We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten, with ten being easy to set up.""The tool’s biggest benefit is the access we have to other Azure products.""The product's most valuable feature is scalability.""Connectors are very useful for streamlining data integration tasks.""It's easy to use, and it's stable.""The prebuilt connectors available for SAP are really useful.""The product has efficient connectors.""One special aspect of Azure Logic Apps is its easy integration of various applications, especially when connectors are already available. For instance, there are connectors for database applications and systems like SAP. You can drag and drop the connectors to complete your integration quickly."

"By using snaps instead of functions in code, you can see the building blocks of the integration visually. This helps a lot.""The solution could improve its API management.""An important tool for building prototypes and MVPs than can seamlessly turn into production jobs""SnapLogic is more user-friendly than Boomi in terms of debugging. You can move the mouse to a place, and it will record and show the data easily.""I found SnapLogic valuable and what I found most valuable about it was its ETL feature. I also found its automation feature valuable. It can be used for automating manual activities. It can be used as a middleware for certain transactional data processing and minimal datasets and ETL activities.""The feature I found most valuable in SnapLogic is low-code development. Low-code development has been very useful for simple processes, which is required for business users such as extracting details from a file or getting things reported by calling your web service. Calling your web service also becomes easier with SnapLogic because of the snaps available, so if you have the documentation, you can call an API. You don't have to write all those clients to call an API, so that is another feature I found very easy in SnapLogic. Configuring and managing all the file systems also become very handy with the solution.""The solutions ability to connect "snaps" or components to the graphic user interface is very intuitive, prevents errors, and makes implementations easy.""They are very good at building out new aspects according to customer requirements."

Cons
"The pricing could be improved.""An area of improvement I've encountered is related to the number of connectors available in Logic Apps. While there are many connectors, I found that the "send email" connector may not work as expected, and one has to rely on Office 365 plugins or other alternatives. This could enhance user experience, especially when considering the additional overhead and licensing requirements associated with Office 365. It also needs to improve security features.""The documentation could be better. I think that's the only thing that was causing a normal level of problems. In terms of the documentation, it came from Cosmos DB and an additional product from Microsoft Azure.""The solution should include more connectors.""The only thing is, sometimes, when we need a specific connector, it requires an enterprise or paid version. If it were possible to provide the most commonly used connectors for pulling data from different sources free of cost, that would be really nice.""The visual tool that is used to build integration is quite old.""The stability of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is stable. However, we have had some issues in the past. They do resolve issues that arise from new releases.""Especially when using a function or a parameter, that could be easier as that's not very well-documented, and it's not very clear from the tool itself how to use it."

More Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Cons →

"I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections.""The dashboards regarding scheduled tasks need further improvement.""One area for improvement in SnapLogic is the transparency in the flow of data. It needs to have more transparency. Right now, users only have a preview option at the end of any job flow, so at the end of any Snap Pack, there is a data preview option that lets you review the data and see how it's moving. What would make the solution better is more debugging and more access to change data from the preview panel or more functionality in terms of the preview option.""I am looking for more scheduling options. When it comes to scheduling, there are different tools in the market.""One of the areas for improvement in SnapLogic is that the connectors for some of the applications should be more available in terms of testing in the dev environment. Another area for improvement is that the logging should be standardized, for example, the integration with an ELK stack should be required out-of-the-box, so you can ship the log and have it in the ELK stack. There should be integration with ELK stack for the log shipping.""SnapLogic sits somewhere in the middle. It doesn’t offer enough easy canned integrations for its users like some of the easier to use integration apps.""I don't think the support has better knowledge about technologies and tool support. There were lots of times when we had an issue, and it took me quite a long time to explain the problem. I feel like some of the support staff don't know their product well.""The support is the most important improvement they could make."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
