Pricing seemed reasonable at first. However, the way SentinelOne handles its licensing did not work for our environments and led to secondary discussions around cost. They counted many of the instances and licenses as duplicates despite them only being alive once, which was frustrating.

While SentinelOne Singularity Complete carries a higher price tag than some endpoint security solutions, customers find its robust features and return on investment justify the cost. However, it remains a more budget-friendly option compared to CrowdStrike.

SentinelOne makes licensing easy by reducing the number of modules or packages that they have to offer. A lot of other vendors make licensing very complicated with separate modules or separate costs. By bundling necessary features, SentinelOne ensures that security leaders are not left confused by options. This bundling of necessities has served our needs well. As they bring on more technologies and more offerings, they are either bundled with the premium packages or other packages they have or they are bundled separately as another SKU.

SentinelOne is significantly less expensive than CrowdStrike. I recently did a price comparison between CrowdStrike and SentinelOne to determine where we are going for the next three years. CrowdStrike is 200% to 300% the cost. For their complete service, we were paying CrowdStrike 45K for 85 endpoints for a year. We have stepped down, and we are doing MDR and not having SentinelOne manage our policies and things. We have 200 endpoints, and our yearly cost is 17K, so we have gone from 45K to 17K. From a detection standpoint, depending upon which MITRE framework tests you look at, both vendors jockey up and down in the top ten. They are pretty comparable from a performance and efficacy standpoint, so there is not a 200% to 300% gap there.

It is expensive. There is no doubt about it. If one of the functions does not work, it becomes very difficult for any CIO to justify the cost. I would not be able to share the exact price, but we had almost 8,000 endpoint licenses, and it was a huge cost. CrowdStrike is not cheaper than SentinelOne. Both products go neck to neck. Both are costly products.
Overall, the price is very competitive. It's just relatively low compared to other products. The team told me it's something like 12% cheaper than CrowdStrike. SentinelOne is much more cost-effective compared to other software because they offer a lot of flexibility in terms of licenses, which you can scale every month. But others might have a more user-friendly, centralized console. If that's a need, then you have to pay a premium for that.

The licensing is convenient, straightforward, and very clear. I care more about the breakdown of the license than the licensing itself. Some vendors have very complex licensing schemes. SentinelOne's licensing scheme is very clean.

Nothing good is cheap, and SentinelOne is no exception. However, as a market leader with a great product, they don't have to be so timid with their pricing. I would like to see lower prices, but I understand why they charge what they do. It is what it is when it comes to SentinelOne Singularity Complete.

The price is pretty good. It is reasonable. It's one of the reasons we went with them. Palo Alto, in comparison, was pretty expensive. The price of Cylance was reasonable and somewhere in the middle, however, SentinelOne feature-wise gave us everything we needed for a good price.
SentinelOne Singularity Complete's pricing is not terrible. It's not enough to make us want to move away from using SentinelOne. The solution's pricing is not too bad for what it's offering, like the documentation that comes with it. I feel like it should be an optional add-on for people who may not be using things to integrate or may not want to integrate things.

SentinelOne Singularity Complete is aggressively priced compared to smaller solutions. Still, in the past, as I worked for a SentinelOne reseller partner that deployed SentinelOne solutions to a lot of different customers, I was able to appreciate its capabilities and full features, which is part of the reason my company has implemented SentinelOne Singularity Complete. The solution is a bit cheaper than CrowdStrike Falcon Pro and more expensive than smaller solutions. Still, it has a pretty reasonable pricing point, as I appreciate the flexibility SentinelOne Singularity Complete offers. I haven't been disappointed with its pricing because I'm more of a "not everything cheaper is better" person. It's not better if it makes the worst product. I'm very satisfied with SentinelOne Singularity Complete, especially its price because I've worked with various companies. Yet, I found that no one provides a really good solution for the price except for SentinelOne.

We did receive a competitive price for SentinelOne Singularity Complete. However, I believe the retail pricing, or MSRP, is a bit high. I hope we can get the same competitive pricing through our reseller when it comes time to renew. I still believe there are benefits to the solution, even if we had to pay the list price. However, I think they could be more competitive with their upfront pricing.

The license for the solution is quite expensive, but it is cheaper than CrowdStrike. However, if you consider specific organization requirements, it has covered them all, so we might move to CrowdStrike after evaluating three years. Then, we assess the kind of tool in line with our requirements and implement the latest and the best tool in the quadrant, and currently, in Cambodia, CrowdStrike and TrendMicro are more popular.
