There is room for improvement in Zoom, though I cannot pinpoint specifics. Issues such as stability, particularly when many people are involved, may arise due to bandwidth rather than Zoom itself. However, Zoom could benefit from enhancements to manage large participant volumes.
Maybe the UI could be improved a bit. Plus, it would be helpful if all the chat history was maintained, even between calls. If I'm chatting during a call, I'd like that chat to be available later. Zoom have some control over the number of users who can interact at a single time, but I'm not sure about the specifics.
The tool must enhance the features it provides. It can incorporate more features. Webex has a SIP connection integrated into it. Webex also allows third-party connections.
Zoom has frequent updates, occurring every week or twice a week. This poses a significant issue because sometimes when we attempt to initiate a call, the system begins an upgrade process, taking at least 30 seconds and sometimes up to two minutes. This unscheduled upgrade can be inconvenient for users, as they must wait for the update to complete. When users who don't have the plugin available, they sometimes encounter difficulties using the browser-based system. They don't need to download any additional applications for the purpose of meeting. Zoom should invest more in this area. Secondly, the primary target customers are the enterprise or business sectors, rather than students. Microsoft is heavily targeting the business sector. However, if these users eventually adopt Zoom for educational purposes, they will need to use the same application.

We use screen sharing, but sometimes it can be awkward because you might accidentally share the wrong screen, including personal ones. It's a common function in Zoom meetings but can lead to some uncomfortable moments. Even though we use screen sharing a lot, it can still be awkward because we don't always know what the other person's screen looks like. Technical issues often arise during screen sharing, especially in hybrid meetings where some people are in physical meeting rooms, and others are online. In those cases, it isn't easy to know which screen is being shared, especially if multiple screens are connected. One area where the tool could improve is providing better clarity during screen sharing. It would be helpful to have a feature where participants can see what others see on their screen, especially when sharing presentations like PowerPoint slides. Sometimes it's hard to know which screen is being shared. Additionally, indicating when screen sharing has stopped would be beneficial. Another aspect that could be enhanced is noise cancellation. While Zoom does have this functionality, it's not widely known among participants. Maybe the solution could promote noise cancellation features more effectively, especially for users in open office environments where background noise can be problematic. Users could access noise cancellation with just one click, which works well in my experience. However, having a dedicated button on the dashboard might be helpful for quick access rather than navigating through the audio settings. The noise cancellation feature also has different levels, like low, medium, and high, depending on the background noise level. But if you set it too high in a quiet environment, it can also cancel out your voice. One thing I'd like to see in a new version of Zoom is better control over Otter.ai. If someone is invited to a meeting but doesn't attend, Otter.ai will join the meeting and record it without the host's consent. There's no way to block or prevent this from happening, even though Zoom works with Otter.ai for transcription purposes. It would be helpful to introduce settings allowing hosts to block or manage Otter.ai from joining meetings without permission. This would prevent situations where meetings are recorded without consent. While attaching a link to a calendar invite for personal meeting rooms is straightforward, it's not as smooth for dedicated meetings created within Zoom. Sometimes there are issues with logging in or stability when connecting Zoom with Outlook calendars. As a workaround, I often create a quick Zoom meeting in Zoom itself, copy the link, and then add it to my calendar invite. It would be great if Zoom had smoother integration with calendars like Outlook or Google Calendar to streamline this process. Similar to the integration between Google Calendar and Google Meet, having everything in one environment would be much more convenient for scheduling meetings.
Zoom should also include features like the automatic transcribing of conversations. It allows you to record the video of a meeting, but it doesn't have the ability to automatically transcribe the conversation into text. Sometimes, I have issues with using the app on different browsers, like Safari on Mac.
I often use a highlighting feature in Slack Huddles, which makes it easier to point someone in someone else's screen share. Zoom should include a highlighting feature like in Slack Huddles. The solution is not very useful for chat and lacks highlighting functionality.

