One person is enough for the deployment, depending on the nation and the quantity configured. We don't have a centralized model through which you can deploy configuration. I would recommend it for security. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

We are Cisco customers. As long as you have the certifications and training, Cisco is very easy to configure and operate. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. I've very happy with Cisco.
I give the solution a ten out of ten. We have over 100 people using the solution. We require around 20 people for the deployment and maintenance of the solution. I recommend the solution to other people.
My advice for the people who want Cisco routers is that I think they have to learn how to use them because there are a lot of features that they can use in the solution. But if they don't know how to use it, then they shouldn't buy it. They have to learn everything about the router so that they can use the very good features of the router. So, they need to get knowledge about the router and its features. Once you know how to use it, it's satisfying. To understand the router and its features, I usually rely on Google, Cisco's website, and occasionally other websites. I find the documentation on the Cisco website to be great since they know how to explain the features well since the routers are their products. I rate this solution a ten out of ten, at times a nine out of ten, but not lower than that.

I’m an end-user. We are using Cisco 800 switches, Cisco 9300 switches, and Cisco 4400 series routers. These are enterprise routers on-premises. Using Cisco is the way to go. The peace of mind you get from having a solution that's reliable is invaluable. You are buying reliability, and around it is the value for your money. As a reliable solution, that's what you want, so that you focus on innovation. You configure it, forget it, and focus on other business activities. I’d rate the solution ten out of ten.
Based on my experience with other routers, Cisco has proven to be reliable. And from the routing aspect of things, it is really the product of choice for most of my customers. Whenever they want to implement any networking, most of them will request Cisco products. I rate Cisco Enterprise Routers a nine out of ten. Comparing the 3900 to the 3800 routers, the class of routers has improved over the 3800. Most of the modules are gigabit ports and you can receive 10 gig ports with them, compared to the older version where it's a 100 megabit port. Based on how the industry is going, where most connections are way over 100 megabits. If you're receiving an internet connection from a business customer, it's going to be more than 100 megabits, and sometimes 250 megs, or even 500 megabits. To have a router that is 100 megabits defeats the purpose of having a faster internet connection. The 3900 Series really solved that problem, where there are gigabit ports. If you want to aggregate ports to receive, for example, 10 gigabits or more, you can always do that by putting in a module SSP port. It has improved a lot.
We use the most recent version of the solution, however, I do not know the version number off-hand. I’d rate the solution at a ten out of ten. We’ve been very happy with its capabilities.
I am an enterprise network engineer. I have only four governmental agencies as customers. Most businesses have no need for routers because they are not an ISDB. For example, our company is using approximately 40 to 50 routers because we are supporting other companies with end connections to other governmental entities. If businesses are not an ISDB they do not need routers. I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Cisco Enterprise Routers a ten out of ten.

It is important for smaller companies to focus on understanding how deployments are done. The learning should be done from the perspective of deployment operations because whether you are an enterprise or a service provider you are buying these routers and offering a service to the internal or external customers as a service provider. You need to understand how these platforms and overall solutions help you to build a network faster and which part of it reduces the cost. Many of the smaller companies do not understand the operational expenses well enough, they will end up doing all kinds of Ad Hoc configurations with half the knowledge, and they will run into problems and it will be expensive. I rate Cisco Enterprise Routers a six out of ten.
If you want an easy solution to keep your network running in a very short time, Cisco Enterprise Routers is a good option. It's not probably the best solution if you have a very limited budget. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate Cisco Enterprise Routers at nine.
I would recommend this solution. Everything is good. Cisco is a good company, and Cisco products are good. I would rate Cisco Enterprise Routers a nine out of ten.

My advice for anybody who is considering this product is that it is very easy to use, and there is a large community to support you. I recommend checking the licensing because sometimes when you buy the product, you may forget to check the licensing and warranty information. We have seen that most clients work with third-parties when it comes to a monitoring solution for Cisco routers. In summary, this is a good product and one that I recommend. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
You can't compare Cisco to any other gadget or any other solution. They're the best in the market, hands down. I have no choice other than giving them full marks of ten out of ten. I'd recommend Cisco to everyone.

My advice to others considering this solution would be not to do what we did. Don't go with the all-in-one solution. Buy a basic product that Cisco certifies is more than capable of routing the traffic that you expect on the network, then get a decent firewall behind the router to really take care of security, content filtering, ACL and all the rest that a firewall does. It could be a bit expensive, of course, because you're buying two products instead of one. But what you can get out of it is much more than we get now from this Cisco solution. It's not by any chance that when ISPs all over the world deliver an internet access line, they don't give you the top of the line support equipment. They don't push you to buy Cisco because it is the best. They give you something really basic because it's not supposed to do anything else than routing traffic from and to the internet. They expect you to have a firewall behind that router to manage all the rest of what a firewall is supposed to handle. Those providers know exactly what they're doing. What I have learned from my experience with this product is to do more to check for something else as alternatives and compare products without just accepting a reputation and advice from the vending company's experts. You might not need to buy something expensive to really accomplish what you need to do.
Buy official equipment and services from Cisco and you will have fully qualified technical support. There are no limitations, you should go forward with the solution. There is always something new being developed and it is always growing. This is a company that is very innovative. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
We operate a hotel and we have clients who are logging into the WiFi all the time. We need to give them good connectivity. Sometimes we get as many as 500 connections and we know that with Cisco unless the service provider lets us down, the device won't fail. It's a very good product. I'd recommend the solution. I'd rate it ten out of ten.
I would rate it a nine out of ten. Nothing is perfect and Cisco is always developing and improving the product. I would recommend it. I sell the product and I would recommend this one as an internet solution. I get everything I need from this solution.

We're mostly using the 4000 series of the solution. In terms of advice, I'd say users need to be clear about customer requirements to avoid overpaying for features they don't need. They should take care to select the proper router type and use the proper license. For deployment, they need a high level of understanding, for the implementation and configuration. They need to be prepared for all scenarios to be network ready. Something might turn off, for example, so they need to be prepared for those instances in order to properly handle them. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

In one or two years, once SD-WAN is more mature, we may switch from our traditional routers and protocols to be completely integrated with SD-WAN. My advice for anybody who is implementing this solution is to consider the routing that is needed because it can change the way you set up and deploy. There are differences between MPLS, internet routing, and office connectivity. SD-WAN will also be something to look into. This is a good solution, but it's not perfect. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

Most of the time, I use the command-line interface. The downtime for a switch automatically taking over for another one has been reduced. It used to take five or six minutes for the jobs on the other resource tree, but it is faster now. My advice for people implementing this solution is to test it. Try new things that you have never tried. Cisco has support, which is the most important thing. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
I would advise someone outside the US to consider the issues that we're facing right now, the currency devaluation and licensing fees. I would rate it a nine out of ten because we haven't had any major issues with it.
