forego the local instance and stick to the cloud."
"I don't feel that price is an issue."
"We are on an annual license and could be less expensive."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten. It's paid yearly."
"If I compare Jira's licensing model with that of other products, I think that the other products have a much better licensing model."
"The cost is about $10 per user, per month."
"There is a monthly license required for this solution and it is expensive."
"I am not sure if the client is using a commercial version. I think it is on a per-user basis, and it is around 15 Canadian dollars for a user, but I'm not sure. It also has a free version."