Zoom is a fantastic tool. That said, there are always areas where it could improve. Excessive software updates can sometimes disrupt my experience. Zoom should consider a more transparent update schedule and allow users to opt for manual updates if they prefer stability over the latest features. Enhanced security measures could be a priority to safeguard against potential breaches and ensure user privacy. Customization options for the user interface and more advanced moderation tools are also areas for potential growth. Addressing these issues and listening to user feedback can make it even more user-friendly and secure, ensuring its continued success in the future.
The platform's feature for screen sharing needs improvement. We should be able to pause it while checking emails or messages in a meeting room, similar to Webex.
I think Zoom should be introduced for the phone because we can use it on its own. I guess graphic design or the user experience they provide can be changed. The design could be changed. I find it kind of difficult to use Zoom, especially with clients and co-workers, friends and family who do not like to use Zoom on their phones because it's hard or difficult compared to a laptop. One of the main concerns is the difficulty of using it on your mobile device.
It would be interesting if Zoom could be improved in the areas of software development such as project management and code debugging. The next version should include features like conflict resolution and Version Control. It would be great if there was a way to Zoom in on a specific part of the image and then make changes to that area that would be interesting. It's excellent software in general, with new updates and new features integrated, it would make the software much more complete.

It would be great if Zoom could continue to enhance all of its features to keep up with other solutions on the market. The free version of Zoom could be improved and offer more functionality. We would also like to have whiteboard and drawing functionality.
It was similar to password-based security when connecting to anyone. When a large number of people join in, there is a lot of noise. Random people become accustomed to receiving these invitations. They can also join without invitations, as they used to. As a result, there was a lot of noise earlier. Right now, I'm not dealing with that problem. But, in and out, there may be a few security web issues with Zoom. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but connectivity frequently drops when we are connected to Zoom compared to other logins or chat boxes. We are dealing with that issue. The voice quality could improve, and there are issues with the background. I believe the background has changed in the last two to three months, or even in the last year. In Teams, we have the ability to change our own backgrounds. We can get a background that is unique to us. I believe Zoom does not yet support this feature. Or, if it is enabled, it is not functioning properly. Its background does not function properly. Noise cancellation should be available. Both noise cancellation and voice cancellation should be included. The number of people who attend the interviews or webinars, combined with those who join in suddenly, creates a lot of chaos. That can be minimized. Background options, such as customized backgrounds, should also be provided.

Additional security would be welcome; an extra layer, whether it's an additional log-in requirement or something on the servers. There is always the possibility of meetings being hijacked or encryption going to China. It would also be helpful to have more control over who attends meetings. An additional feature I'd like to see would be a whiteboard which would be very productive for some of our meetings.

In some cases, I am not able to have a special background during the conversation. It could be because my device is not powerful enough, but I am not able to share a properly designed background. I am having problems setting up my virtual background. It is very easy to set up a virtual background during the conversation with Microsoft Teams, and that's why I like Microsoft Teams, but with Zoom, I find it difficult. I am not able to set up my virtual background very easily. They can look into this area and then see how to improve it. It is just for meetings and conversations. It does not have any collaboration or integration with other software that we are using. When you use Microsoft solutions, you can work with a lot of things. You can define your folders. In Office 365, you have folders, and you can use Word, Excel, etc. During your discussion, you can have a structure to keep your files related to your team organized, but Zoom is just for conversation.
My only concern in Zoom is the stigma associated with being a Chinese product. However, it has been acquired by the US government or a US counterpart has taken over it. There is not any issue with respect to data security. This being said, there is a little bit of apprehension when it comes to the data security aspect. It's better if they give a public statement that we are compliant with the GDPR requirements. It will be helpful for them in promoting their solution in a much better way. The internet infrastructure in India is not as good as in other places, such as the USA. Zoom could benefit by optimizing the connection to allow better operation of the solution under low bandwidth. Management of the latency time will give them an edge for data calls over other products. If I want to do a recording quickly, the way we should be able to do it should be slightly easier for the author. For example, if you are conducting a program and you are hosting it with a trainer that is subcontracted to your organization. In this case, the trainer, when you're giving me access to Zoom, I am using Zoom as the bridge to train your audience. In such a situation, as an author, or trainer, should have the facility to record it myself, I should be able to gain a copy of my training session for later usage or for a review. If they could add some feature to accomplish this it would be helpful. It would be very motivating for the trainers and auditors to do self-reviews and then later on they can review themself for improvement areas to work on. When I take a look at my own recording, I can have a better idea of how to improve for the next session or training program.

