My company makes monthly payments towards the licensing charges associated with the product. I think it's a reasonably priced product. There is no need to pay anything extra apart from the payments towards the licensing charges associated with the product.

Dropbox has become much more affordable in recent years. About two or three years ago, I was seriously considering how to structure my backups, file storage, and file sharing within my family. Dropbox was a viable option, even though I was willing to pay for its services. I pay ten euros monthly for Dropbox, which is 120 euros/year. I have two terabytes of storage, and I'm also paying for Microsoft Office Home, which costs around 100 dollars/year. For the same price, I get half the storage with Dropbox. The complete Office suite package gives access to Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications.
While the pricing is comparable, especially for users of Microsoft Office 365, the value proposition might not be as competitive for those seeking primarily storage options. I currently pay ten euros per month, totaling one hundred and twenty euros annually. This subscription provides me with two terabytes of storage.
I find their pricing to be fairly standard and competitive when compared to the rest of the market. The pricing is affordable for a range of businesses, from small to large. I would rate it eight out of ten.
The pricing for non-corporations is expensive. They have raised their prices and have low storage capacity. There is a monthly and annual model pay and use solution.

The solution allows one only a certain amount of free storage, but he must pay for a subscription, perhaps on a six-month basis, if he wishes to maintain this. While I feel the price being charged to be reasonable, it should either be more cost-effective or account for an increased amount of storage space.

We are using the free version of the solution. While you can pay more for more storage space, we do not actually use the paid version, and therefore I can't speak to its aspects precisely.
We're satisfied with the pricing. It's fine. If you need to increase storage, you can just buy more capacity. That said, I don't directly deal with licensing.

One area that has been a big issue for me is when I tried to close my accounts, it is difficult. We had small personal accounts, and we then wanted to consolidate everything to the business account, but then to cancel and close those smaller accounts, it's a big issue. I still haven't done it and it's quite a long process. They can't cancel the license and transfer the data over to the new business account easily. There seem to be some complexities involved. We pay annually to use the solution and the price is approximately £600.
The amount of free space they provide is sufficient for me. However, if you want more space I don't believe is very expensive. I don't pay any licensing fees.

You pay as you go, which is a good thing. There is a monthly fee, and you can also pay annually. This flexibility makes the subscription easier and affordable for some of us. I prefer yearly pricing, which is also slightly cheaper than monthly pricing.

Licensing is subscription based. It can be a monthly or annual subscription - I recommend the annual subscription, it's easily renewed.
