The stack in the software supply chain is one of the main reasons that we use OpenShift. When I came to this company, we bought hardware from IBM named Bluemix, and they used ICP, which stands for IBM Cloud Private.
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform offers auto-scalability, robust security, and seamless integration into existing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing efficiency and automation. It supports comprehensive monitoring and logging, with automated upgrades to boost productivity. Although it ensures application scalability and has valuable features, OpenShift faces challenges such as a steep learning curve, high costs, and complex deployment processes. Additionally, network routing, IP management, and cloud transition guidance need improvement.