We sometimes have difficulties connecting, but I never know if it's an issue with Zoom or the network. I would say it's Zoom because we have been working quite a lot from home. However, I would generally say I have not experienced that many issues with Zoom. I'm satisfied.
It's hard for me to find where the button is in order to start a call. The setup could be a bit simpler. That's it. Everything else is pretty simple. I'd like for there to be more integrations possible in the future. If there was an easy way to share files, that would be ideal. They could improve their permission settings a little bit.
Troubleshooting on Zoom can be complicated. You can get a message: "I can't find your camera." It worked yesterday but it doesn't work today. The problem is that the camera is not available in Windows. It requires Windows troubleshooting skills. Zoom uses what Windows offers and Windows fails to offer the camera. The same holds for audio. If you switch to a different headphone in the middle of a meeting, Zoom can't find it because it's a Windows problem. It usually requires canceling the call, fixing the problem and calling again.

Non-technical support should be improved, such as that involving invoicing. I cannot think of anything offhand to improve regarding services. I would like to see avatars included in the next release.
One issue I have is that there is no indicator on chats to let you know whether a message has been read so you're never sure if it's been seen. They could implement something like Whatsapp with the two check marks. I also think that the integration with Microsoft is not as good as it was with Jabber. It's not the end of the world but it could be better. In a similar vein, I think that when it comes to document sharing the integration could be improved.
We have had some quality and lagging issues with video regardless of connection quality. We would experience things like poor audio quality or a choppy connection, but that was with older versions of Zoom.

The synchronization could be improved. However, synchronization is as much a connectivity issue as a software one. If they can somehow introduce a compression algorithm that could reduce the throughput necessary, that would probably alleviate a lot of the issues of the data of the network connection. However, overall, I think it's pretty good. I like lean products. Zoom also has an issue with logins. For some reason, especially with institutional accounts, it is common to get kicked out and verification processes don't work all the time. This does depend on which device you have, what kind of operating system you are in, and if you switch operating systems. The migration of your account is actually pretty difficult and it is something that they should look at. The transferability between different environments is super important.
Zoom could be more secure. In one of the meetings, we found out the meeting was automatically getting recorded. That's not good. There are certain things that could definitely be avoided.

In terms of connectivity, we've had issues, specifically this week. There were several instances where we couldn't connect into a meeting just on video and then couldn't even dial-in. Something was not working. It was like that for a good two days the last time it happened. We had to work around the issue. From a professional use point of view, it really just needs to work more solidly. It's not more features that they need. Rather, they could increase the stability and solve some of the sync problems they have with video and audio.

I find while using Zoom sometimes there is a lot of disturbance while on the call. There is a lot of network issues, and sometimes the screen freezes, and you have no way of figuring out what went wrong. You have to restart the computer all over again, or you lose some of the words that someone was saying during the meeting, such as what the person is trying to say in the midst of that conversation. Additionally, there have been times it has disconnected and was not able to start. The solution should be more user-friendly. I should not have to reboot and go through these steps to have a solution. I have not seen any internet connection issues. It seems to be automatically right inside the system that is the issue and this is what I have heard. These are all minor issues but they should be taken care of. I would like to see better architecture from an end-user perspective. it should be easy to use and user-friendly because there are some places that are difficult to find or to navigate. It is difficult to figure out where to go for certain features within the application. If it had better navigation users would get things done faster.
There are some features that are lacking. For example, sometimes, I want to share some pictures in the chat, and, in Zoom, you can't do that. That's the one item I'm missing. You can do that in Microsoft Teams with no problem. It's something I'd like to do in Zoom. I'd like integration with Outlook to set my meetings. As it is, right now, I have to go to the Zoom app to do that, and after that, export it to Outlook. It should be simpler. Maybe there is a secret I am missing. I'm not sure if it is possible in Zoom, however, in Cisco Webex, you can do the online translation of what the people are saying. That could be a good solution for people that actually don't speak English. For example, I speak Spanish. English is my second language. It would be helpful to have an in-app translation.

