I have transitioned to using Yammer in the cloud for about six to seven years.

People share their files and ideas and attend meetings in a collaborative manner. They work on specific sales-related documents. Yammer allows collaboration anywhere, anytime, on any device. Its adaptability and compatibility are key strengths, along with device diagnostics.

The company primarily uses it as a communications hub for our business. When you open a browser window, our homepage is a Yammer page with news items and communication from management. Some teams also set up pages within Yammer to introduce their team and its activities. So, effectively, it serves as a corporate communications hub.

I find it quite simple and intuitive. It's similar to using a more user-friendly interface for SharePoint. It integrates seamlessly with the browser, so you hardly notice you're using it.

Overall, in terms of documentation, reporting, and integrations, I'm satisfied.

We primarily use it for internal communication and company communication.

It is part of the Microsoft suite, so I receive notifications in Teams. Although receiving notifications in Teams and email can be annoying, it is presumably configurable. 

The tool allows us to post and keep track of company buzz and events without relying on email. It functions as an internal social media platform, enabling communication about company happenings securely. There's peer-to-peer engagement where you can praise colleagues and give recognition points. It integrates with other platforms for recognition, making it an effective tool for internal communication.

Yammer is used as a social media platform for our organization. We used Yammer as a replacement for Workplace.com, a service provided by Facebook. It has almost the same features as Yammer. However, Yammer comes as a package with a Microsoft subscription.

Groups is the most valuable feature in Yammer.

Yammer was mainly a communication site my company used to provide information about internal events.

The most valuable feature of Yammer is that it provides integration with Teams. You have a side-channel method of receiving those other than just email. Sometimes, when email is the only way something arrives, it gets lost in the shuffle.

Yammer still comes via email, and I look at it when I see it. However, it tends to be less easily dismissed when it pops up in Teams. I'm with a different company, and the company that I was getting it from doesn't go cross-channel into different teams. Seeing it in Teams was helpful when I was at that company.

I like the fact that you can comment on Yammer posts, interact with them, and see other people interacting with them. I think that's valuable. It's similar to Facebook, but it's for business.

We can create channels in Yammer and attach them to a particular team in Microsoft Teams. Anyone can join the channels, get notifications, and collaborate. We can send out notifications and ask questions using Yammer.

Yammer is a good tool. My previous organization used it extensively. Pretty much everything had a Yammer channel. If someone outside the team had questions, they could just come up and ask questions using the product. Asking questions and posting things are the most important features.

If we run into an issue and a team owns the product, we can just use the solution to ask questions and get responses from that team. Otherwise, we will be stuck in a loop forever to figure it out. In a large company, we can get stuck if we don't know who to contact to determine what is happening and why.

The product was integrated into Microsoft Teams. We could collaborate easily. There are so many things we can do with Teams. So, the collaboration is at a different level when we use Microsoft products like Teams and Yammer, along with other tools that come with the suite. The solution worked well for me. I did not face anything that would make me stop using it.

We use this solution mainly for the distribution of product descriptions, etc. I've always been in the technical realm, so my role has been promoting within my organization. Yammer is a very good way to interact with a large number of similarly-minded individuals. I've added a large number of solution teams and SE teams to my Yammer network. 

This allows me to communicate in mass but also have the ability to comment, go through that, and interact with these people very quickly. I've used Yammer in the last two companies I've worked for.

Yammer shows the post’s actions, comments, and how people react. We can quickly see what's going on. 

We use a lot of voting features where we can put star ratings on things. We use this information to guide product development and related initiatives, utilizing the collected ideas and accomplished tasks as a foundation. It works very well enough. 

We use Yammer as an enterprise social platform to share everyday happenings, like congratulating someone on their achievements.

The most valuable feature of Yammer is its interface. You can do your updates from the Yammer app itself. Since we have integrated it with SharePoint, we can go into SharePoint and see our latest posts from all our colleagues, or we can make our own post.
