Optimizes business processes, is user-friendly and flexible
The software is user-friendly, flexible, and can be used with various data sources. It provides various reports and charts that help organizations to identify areas for improvement and optimize their processes. ABBYY Timeline is a great choice for business process analysts, process owners, and IT professionals who are looking for a tool to help them analyze and optimize their processes. The process flow/diagram is the most valuable feature, as it offers a helpful visual simulation that allows users to see what's happening in the grand scheme of things and then drill down into specific tasks and processes to see where the bottlenecks are. For those companies that look for the low-hanging fruit in terms of process automation and operational excellence, this is the tool you need to succeed.

A stable solution with a comparison feature that helps people to understand and visualize the impact of a particular task
UiPath Process Mining is as lightweight a tool as it is new. It's not able to handle a lot of logs in one go at high speed. The solution's speed is fairly good, but it should be further increased to make it more powerful to process large amounts of logs. Logs should be as much as possible. We have taken one year's and sometimes two years' logs to understand the behavior. We are not here solving small problems because a lot of money is invested. I have observed that handling a large amount of logs slows down the solution's performance. This area is improving because we are now observing a new version of UiPath Process Mining with improved speed. As a developer, I'll be happy to see that happening more quickly, and I am sure the solution is heading there.

Pros

"ABBYY Timeline provides various reports and charts that help us identify areas for improvement and optimize our business processes."
"The most valuable features of UiPath Process Mining are the ease of use, it's provided us with good indicators of which processes can be automated. There are lots of non-value-add activities which are being done that have helped us identify. If we apply lead principles we are receiving a lot of benefits without automating. You are actually getting a lot of benefits even without automating."
"The most valuable feature is that activities are available to us just by clicking the box, so it doesn't require much time to make changes for future requirements."
"I find the root cause analysis and the reference models to be valuable features of UiPath Process Mining."
"For us, the most important feature of UiPath Process Mining is something called Document Understanding. We have found it to be extremely valuable, given that the current situation we have right now is that it's not just pure automation of manual and repetitive tasks. What we're doing is more along the lines of what you could call "intelligent" automation. Document Understanding plays a great role in this type of process automation because it helps us in automating the reading of documents better and, therefore, helps to automate intelligence for our customers."
"Their support is really good, and it is a stable product."
"It empowers employee decision-making. It helps them locate bottlenecks and remediate items."
"I rate the solution's initial setup a nine out of ten...I rate the solution a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is not stable and ten is stable."
"UiPath's human-in-the-loop features are helpful."

Cons

"There are a couple of new features available in Timeline that still need more time to mature."
"The product has to be simplified because there are some facets that are just too complex. It's not easy for everyone to understand. You have to do training on ProcessGold and then you can use it."
"Setting up UiPath is relatively complex. It potentially involves multiple business units. First, you need to set up the connectors. If you want to analyze enterprise performance, you will have to do enterprise connectors, which means you must deal with different system owners, security, and things like that. That can get complicated."
"An area for improvement in UiPath Process Mining is that its pricing is too expensive, particularly when compared to Power Automate."
"The product could be better integrated with simulations."
"Process Mining still has to mature somewhat."
"UiPath Process Mining could improve by limiting the number of updates."
"We may need additional features for processing data."
"It should be more intuitive and easy to work with. There should be more ways of creating filters, and it should be easy to make our own customized dashboards. Currently, if I want to create a dashboard similar to the one we have in AppOne but with different attributes, it is very difficult. There are activities, but I don't want activities. I want other attributes. Its user interface is not very intuitive. You need to play around with it. I have been playing around with the UiPath Process Mining tool for almost two years, and now I feel confident in handling it. It is a difficult tool."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"It's reasonable. It provides you with all the basic features that somebody would expect."
"UiPath Process Mining is not very expensive, and that is where it beats Celonis."
"Our licensing for UiPath Process Mining and the various tools such as Studio Orchestrator is all paid for on an annual basis. However, with the Document Understanding feature, the licensing is per page. So if we're going to read some 20,000-30,000 pages, that becomes one separate licensing stack."
"There is an annual subscription. It could be cheaper in my opinion, but it is still more affordable than other OEMs. This solution probably would not be ideal for people in the startup environment."
"There is a standard licensing fee, which is charged for the products, but it is very module-driven and depends on your utilization or your team size. Compared to that of other providers, the cost is average or below average. So, from a pricing perspective, it's not very high."
"The pricing is on the higher side."
"The licenses are flexible, they start once they are activated. The license is purchased annually. The cost of the solution is very good compared to other similar solutions."
"UiPath's licensing is based on how many documents we process using this solution."