I use Zoom not so much for business, due to the fact that the problem with Zoom is the restriction that you have where there are only 45 minutes allowed for a conference, and then you had to log out and start a new meeting. They should remove any restriction of time. Sometimes the time that you planned for the meeting is not enough. Sometimes it goes more than an hour, an hour and 10 minutes. That said, they may have already fixed this issue. When you start the Zoom meeting, at first, it didn't start directly, the meeting. It'd go to the web browser, then it asks you to open the zoom application. After it opens, then you can start. That it's a little bit too much of a problem for beginners. It would be easier and more user-friendly if you can go directly to the meeting without the hassle of starting up and waiting. It could just be a bit more user-friendly. The problem originally was that when Zoom started, they had most of the market. The problem that they had, is that with the COVID pandemic, a lot of people started using conferencing solutions and you had a paid version and a free version. The paid version had more features than the free version. That was confusing for people. They said, “okay, why do I have to pay for certain features?” A lot of people I know looked for free versions and there were other free versions. For example, I use Whereby also, and Whereby does all the things that Zoom can do.
One thing that Zoom can improve is the chat. You can send messages to a specific person without messaging everyone. But everyone sees the whole chat if the administrator lets them see the chat. Maybe they could add an option to let you open a private conversation on the side with a person. And for example, let's say you are chatting with another person and you want to select two or three more people to have a private chat. Zoom could add a feature that lets you create a breakout room in the chat where you can collaborate. I think that would work fine because it's like being in an office where you can also start some other conversations. Even though there isn't a speaker in front of you talking, you can also have some further discussions with the coworkers at the same time. But none of the tools has that feature that I know of, or if they do, I haven't used it. Zoom could also maybe add some integrated storage that could be allocated according to your requirements, or it could be a subscription that you pay for. And the interface could possibly use some fancier colors or a more modern look. Sometimes everything on the screen is in black, but you can change the background, and that's good. But for example, the aspect of the screen is old-fashioned on Zoom. The design, screens, and layouts of the forms could all use an overhaul. If you have software that looks much better than the competitor, maybe it could be positioned better than the leader, probably, perhaps because you have your experience, I'll say. An end-user may be suitable. So, as I said, for example, you could also be in a conversation. And Zoom could add some integrated note-taking features. So when you are listening to a speaker, you can jot something down really quickly, or if you're the speaker, you can have some notes to help you with your presentation so you don't forget to say something. It would also be helpful if you could record the session yourself. Only the administrator can record the meeting not all the parties in the meeting. But I think it may not be possible because of the bandwidth, I guess.

The interface could be more user-friendly. I am only referring to my limited personal experience. This should not present an issue for an experienced user. It's a little bit hard for me to type the numbers, as we mostly use Teams, meaning our experience is lacking. I have used the solution on several occasions, although not too many. This difficulty could, perhaps, be chalked up to my lack of experience.
When you have a large group of people on Zoom, the focus becomes hazy. When there are larger groups, people can become easily distracted. When you have 10 people and three or four of them are primarily engaged in the conversation, the rest of the group has ventured or wandered off. I am not sure if it's a complaint. It's simply a fact. I would like to see better video quality, especially when it's being used by a large group of people using it. I'm not aware of any file transfer capabilities with Zoom. It would be useful to be able to share files with my colleagues. There are some things that we require that Zoom does not have.
There was a situation not long ago when there were some security fears. Some users had somebody else take control of their calls. They might have addressed these issues now, but the security needs to continue to be upgraded. There are certain ways you can build channels for clients and opportunities in Teams that would be a benefit to add to Zoom. I have been using Teams more than Zoom because it has a lot more capabilities for sales and communication, building, and working with the team.

