We spent nearly 1,50,000 Euros for 250 licenses. On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a nine or ten out of ten.
Citrix had its licensing model, which also worked with Microsoft user licenses. This collaboration between Microsoft and Citrix created a consortium that handled the licensing. However, Citrix has changed its licensing model due to a recent merger. Comparing the earlier Citrix days to the current situation post-merger, there is a significant difference in Citrix's licensing prices.

As for the cost, it is neither cheap nor expensive. Personally, I find it quite expensive, especially if you want to add more features. The security features we use include App Protect and Endpoint Protection.

The pricing for Citrix Workspace is relatively high which is influenced by market competition and the availability of similar products. However, Citrix has been working on reducing license charges, as they include terminal service licenses. Furthermore, if one opts for cloud infrastructure, such as Azure, additional licensing fees may apply. I rate the product’s pricing a seven out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.

It's a monthly subscription. Some customers find the price to be expensive. Because first, they have to pay for Microsoft Remote Desktop user accounts, and then on top of that, they need Citrix accounts. It's not exactly double the cost, but it's a significant increase. Some customers are sensitive to costs, but some have started to understand why they need to pay for all the services.
The licensing of Citrix Workspace is worth it. However, it is expensive. Citrix is probably more competitive now than VMware, but it is still a costly solution.

We are just now approaching the end of our initial purchase, which was an excellent price for us as an academic institution. We got a very good deal to get us on board. That license is up for renewal in about a year, and we are nervously waiting to see what the pricing will be.

If one is a high price and ten is a low price, I rate the tool's price a three.

My company opts for the yearly subscription model to pay towards the licensing costs attached to the solution.
Citrix is expensive. In comparison, VMware is less expensive and gives free licenses as well.
The tool is expensive. A license costs $1000. If we want the best solution, we must pay for it.

I rate the pricing a five out of five because it is a good price.
The price of the solution could be less expensive. There are different versions to their solution and the price keeps increasing.

We don't have a lot to compare it to, but we certainly think whatever we pay is worthwhile at this point in time. It's very reasonable.
