I am more on the sales side of the business, so I do not use it that much. However, companies with more than fifty employees already need such a tool, especially if they have more than twenty-five clients and a spread-out business.

Remote control and massive deployment for fixing bugs and issues on multiple computers and systems at once are highly valued. The ability to work on printers and everything can be done remotely, which enhances functionality. The automated compliance reporting feature is also appreciated by our customers.

Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance could improve areas related to the management of updates, especially concerning new operating systems like Windows 11 and the deployment of applications, particularly Microsoft Office.

The lack of images for system deployments is challenging, particularly with the significant number of servers involved in the deployment process.

We are still determining whether to transition to Windows 11 due to uncertainty about its quality. However, adaptation will likely become necessary within the next one or two years. Thus, we are exploring Microsoft Intune as a potential substitute for Quest KACE for better license management, asset management, and its impact on the license cycle for agents in the management system.

They could enable new methodologies for Microsoft deployment. Also, there could be an MDM feature to manage smartphones and mobile devices.

The platform offers efficient stability.

We use Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance for pushing any non-Windows based patches such as Adobe patches, installing new software or an approved set of software, or upgrading to a new release of Windows. We are using its latest version, which they have released recently. 

We utilize the package management feature the most. We also use it for getting the inventory. Companies like us don't have an inventory or asset management system per se. A lot of companies, for instance, use SCCM as their asset management tool. We are using Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance for asset management, which is a good feature.

The feature that I really like is to be able to upgrade to the Windows management systems or Windows version. It is very seamless, and I have found it fairly good.

Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance can improve by incorporating AI and machine learning into the solution.

I have been using Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance for approximately five years.

We use this solution for inventory package deployment. Additionally, we deploy this solution on the private cloud.

The inventory in Quest KACE Asset Management Appliance is very valuable. 

There are multiple types of desktops and laptops that are distributed asset management that we're using to consolidate all the data in a single tool portal. We are also using it to deploy the Windows patches.

Feature-wise, I think it's more to do with the usability. It's pretty simple and it's got a very low learning curve, so that helps a lot. Feature-wise, things work pretty well as it's provided a lot of information available on the guides and the manuals and things work as per the description.

We use the solution for IT service desk management and asset management.

The first thing I don't like about KACE is that it needs to have a proper service desk. The categories and the command section do not reflect the users and the permanent users porting commands on updating. There is an issue and delay in loading the commands.

We also want a proper structure for infrastructure management. Also, the AI chatbot and user template options are missing.