The solution can improve by having the option to be able to lock the primary speaker on high definition the entire time. Additionally, it would be a benefit to have easy Zoom room-like features for individuals using lightboards. There should be quick invitations and integration with Slack and Outlook. In an upcoming release, I would like to have a push-button screen capture of what I am doing. I do not want to record the whole process, but I want a push-button screen capture. For example, if we are doing a PowerPoint or lightboard and I have edited it and I want to capture the change, having a push-button that records it to my laptop would be a large advantage.

I cannot recall coming across any missing features. It works well enough. I've never had any issues with the product itself. There were some security issues early on, however, they have fixed the problem, and now it is fine. The solution could always use better performance.
The technical support is very bad. If one is using Zoom SDK for building up his internal tool, then the support he can expect on a Mac OS is very bad. There will not be support for the latest version of the Xcode and development involvement. There are many challenges and integration is difficult. These are some of the issues which have been relayed to me by certain developers. There is an issue with the integrations with custom applications. If, say, I am using Zoom SDK for customizing a product, I would encounter difficulty in integrating it with one of my native products. The technical expertise and documentation provided is very poor and that won't help the developers integrate everything smoothly. I have encountered certain difficulties with Zoom screen-sharing and multi-use of sharing. There should exist the ability to share for multiple users.

The solution needs to have a feature that allows you to take over another person's screen. right now, that's not possible. This is important for our purposes due to the act that we are often using the solution to troubleshoot issues for our clients. If we could just take over their screen and go in and fix issues, it would make troubleshooting infinitely easier. The solution should also make it easier to be able to share material with each other during the meetings. If the flexibility could improve, so there aren't disruptions during meetings, that would be great. Occasionally we get a frozen page. However, that may be network or connectivity issues on our end.

I'm not sure if the solution has areas of improvement just yet. I'm still new to the service. If there are quality issues, I find that it is usually a bandwidth problem, and not related to Zoom itself. There's a limit as to how many people you can have on a call. They should open this up a bit to include more, if possible. It would be helpful if the solution had more features for users to take advantage of. The paid version is quite expensive. The only thing that I can't get to work well is putting one of those little fancy wallpaper picture screens behind me during meetings so that I don't show my house or the room I'm attending from. Everyone is basically working remotely at this point. It would help to just have a neutral professional background for meetings that's easy to add. It might be helpful if there was a tutorial to walk people through the process of adding a background. It would also be great if they offered more recommended backgrounds on hand to choose from.
The solution shouldn't charge so much for their services. I'm always in favor of a lower price. That said, I find there's a big gap between the free version and the professional version. When I looked at what it would cost to be able to get the full version, I said, "Gee, that's too much." If there was something in between the free version and the least expensive paid version, I probably would have paid for it. I would've gone for that. They could improve security more. They should make it a little bit easier to use, in terms of screen-sharing. One of the problems I have is when I go into a screen-sharing mode, I don't see what the other people see. If I could have my screen synced with what was being shared and me, that would be better.

It seems that lately it takes a while to connect and a long time to load. It would be helpful if that was a little more instantaneous. And then I guess sometimes the sound quality can be a bit of an issue. I'm not super technical, but it really would be great if the quality could be improved. I'd also like to see the ability to receive alerts when the product is offline, and notifications about upcoming meetings.
For those who cannot purchase the ID, they have a time limit of 40 minutes. They should consider increasing the time limits for free users. I am from India, and here we have students who are using Zoom for their college classes or science classes. If they would increase the video times then it would increase their market size. Once they have more time, they can use it more often and could possibly decide to purchase the paid version. The backgrounds are a bit dull. I would like to see some improvements made to the backgrounds that are available.

It is difficult to collaborate. You have to book a meeting first before being able to do anything. We have had experiences where the meeting has frozen. We had to shut it down and get back on again to keep going. Zoom has privacy issues and also stability issues. I would like to see integrations into other applications. It would be nice to have multiple people be able to collaborate on the same screen.

