Appian is really helpful in automating different processes. Our clients use it for process automation and leveraging updated features like Appian Portal and Appian RPA. The main use case revolves around external application building in nature, making it comparable to other mobile app general interfaces, particularly those heavy in user interface and user exchange. Also, Appian Records integrates all systems, providing a consolidated view, dashboard, monitoring, and report.
Appian is a platform that focuses on human-centric workflows around processes. It facilitates requests for policies or incidents involving groups of people. The application manages the workflow between individuals to negotiate and confirm these policies.
Appian is a good workflow solution. So, I use it for workflow and low-code application development. Workflows can basically be embedded in any domain. For example, we use Appian as a workflow solution primarily in chunks. We have a couple of use cases that we have built. From a personal marketing perspective, it basically supports the end-to-end building of an awesome product, wherein you can use it primarily for data orchestration, and then for building process workflows, and then for building approval workflows. So, you can set it all together. You can bring in the data through Appian, and then I use this to integrate with different solutions, different products, and different platforms that exist in the company. It brings them all together. It can then be automated. We have a couple of new steps available to us.

I've done a lot of personal projects, but we haven't yet implemented anything at an enterprise scale. We're just toying around with it and seeing if we can find a good solution for our needs. What we're focusing on is bringing apps to market faster than what a typical application development team takes, which can be a six-month to a year timeline. We want to see if we can do more proof of concepts, prove ideas, and provide value to our business as they ask for it.

We used this solution for the digitalization of all our legal processes. It has very flexible adaptation and the ability to save and automate processes. In addition, it is easy to change the user interface and improve it, make reports, and obtain information copies.
Our organization uses Appian for content management for our documentation. We are also using the solution for endpoint authentication in our clinic for clinical trials. In terms of banking, we use Appian for contract and access management. Over the past 13 years, we have implemented Appian for 53 customers.
They are different zones because we have customers spread across various industries. It's spread across BFSI, manufacturing, and retail. The use cases are multifold. Appian is a solution more for finding solutions within the businesses, which are industry-specific, and business-specific. If it is retail, then we use Appian for onboarding solutions, customer onboarding, case management, and multiple.
We use Appian to automate processes that we are currently doing manually. We are working on an agile project. We have 500 people using this solution, most of which are operational. This particular project started with four cases, or four processes. Next year we plan on doubling this and implementing eight more cases.

For a majority of Appian use cases, it's more about business process workflow. Primarily, the ones that have high logic on the coding perspective and more on the backend processing. We deploy Appian in that particular setup. We are using version 21 of Appian. For a majority of our customers, the solution is deployed on cloud.
Normally, we are building platforms. At the moment, we are running 19 big projects, and we had never used Appian before. One of our customers is a big consulting company, and one of their customers wanted a project with Appian. They don't have Appian developers, but we have a very good team. They reached out to us and they had some projects in 2022 with Appian, and they asked for our support. I gave my BAs and PMs an introductory level Appian course, and now some of the developers are doing the associate and lead developer part for Appian.

There are multiple use cases of Appian. A banking customer uses it more for agent onboarding; we are working on contract management for a manufacturing customer; and we are working on an incident management system for an airport. There are almost seven to eight use cases, as of now. We don't use Appian, we are partners and we implement this solution for customers. I'm working on both on-premises and cloud-based deployment. Appian's deployment is hybrid.
We use this solution to provide us with real-time data on all connected systems — for a continuous process workflow. Within our company, there are roughly 45 people using this solution — mostly developers. We have two admins that handle all maintenance-related issues.

We use Appian for client on-boarding, anything onboard related, really: loading institutional clients, tracking that information in a single reporter, doing the follow-up, creating the plan parables for them, and developing for them. In my organization, there are about 150 users who are currently using Appian on a daily basis. We use Appian very extensively. Every day, there are more than 100 unique logins to the system.
