The JasperReport Library is free for basic reporting such as bank statements that do not require graphical representations. Many customers prefer to stick with the free version. The JasperReport Server is a flexible, paid version that includes HTML5 charts, the ability to design the dashboard, and the option to create canned, online, or ad hoc reports. Pricing used to be quite cheap with a restriction similar to 100 customers per server. The pricing is still cost effective because it is based on servers rather than users.