It would be useful, for my purposes, to be able to run a meeting like a webinar where the solution doesn't show all of the people on the actual call. It would be great if it had the flexibility to allow people to "hide" themselves from the meeting, or to give the person running the meeting the capability of choosing who could be seen, or not.
I would say the polls need improvement. When you're using the video, there's a little dialogue box that pops up. It's annoying to everybody who uses Zoom. It would be nice if it had some more features for driving interaction and engagement during meetings. However, they need to make sure the dialog box is up there in a more convenient way. How they have the gallery aligned when someone is sharing a screen isn't ideal right now. If there were more options on how to arrange it, would be ideal. The ability to make it easier for poll creation and usage would be helpful. If I make a poll, I want it to be accessible to all my different meetings, not just that one meeting. Right now, it's a lot of extra work due to the fact that I have to continuously re-create it every time I need it.
Zoom needs to address the privacy issues I've heard about. There have been multiple breaches that have made the news. That would be something to address.

They need to improve the background feature, to be able to set a background without interfering with the current background. For example, if your home needs some tidying up you don't want people to see your things. Currently, you can change the background but it's a lot of work. If they have to ability to cut the background that would be much better.

There is something called Zoom bombing. Users can misuse the product if other users don't enable privacy settings on their meetings. What happened recently was there were 200-300 participants with the host being unaware. The host had not enabled the proper privacy or security settings before initiating the meeting, so unauthenticated users were able to jump on and participate without actually being part of any group. The privacy settings need to be more apparent, otherwise anyone can wander into meeting rooms and disrupt them. First-time users should get a mandatory walk-through or some sort of mandatory training before installing or using the software. It would help protect them and help them understand how to use the product effectively before jumping into their first meeting.
There are sometimes too many parallel meetings going on and the system gets overloaded, somebody drops out or we have to start over again. That's something that could be improved. I'd like to see 100% reliability in the solution. I also find that the controls are a little awkward, but that's a minor point. It's really the consistency and the reliability that are the big issues.
The time limitations for the free version should be increased from 40 minutes. We do have an account but not enough to go around. During the screen sharing, there is an option to zoom in. If they could add a feature where you could just drag if you wanted to zoom in or when you want to zoom out, that would be great.

The one thing I don't like is that they now require you to have a password for every meeting and when I'm just dealing with my staff, where I want to have a conversation but not necessarily a meeting. I know this was implemented due to security concerns, but I don't necessarily like it or need it for everything. That's the only thing I've come across that I didn't really care for, especially in cases where I'm not really using it for a video conference, but for a conference line.
Security is the biggest concern issue right now, otherwise, we cannot use this platform in our organization. That situation will affect our meeting and training infrastructure. Our use is not only communication but also sharing useful documents and ideas. They should improve the sharing file features from accessing the internal network. If we cannnot share our documents through this meeting, our meeting productivity will decrease dramatically. We need these features. We need features like a dashboard type for the whiteboard. After moving to the breakout room, they can write or create some outputs on the whiteboard. However, after moving back to the main room, they cannot share the outputs. If it is a text, we might paste and copy but it is not user-friendly.

I would like to see them develop end-to-end encryption, like WhatsApp. That would improve the security of the software. Also, suppose ten people are participating and talking. I can only see four people at a time. So the number of video frames could be better. Finally, file sharing and formation of groups in this software would be a real improvement.
The quality of this solution is depending on the internet connection, and as such, can sometimes be unstable. There are some security issues with Zoom, which is something that needs to be resolved. The inclusion of some more advanced security features would be an improvement.
It is difficult to see and control whether you're muted or not, so the interface should be improved. When people are messaging, often they accidentally message the entire group rather than a single person. This is something else that can be made more clear. Security is a concern with this product, so I would not do anything commercial using it. The need to work on their reputation as far as security goes.

