A highly scalable product that helps organizations solve problems easily and produces a high return on investment
Sometimes, the initial setup is hard. We don't find the components to solve the exact problem. We need to get some scripts. It can take time. The time taken for deployment depends on the processes. Complex processes take days. Sometimes, we get processes that can be completed within hours. We usually get complex processes.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The product helps us solve problems easily and immediately."
"A user interface for developers: You can develop something without being a programmer!"
"We are seeing a good ROI as this solution has reduced business costs, minimized setup cost drastically since it is a cloud-based offering, and eliminated the need for a dedicated team to monitor it, allowing us to simply subscribe to the services, get the URL, log in, and be ready to execute bots almost instantly."
"Robots take care of tedious and repetitive tasks, where humans concentrate on critical decision making."
"Now we can process more payments in a short time, and use our human agents to take care of other tasks."
"UiPath reduces manual efforts which result in efficient and time-saving automation and result in the benefit of the organization in terms of ROI."
"Computer Vision helps us read and process handwritten documentation. That will be incredibly important. The unique thing about UiPath is the robustness of the Academy that's built into it."
"Go for it. It is a pretty good tool, which is straightforward and easy to use."
"UiPath Academy courses... are our entire training platform. We brought people who are not IT-savvy, complete laymen who were not in IT at all, into our platform of technology. To do that conversion, the Academy had to be very strong."

Cons

"The solution must provide more AI services."
"The Orchestrator is in drastic need of improvement. Three or four years ago, the Orchestrator UI was very simple and comfortable to use but now, they have added so many features that it is difficult for new users to quickly understand it."
"UiPath updates its software every year. The problem is the support for the old code. For example, right now I'm using the 2021 10.3 version. If I have developed a code three years back and I want to update the packages, it won't work as expected."
"While the UiPath Academy is simple and you get a decent understanding of what's there, you still have to dedicate on an awful lot of time doing the automations to become proficient at them."
"It would be very helpful for us if they provided more business use cases and helped us to learn them."
"There were a couple of times with the on-premises version that there were complications, since it is not on UiPath's cloud. We have had a lot of complications where we are dead in water."
"I really wish that UiPath would have moderators in their forums who are more active. There are a lot of questions that go unanswered, and that is a shame."
"The biggest challenge for our company, which is a law firm, is that the data is very sensitive, and we do not want to expose our data on the cloud. Therefore, we have our system set up in an on-prem environment, and while we try to utilize new features, with on-prem, we cannot utilize all the new features such as AI Agent or many functions on the cloud."
"Sometimes things don't pick up right away, however, it is my understanding that they're working on it, and it has improved tremendously."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is cheap in Turkey."
"I began learning UiPath with the Community version, which is available free of charge."
"Initially, the pricing was a lot more affordable. Now, it seems a bit excessive."
"I would definitely recommend UiPath, although the major concern is that it's not super cheap. Despite its higher price, I understand the complexity behind it since it's the most comprehensive RPA solution."
"The pricing is good compared to other software. Based on the features that UiPath is providing, and the community support, the price is reasonable."
"UiPath is reasonably priced for being a leader in the market."
"It is much much cheaper than the Automation Anywhere. That is a key differentiator. It is targeted at mid-level enterprises. It is cost-effective."
"Its price is fair. We have no problem. It is good."
"Compared to other automation tools, UiPath is expensive."
