The solution was a little bit expensive at the beginning, but that's not Check Point's fault. It's an issue with the taxes. When you buy a product, they have a lot of taxes. So, it becomes expensive. But they actually made very good pricing. WatchGuard also gives good prices. We have a yearly base license. The support is included in the license costs.
The price and licenses will depend on the features and functions that need to be implemented, as well as the number of devices needed. It is easy to install, however, you must have prior knowledge of the product.

Check Point Antivirus is an expensive solution, especially for clients that don't have as many endpoints. Check Point Antivirus has a free trial for one month, and within the trial period, there's no limit to the number of endpoints it can support, but when the trial expires, you'll have to buy the license, which covers one year. You can't buy a license for the solution without being a Check Point partner first.
The costs are high, however, the tool fulfills its security objective very well, I recommend looking for a good partner that will help you both with your needs and find the right tool to provide the company's internal security.
It's cheap and quite low presently, and the room for customization is humongous currently. High time to go for these solutions as they are accelerating with great performance and pace.
It is important to assess and verify the costs of Check Point technologies with an expert vendor to help determine the technology and tool that can meet the specific business needs of each company. The documentation is outdated. However, if it is validated well, it is possible to obtain what is required for the implementations.
Always aim to optimize the setup cost, pricing, and licensing as any overboard in these costs can backfire on the organization and business can get adversely affected.
Usually, Check Point products are not cheap but compared to Fortinet, it's in line with the competition. There aren't additional fees that I'm aware of.
Choosing the correct set of licenses is essential because, without the additional software blade licenses, the Check Point gateways are just a stateful firewall.
