What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
The deployment, and the version updates / upgrades, are straightforward and with no issue. Even the initial conversion from 602LAN SUITE happened overnight.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Stability is excellent.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We are currently investigating its scalability.
How are customer service and support?
Customer Service:
Customer service is not always helpful. They avoid to provide needed information related with proper schema layout during database conversion from mssql to mysql. As the binding between groupware and database data is crucial the project took more than expected because we had to reverse engineer the conversion.
Technical Support:Technical support is acceptable in some cases. But we suspect that they don't have in depth documentation.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We previously used Exchange and 602LAN SUITE. We switched to IceWarp because of it provides value for the money.
How was the initial setup?
Initial setup was very easy and straightforward. We even took advantage of the trial period, to minimize risk and at the same time train users.
What about the implementation team?
The implementation was done by an in-house team, with some help from technical support for the evaluation of the results.
What was our ROI?
As the license of our company is very affordable per year and per user, and considering the almost-zero administration needs, I would say that the cost is returned in the first three months, compared to other solutions.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Pricing and licensing is very competitive and in some cases, cheap.
What other advice do I have?
If the inhouse knowledge is not available and the application is important for your business, get contract support .

Great easy to use product
I have used IceWarp for email since 2002. 11 years later, I can honestly say that I remain a happy customer. I am a Microsoft Certified Exchange administrator, and as such, also maintain an exchange environment for a couple of businesses.
IceWarp is easy to install and maintain. It provides several enhancements over exchange. It is extremely easy when you compare it to the complexity of Microsoft Exchange. In fact, it is easy to add a new domain and be ready to go without the hassle, and without the licensing complexity.
I use this to host about 100 domains with somewhere around 300 email accounts. The software is up to date and maintained by the vendor.

Commercial - Technical at a cloud solution provider with 51-200 employees
It offers cross-platform communication solutions.
What is most valuable?
IceWarp offers very extended cross-platform communication solutions. For us as a hosting provider, that makes it the perfect platform to use. We can help any customer that contacts us with any question.
How has it helped my organization?
IceWarp is very open. That way, we were able to integrate it into our Hosting Control Panel, which makes it very easy to use for our customers.
What needs improvement?
There are some feature improvements possible the way we use it as a hosting provider, but for most we currently have workarounds.
As with any communication suite, it's important that IceWarp keeps making the right choices and maybe partnerships to keep delivering perfect and high-end solutions.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been a customer for almost 15 years now.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
IceWarp is always ready to help. When there are big changes pending, we always contact and discuss them first to avoid issues.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Over the 15 years, there have of course been bugs/issues on our server, but we were always able to rely on IceWarp. There have been some bugs that were difficult to find, but together we found and fixed them!
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We are a customer for 15 years and we have been able to grow perfectly together with IceWarp.
How are customer service and technical support?
Customer Service:
I always have a response within the day, no matter who I contact. If there's a bigger issue, the person contacts me by the phone so we can easily talk it over.
Technical Support:I always have a response within the day through the helpdesk and, if needed, there are remote sessions where we can describe our issues and talk about them.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
IceWarp is still our first love.
How was the initial setup?
It was a very straightforward setup.
What about the implementation team?

A stable and scalable email, messaging and collaboration service
Pros and Cons
- "It has great communication capabilities for team chatting and web conferences."
- "Our customers sometimes have problems receiving mail."
What is our primary use case?
We use IceWarp for email-related purposes. Currently, we have 3,000 plus customers who use this solution.
What is most valuable?
It has great communication capabilities for team chatting and web conferences.
What needs improvement?
Our customers sometimes have problems receiving mail. There needs to be a desktop application from where they can get a report about whether the mail was delivered or not. For the public cloud, I often have to check from the backend server whether the mail was processed or not, or where the mail was stopped — was it stopped on our side or on the recipient's side?
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using IceWarp for almost two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
IceWarp is a stable solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We are currently working on expanding our IceWarp usage.
How are customer service and technical support?
If my customers have an issue, they come to me first. If I'm not available, then they have to contact IceWarp. If I need IceWarp's help, then I can coordinate with the customers and IceWarp's team.
How was the initial setup?
As I have two years of experience with this solution, the initial setup is very easy for me.
Deployment time depends on customer availability. Maximum, it takes two to three days — from start to finish.
If it's a new customer, then it totally depends — at max, it takes one week to switch from the old mail solution to the new mail solution, everything included.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Our licensing is on a yearly basis. There were no additional costs. If a customer requires additional features, which are not including in the plan, then we simply charge additionally.
What other advice do I have?
I would definitely recommend this solution. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give this soluting a rating of nine.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Private Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

It is fairly stable and has a low price, but it requires better Exchange compatibility mode for heavy Outlook users and technical support

I have been using this solution for about seven years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Excellent product. Easy to use and good support
We have used IceWarp for years. As the CEO of the company I love the product and the support provided by the staff. We do not require a dedicated IT person to manage the IceWarp implementation and day to day operations. When we have a problem we can request support a get a quick response and helpful problem solving. I highly recommend the product and the company.
My suggestion is that they continue to include spam filtering as part of the product and not something that is purchased as part of the maintenance package.
From an ROI perspective the maintenance package is too costly.

What needs improvement?
Although it is not a tool, video conferencing should be scalable and operate in a professional and efficient way.
For how long have I used the solution?
Three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
No, I have 300 accounts (250 active) and it works perfectly.
How are customer service and technical support?
