At the next meeting, they follow up with me, and it's usually resolved pretty fast.
We have a dedicated channel with Wiz and are always in communication with them.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
8.1
SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security is praised for its scalability, ease of deployment, and adaptability to dynamic environments.
Sentiment score
8.0
Qualys VMDR offers high scalability for large networks, efficiently managing resources and adapting to diverse requirements seamlessly.
Sentiment score
8.0
Wiz is praised for its scalable SaaS capabilities, adapting automatically to various demands, with minor cost management challenges.
As soon as we need to add somebody, we just add them to NinjaOne, and then we have a script set up where it automatically deploys and adds them to whichever group we need.
I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for scalability.
Scalability is no longer a concern because Cloud Native Security is a fully cloud-based resource.
Scalability depends on the license and the number of assets being monitored.
Qualys VMDR can handle scalability, although increasing the inventory can raise the licensing costs.
This solution is very scalable; if I add resources to new accounts, they are automatically monitored.
We have deployed Wiz in three organizations on AWS, each with approximately 70 to 80 accounts, totaling more than 120 accounts.
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
8.3
SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security is highly rated for stability, with minor issues in agent communication and occasional lag.

8.0
Qualys VMDR is praised for its stability, with users rating it highly, despite minor bugs and occasional connectivity issues.
Sentiment score
8.1
Wiz is mostly stable, with resolved issues and high user satisfaction, despite minor login and alert discrepancies during implementation.
In my experience, there has been 100 percent uptime.
SentinelOne Singularity Cloud is incredibly reliable.
The cloud console is very resilient.
We've only had downtime from maintenance and updates, and they notify us in advance, so we aren't impacted.
Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight to nine out of ten.
The solution is very stable.

Room For Improvement

Users desire better search, cost efficiency, interface, firewall, stability, integrations, alert speed, support, and documentation for SentinelOne Cloud.
Qualys VMDR needs better reporting, UI, integration, and support to improve usability, manage vulnerabilities, and reduce costs.
Wiz needs enhanced remediation, logging, executive reporting, customizable dashboards, integration, cost efficiency, and improved network visibility.
If I had to ask for anything to make it easier, it would be signed images that are GPG signed and a public repository where we can get the bits from.
If they can merge Kubernetes Security with other modules related to Kubernetes, that would help us to get more modules in the current subscription.
As organizations move to the cloud, a cloud posture management tool that offers complete cloud visibility becomes crucial for maintaining compliance.
It does not automate patching unless the patch management module is purchased separately.
If AI features were integrated, it could enhance the capabilities significantly.
They can tweak their UI since the new version seems a bit jumbled up.
We would like to see preventive controls that can be applied through Wiz to protect against vulnerabilities that we're not going to be able to remediate immediately.
We are trying to figure out how to increase the frequency of the scans, as some universities do not wait a day before they know if something is exposed.
One significant issue is that the searches are case-sensitive, so finding a misconfigured resource can become very challenging.

Setup Cost

SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security provides flexible, cost-effective pricing with modular options, appreciated for value and scalability in cloud-security.
Qualys VMDR offers competitive pricing and comprehensive features, justifying its cost for medium to large enterprises with flexible options.
Wiz's pricing evolves with feature-based tiers, offering value in security but raises concerns about cost and transparency.
With very little negotiation involved, we just let them know what we could pay and they were willing to meet us at slightly above what we paid with Sophos, which was still very fair for what we were looking at.
The price was very, very important to us, and it came down to the price when we were doing our evaluations WatchGuard and SentinelOne.
Covering our 50,000 endpoints would have nearly bankrupted most security programs, even well-funded ones like ours.
I would rate the pricing between seven to eight out of ten.
I have a notion that Qualys might be more expensive than Rapid7.
Qualys offers better pricing and is feature-packed compared to other tools.
We got results with Wiz immediately; we installed it and met our goal during the four-week trial.
We are paying 250k per year.
In some cases, it has a very aggressive price, so very cheap.

