Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. It's a good product. If McAfee can improve the administrative interface to be more user-friendly, then I would definitely recommend it. Currently, you might need some external support to manage it effectively, which can be a cost consideration. The main benefit is the protection it provides. My systems haven't been attacked, which is ultimately what matters.
Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten. I would definitely recommend McAfee itself. Every enterprise security solution is up to date with the latest threats, so there wouldn't be major challenges between McAfee, Symantec, or any of them in that regard. However, my overall recommendation depends on their specific requirements. If you're looking for a specific solution like a firewall or a web application firewall (WAF) specifically, then my suggestion might change. It would depend on where you're planning to configure it - Azure, GCP, on-premises, etc. For example, if their applications are running on Azure and need a WAF, I would suggest Azure WAF instead of a third-party service like McAfee. But if it's on-premises or another cloud platform, then it depends on the available services. In that case, McAfee might be a good suggestion. Whether it's McAfee, running on-premises, or Azure Defender for your Azure VMs, it will impact resource utilization. The impact depends on the specific security measurements you're looking for. For example, in Azure, Azure Defender is already available and very user-friendly. You just enable it, and it takes care of everything. If McAfee has a similar service available in the marketplace, then I could recommend McAfee as well.
If somebody is not very professional in security and just wants to have a good solution to protect his environment, it's a good one. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I would advise others to keep track of when their solution expires. It is important to keep your solution up to date. If it is not up to date you can be vulnerable to threats, such as spyware. I rate McAfee MOVE AntiVirus a nine out of ten.

I'm not sure which version of the solution we're currently using. It's likely the latest. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. We've been very pleased with how it has worked for us so far. I'm not sure if I would recommend the solution to other users. It's not for me to say.
The solution tends to automatically update itself, and therefore, we are always on the latest version. However, I cannot speak to the exact version number. I'm not sure if it's on the cloud or on-premises. It just seems to work in the background and take care of itself. I'd rate the solution at a six out of ten. It's an okay security solution, however, it really affects the performance of my machine. I'm not sure if I would be able to recommend the solution, as I have no sense of what else is on the market.

The solution is both cloud-based and on-premises. McAfee is the way to go for someone who only is interested in using DLP and antivirus. It will also allow a person to use the device controller. Sophos makes available the use of full DLP. However, one must use Symantec for drive encryption, which is very good. I rate McAfee MOVE AntiVirus as an eight out of ten.

We are customers and end-users. I cannot recall the exact version number of our current solution. We are doing R&D right now. I'm new to this organization and I have to manage it all. I find that right now, with McAfee, we're trying to figure out what to do with it. It's up for renewal. We're working to decide if it should stay or if we should switch to something new. The console is not user-friendly and that's a bit of a turn-off. It's making us reconsider the product. That said, I'd recommend the solution to other organizations. It's good. It's just that, if I appointed a new trainee and I asked him to set the policy for the security on a user's laptop he would just get annoyed. If it was more user-friendly I wouldn't have to worry about the onboarding process so much. New team members would just be able to handle the tasks and not be confused by the technology itself. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten.

McAfee is known to be one of the best anti-malware products out there. We are aware of what's happening in the industry. The only advice I would give is to ensure there's a proper business arrangement in terms of the support. If there is no support from the vendor deploying the solution, then they must enforce training and knowledge transfer during the project implementation period so that there can be in-house support. Otherwise, they should have a kind of agreement that can confirm that the vendors can support them after deploying the solution. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate McAfee MOVE AntiVirus an eight.

Take a look at the other McAfee products. It integrates with other products and vendors which is unique to other vendors.
