We are looking on information we can use to promote the features of CA Service Desk versus Maximo. What makes Service Desk better, easier to use, more cost efficient, etc.
Please rush this info to us, which we plan to use to motivate/bring key stakeholders, resolvers and users on board.

True! Depending on the size of your company, Cherwell can also be a fit. I really should have mentioned that. Basically, if you're 150 people in IT org or above, look at ServiceNow or BMC Remedy ITSM. If below that, Cherwell is a great bet. It can work fine for larger companies too, just depends on your requirements at that point.
Careful. In my opinion you are looking at 2 products with a dim future. The only products worth reviewing today for enterprise IT organizations are BMC Remedy ITSM and ServiceNow. If you are looking for an on-premise solution, BMC Remedy ITSM is your best bet. For SaaS, it's ServiceNow. That may sound too simplistic, so feel free to contact me via LinkedIn for more information. The next key question is... who will your implementation partner be? That is a more difficult question, but I'd be happy to suggest 3 organizations/region based on your location.