Valuable Features

SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security offers ease of use, real-time detection, and integration with tools for efficient threat management.
Qualys VMDR offers comprehensive vulnerability management with strong cloud capabilities, automated detection, and user-friendly dashboards for efficient threat remediation.
Wiz offers risk prioritization, contextual visibility, and agentless scanning to enhance vulnerability management, efficiency, and remediation strategies.
The real-time detection and response capabilities of SentinelOne Singularity Cloud impressive because it is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to determine what is normal and what is abnormal and can lock down any virus it may encounter.
We were shown how ransomware can be immediately stopped in real-time. That was huge.
Our previous product took a lot of man hours to manage. Once we got Singularity Cloud Workload Security, it freed up our time to work on other tasks.
The prioritization of vulnerabilities has improved our remediation efforts by around thirty to thirty-five percent.
Qualys VMDR offers a one-stop solution for monitoring and reporting.
Qualys VMDR provides a real-time response and reporting feature, which is excellent.
We were able to get Wiz installed within a couple of hours for all of our cloud assets and we could see insights into our security posture within a couple of hours of the installation.
Wiz's ability to scan every layer of our cloud environments without agents gives us profound visibility into the vulnerabilities.
The feature leads to minimal false positives and a low volume of alerts, which is highly valuable for our operations.

Tells us about vulnerabilities as well as their impact and helps to focus on real issues
Looking at all the different pieces, it has got everything we need. Some of the pieces we do not even use. For example, we do not have Kubernetes Security. We are not running any K8 clusters, so it is good for us. Overall, we find the solution to be fantastic. There can be additional education components. This may not be truly fair to them because of what the product is going for, but it would be great to see additional education for compliance. It is not a criticism of the tool per se, but anything to help non-development resources understand some of the complexities of the cloud is always appreciated. Any additional educational resources are always helpful for security teams, especially those without a development background.

Good visibility but expensive and needs better support
Support: It's often overseas and often following a script, basically asking us to redo what we opened the case with. Multiple APIs: There seems to be a lack of easy onboarding into Qualys. We had to use manual inputs and some API calls to get items in place. Dashboard: It is very rudimentary with very little customization. The Qualys Scripting Language (QSL) works differently in different Qualys modules, so when you get it working in one area you have to modify the syntax in others. User account management: We often have to give users more rights than needed just to give them what they need. Integration with the various Qualys Modules: You can tell the UI is different based on of the different teams that created them. QSL syntax same in all modules Responsiveness of some of the components: They time out, you get a blank screen, etc. Backend updates between the various modules: You update connectors and information takes a few minutes to show in VMDR or Global Asset View Connectors: Connectors have a throttling issue with AWS which causes them to frequently fail unless you manually run them again.

Useful for security assessment and maintaining correct security posture
The tool keeps improving on a weekly basis. Wiz enters into a lot of partnerships with other technologies. I don't have any idea about the improvements needed in the tool at the moment. For me, Wiz is a very complete product, but it is not the perfect one. Other technologies are better for our customers' specific use cases. A possible way to grow the tool is by introducing new functionality or features. In the future, the tool can introduce an on-prem infrastructure or platform. Not having an on-prem version can be an obstacle for customers who have a large workload in an on-prem environment. The onboarding can be done in five minutes or five to ten minutes. Then, there is the configuration, and it depends on the type of the use case of the customer. There is a customer that has simple use cases for whom the onboarding can be done in four to eight hours a day. If there are some customers with a lot of use cases and a lot of different cloud providers, more time is needed. In general, we don't need more than five days to deploy the tool, even in the case of a very complex architecture and hybrid cloud environment. To deploy the tool, we need to have access to the account of the customer, and Wiz is a stuff that we need to make with the customer. We do the onboarding together. The customer creates the correct authorization in the cloud platform and gives us the key to connect to the platform, and then the platform connector starts and begins to collect information.