Zoom should provide online storage where we can send and share documents with people in our meeting. Zoom is not totally free, which is one of the reasons that I don't choose to use it. I found it very confusing to set up a meeting. I was only able to host meetings that were 40 minutes long, which was not enough time. That duration was not long enough for the topics that we needed to cover. I would like to see a chat function for messaging outside of video conferencing. Privacy needs to be improved because when you download a meeting transcript after it is complete, even the private chat of other users is visible.

The security needs to be enhanced. A third-party security audit needs to be completed, and the privacy clauses in their contracts need to be changed. Zoom is an immature product that is not yet stable.
I would like to see support for transferring files. Sometimes we discuss things in a meeting and once the meeting ends, I would like to be able to consult my electronic notes and then send a file later on. This happens when I am not in the office when a meeting takes place and I would like to send a file to one or more of the participants later on in the day. If the web conference is a training session then it would be helpful if the instructor could send materials to the other participants in the meeting.
I would like to have a local call-in number for India because as it is now, there is no call-in support for participants in India. Technical support is in need of improvement. Better integration with our service desk, helpdesk, and product management applications is something that they need to focus on. Ideally, Zoom would be a single app for not just video conferencing but also in-house messaging, in conjunction with the service desk tools, to field requests as we do in Slack.
I would like to see a "raise hand" feature added to Zoom that gets the presenter's attention. Having easier access to recorded meetings, being able to download them fast, and playing them back would be helpful.

