I rate the pricing of Sangfor HCI at a five, as it is thirty to thirty-five percent more efficient than other solutions in terms of total cost of ownership.

Initially, Sangfor was very competitively priced compared to other leading HCI solutions. Now, while the pricing has begun to align more with the market, it remains competitive and offers good value compared to other options.

The pricing is high. I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, where one is low, and ten is high pricing. The price depends on the number of nodes and the number of servers.
Sangfor has multiple options. They have both optics and capex models. You have to buy annual support. We went for perpetual licenses. We bought their annual support for three years. Their support covers everything except for hardware failure. We use our hardware. The yearly support is cheap. It costs around 10-15% of the license cost. I rate the product’s pricing a three out of ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive.

The solution is on-premise which does not have a subscription. However, there is a need to purchase support. The solution is on a perpetual license model. There is not any extra cost other than the standard licensing fees. The price is affordable for the solution. I rate the price of Sangfor HCI a six out of ten.

The solution is very cheap. The solution is cheaper than others and has no hidden costs. The hypervisors are free, we just need the warranty to protect the hardware.
The solution costs less than other options. There are extra features you can buy as well that add extra security. It's a node-based license. I don't actually have the price available to me at this point, however, it is less than the data centers of Microsoft or VMware's enterprise edition. I'd rate the pricing overall at a seven out of ten.
Sangfor HCI was attractive to us because of the simplicity of its licensing and lack of hidden costs compared to its competitors. I would say its pricing is between cheap and reasonable and would rate it as three out of five.
The pricing is pretty good, especially compared to VMware. If we are talking about this initial cost to set up (and not talking about future maintenance), it's about 40% cheaper than VMware. We have a three-year license that we pay yearly. I can't speak about the exact price.

Sangfor needs to be more aggressive because this is a new market or territory for Sangfor. Nepal is a very price-sensitive market, so Sangfor needs to be a little more aggressive with its pricing. I would rate them 3.75 out of five in terms of the price.
Its price should be better, but I don't think they will change the price list. You have to pay for licenses, and you have to pay for support, so you have an annual fee. You can use the product without the fee, but it's really dumb because you need support. We are an IT company. We provide the product, and we need the support too for our customers.

It is in the middle range as compared to other hyper-converged infrastructure solutions. There is a three-year warranty on the hardware. The license also includes other features. Sangfor has included Continuous Data Protection (CDP) and a built-in firewall with the license. Other top brands, such as VxRail and VMware, require a separate license for such features.
