It's better. Yeah, it's really good. It's one of the main points why we offer it. Since we are partners with them, sometimes we offer our customers a lower price.
If one is very cheap and ten is very expensive, I rate the product price as three or four. The tool is cost-effective and offers value for money. I didn't mean it was very expensive. The price is fixed, but some features need an extra license.
It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either. It depends on the features you need and whether you choose hardware or a virtual machine. I would rate the pricing a five out of ten, where one is high, and ten is low

The pricing is in the middle. I would rate the pricing a five out of ten. It feels like a justified cost for the features, but it might get more expensive in the future. Also, keep in mind that Check Point's support contracts are particularly expensive. In general, there is additional cost for support. But Fortinet support is generally cheaper than Check Point support. Palo Alto is even more expensive. This information is publicly available – you can compare comparable hardware and support contracts on their websites. Check Point tends to be the most expensive. This is just general information, and my understanding might not be perfectly accurate.

FortiWeb offers these services at a price that SME customers can afford, but it's also suitable for large enterprises. Still, they need to put in more work to gain a greater share of enterprise business because they face stiff competition in this segment from F5, Cloudflare, and some others.
FortiWeb is transparent about how much each application costs. When you create an application, it will tell you the estimated cost. The licensing is clear, so we can see that we're getting a good value. We're satisfied with the price. Our organization sometimes questions if we're getting our money's worth, but we get a decent value from FortiWeb for the price. Everyone on our team and within the infrastructure area is happy with it.

So far, I have been pretty pleased with the way it's priced and licensed. The way it's done makes it easy, especially for an organization like us, so I've been pleased with the way it's priced and licensed right now.

The pricing is pretty good. We do pass a lot of traffic through our API servers. Something like 100 gigs of web traffic is a fair amount for reduced JSON API calls, but the cost is $50. For that peace of mind, we have thousands and thousands of customers that are protected by that $50, so it's a no-brainer.
The solution is very inexpensive when compared to F5 Advanced WAF and Avi Networks but offers the same benefits. Our one-year license is $24,000 Canadian and includes all users. We are very satisfied with the solution's licensing strategy.
We actually expanded our subscription for the next three years. I don't remember the exact price. It should be somewhere about 36,000 Euros. That's the cost for three years. It's moderately priced. I'd rate the general cost at a three out of five.

There's only one payment for the duration of the license. On a scale from one to five, I would rate pricing at four. I have not encountered any additional costs on my projects involving Fortinet FortiWeb.

It keeps changing, but it's based on the size of the VM you buy and also the traffic throughput you want from it, whereas what we have on Azure is just the traffic throughput. You can also pay on a monthly basis from Azure. During each part of the project, it's okay to get Azure-based licensing or AWS-based licensing for FortiWeb, but over time, you would want to go with the perpetual license. You should go to Fortinet and buy the license from them. So, there is a two-step process there.

There is a subscription to use this solution. There are some additional features that can be added for an extra fee. The use of the features depends on the client's needs, such as full machine learning and signatures.
FortiWeb offers a good price for the marketplace. In the Sri Lankan market, it's hard to find high-end products that can match FortiWeb's pricing. For high-end solutions, the price is always extremely high.

In a high availability cluster configuration, where the primary FortiGate is working and the secondary is a backup, Fortinet requires us to buy two licenses instead of one whether we are actually using it or not. With other products, you only purchase one license because we only use one license per instance.

It is not a cheap product. It is not like a Linux or a Genex that you can deploy. It is a hardware appliance, and it is built for a specific reason and reliability. It is an enterprise-class solution. You wouldn't find an SMB investing in something like this.

Its subscription prices are cheaper, and it is not very expensive. From a price perspective, Fortinet is a very well-known security vendor. Subscriptions are very simple. They have a couple of licenses on an appliance, and that's it. The cost is not that big. One license is 40K, which they give with all the products. Another one includes the subscriptions for threat prevention, IPS, sandboxing, etc, which is more than enough.

The solution can be a bit expensive. It's not a product line. We use other devices as well as it's not a one-stop-shop. If you need a firewall, for example, you need to buy another product, like Fortinet. FortiWeb doesn't cover things like firewalls. The license itself is also quite expensive.
I think that ForiWeb is expensive for what they are offering. At the end of the day, when you sell a suite, compliance within the suite is easy to maintain. That is the good part. It is an expensive suite and it is an expensive solution, but it is a manageable one for an enterprise. It should just be cheaper for what they are offering in comparison to other tools on the market.
All our Fortinet pricing is bundled together for different products, like FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiWeb. FortiWeb, by itself, is probably around $2,500 to $3,500.

The license cost depends on the size of the box or the size of the solution. It can go from few K Euros to a few hundred thousand Euros a year depending on your size.
Fortinet FortiWeb is a Web Application Firewall (WAF) that protects your web applications and APIs from attacks targeting known as well as unknown vulnerabilities. As the surface of your web applications evolves with each change of existing features and deployment of new features, your APIs are left exposed. Fortinet FortiWeb provides the board protection capabilities required to protect web applications without sacrificing performance or manageability.