When a lot of people join a meeting it is not possible to shrink the pictures and show them on a single screen. Instead, we have to scroll to another screen. It would be nice if we could resize the frame.
The only limitation is that when you're sharing your screen, it's only dedicated to one particular window, not multiple windows, as opposed to Teamviewer where you can have the entire environment and access the laptop rather than sharing a window.
I like this solution as such. Maybe taking some steps over reducing bandwidth usage in case of video conference could be good. Also, filtering noise in case of audio.
Zoom helps businesses and organizations bring their teams together in a frictionless environment to get more done. Our easy, reliable cloud platform for video, phone, content sharing, and chat runs across mobile devices, desktops, telephones, and room systems. Message me to learn more about how Zoom can help your business or organization Visit zoom.com and follow @zoom_us.
There is room for improvement in Zoom, though I cannot pinpoint specifics. Issues such as stability, particularly when many people are involved, may arise due to bandwidth rather than Zoom itself. However, Zoom could benefit from enhancements to manage large participant volumes.
The solution should include the integration of AI-based tools that could transcript or record the meetings.
The tool could be more user-friendly, especially for finding options to present screens.
Maybe the UI could be improved a bit. Plus, it would be helpful if all the chat history was maintained, even between calls. If I'm chatting during a call, I'd like that chat to be available later. Zoom have some control over the number of users who can interact at a single time, but I'm not sure about the specifics.
The pricing model for Zoom was not very friendly.
Zoom should introduce AI features that allow you to understand a person's emotions.
The product's stability needs improvement.
The solution could be cheaper.
Considering the main function of Zoom, it should make the video functioning part a little bit more friendly.
For me, the only thing I'd suggest is to make the pricing more affordable.
They could address the product's limitation of the free version, particularly the 40-minute time constraint on meetings.
The video quality should be better. Sometimes when there are updates at the backend, Zoom won't respond properly during that time.
Zoom could improve by increasing the time limitation in the free version.
The updating feature of Zoom needs to be improved.
Zoom lacks dashboards, I think more could be included.
If anything, the updates could be less frequent.
The chat functionality in Zoom could improve.
If whiteboarding is not available, it would be beneficial. I'm not sure if it exists. If I can do some whiteboard sessions, that would be great. Whiteboarding would allow me to utilize the screen to draw something, explain, and write something.
The interface could be more user-friendly.
Zoom could improve by having more dashboards.
What could be better or what could be improved in Zoom is allowing us to log in and connect to people through Zoom phone. In some countries, they allow it, but here in India, they don't. There are a number of times people are outside, and it would have been good if I can connect with them using Zoom Phone.
We sometimes have difficulties connecting, but I never know if it's an issue with Zoom or the network. I would say it's Zoom because we have been working quite a lot from home. However, I would generally say I have not experienced that many issues with Zoom. I'm satisfied.
Zoom's drawing tools could be better integrated.
It's hard for me to find where the button is in order to start a call. The setup could be a bit simpler. That's it. Everything else is pretty simple. I'd like for there to be more integrations possible in the future. If there was an easy way to share files, that would be ideal. They could improve their permission settings a little bit.
I can't speak to any aspect that needs improvement.
A voice chatting feature could be added to Zoom, and its screen sharing feature could be improved, though some users will find more value in these changes more than I would.
When the firewall is turned on, there have been issues with congestion that affects performance. This is the case even with a strong internet connection.
Platforms always require improvements. Zoom could be more flexible for individuals that do not have the economic capacity.
In the next release, I would like to see an easily accessible bandwidth feature so that you can see how much data you've used on a particular call.
Additional end-user and client features could be added. There are features available on Microsoft Teams that are not available on Teams. I would like to be able to push out the polling or voting questionnaire.
One area that can be improved is the chat settings. Perhaps add a feature so you can tag someone when you write something, and that someone be notified that you wrote a message to him or her. I'd like to see more user interface.
Zoom's user interface could be improved. For example, it could have bigger buttons for elderly people.
Zoom's audio quality could be improved. I feel like Teams is more reliable because sometimes the audio is patchy on Zoom, whereas I've never had a problem with Teams.
Zoom could be improved by adding more third-party integrations. They should also work on their virtual backgrounds. I think these could be more professional and creative.
Zoom could be improved by adding more dashboards.
Zoom often does fixes or checks the vulnerability of their solution. However, they could increase security.
The interface could be more user friendly.
I have had some performance issues in GPU lately. If Zoom added the feature of Zoom Phone so that I can use it as a phone, it would be much better.
Zoom could improve by having more tools.
They can make it easier to use and more intuitive. Ease of use is always a key for selling a product.
If Zoom could be more secure, that would be better. Security is always a highly sensitive matter for everyone today.
I think Zoom is not secure.
My company uses the Zoom security setting that requires the host to admit users. The host often forgets to do that, so you sometimes have a lot of people sitting out there. It would be nice if Zoom made it obvious that somebody is in the waiting room. Also, Zoom could add the ability to have multiple users share screens.
I would like to see something like a virtual board or conference room where participants are seated around a virtual table, and pictures of them sitting on the chair or an avatar that the user can choose and control within that virtual world. This would allow the participants to somehow move around, talk to others privately just like you'd meet someone at the office, or talk to colleagues before a conference or board meeting starts. Being able to edit Google Docs in Zoom would be helpful. For example, co-editing a file with a colleague using Zoom would be nice.
The solution fulfills our needs at this time. I can't think of any features that are lacking.
We would like to have the ability to connect people using phone numbers so that non-Zoom users can join conversations. For example, on my side, I can be using Zoom but on the other side, the person is using their phone. Integration with Microsoft products such as Outlook would be great.
Although I have not experienced this issue directly, I have heard that there are a lot of security issues with Zoom. Security is very important to us and I have read in the news, there have been a few security issues with them, which worries us in general. We have to update this solution to use it for business purposes soon. We have to check it with an independent security product to verify its safety. I don't know if Zoom has a mobile application, however, if they don't, they should consider developing one.
There's no middle ground between free and paid.
The security needs to be improved. The ability to encrypt communications would be nice.
Recently, most of the people in my organization have not been able to dial in using the telephone number and have been required to join meetings using their devices. We are concerned about security when using this solution.
I would like to be able to have multiple users open and collaborate on a document at the same time.
In the future, I would like to see remote access control for other computers. Administrators need a lot of training.
It takes time to acclimate end users to the product. It cannot replace direct, face-to-face human interaction.
It is important for us to have Zoom integration with our Active Directory environment.
I like this solution as such. Maybe taking some steps over reducing bandwidth usage in case of video conference could be good. Also, filtering noise in case of audio.
