Efficient automation with substantial ROI and innovative UI enhancements
We were automating customer experience workflows for the contact center, including systems like CRM, service desk solutions, CCaaS solutions, and pulling data from ERPs It allowed us to reduce the level of effort to complete contact processes from one hundred fifty seconds to ninety seconds,…

Way more efficient for debugging than other tools but the UI is complicated
The UI is more complicated than other tools. In Power Automate, it doesn't even feel like you are working because the tool does the job for you. But in the solution, there are studio, process, and object interfaces and you have to decode your own objects. The free objects that are predefined are not good compared to other tools. There is still a lot of work to do on the solution's intelligent automation part.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Appian RPA is super easy to use, offering low code, no code capabilities."
"The integration has improved a lot in terms of SAP, and other screens."
"Being able to create an object and use it for multiple processes has been very useful for us."
"We find the stability and the ease of reusing code design valuable."
"Mostly we use the Design Studio to develop the automation. It's great. We put them into deployment and have the automated process running. It's essentially the Design Studio for Blue Prism and the entire methodology of delivery that is the most useful or valuable to us."
"We have integrated the product with our centralized infra-monitoring tool, which gives us real-time insights into BOT health and also the health of the underlying resources."
"We've started to use some of the new features such as translation, cognitive, and we are finding them useful. We are also finding API integrations very useful."
"This is a scalable product."
"As a developer, I liked the layout and UI, specifically referring to testing. I was able to watch the process through stages."

Cons

"There are not any areas that need improvement off the top of my head."
"If that bot is running 24/7, we have to allocate people 24/7, 24 hours a day. The cost of support can be quite high."
"Blue Prism needs to provide better customer support because there are some bugs in the product that make implementation tricky. Blue Prism is designed more for operational than transactional processes. If Blue Prism incorporated a lot of IQ bots and cognitive processing, then it might be of better value at a lower cost. The issue of the cost of the tool needs to be addressed. To become a Blue Prism partner, it's costly. I think that this is one of the negative aspects of using Blue Prism."
"I have found that community support is lacking for this solution compared to competitors."
"I would like to see the vendor improve the efficiency of Blue Prism interaction with applications."
"The deployment of the bots should be much faster and more intuitive."
"They cannot do assisted automation. That is a drawback because that technology is very old now."
"Blue Prism could be more scalable."
"In Nigeria, I don't know what their marketing is like. However, they're losing market shares to other solutions. Most customers know UiPath more than Blue Prism."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Blue Prism is a bit higher priced compared to other payment-related or investment-related solutions. At the same time, it also provides more security than those solutions, specifically for the banking and insurance sectors."
"The licensing fees are low compared to other tools."
"With Blue Prism, there are no additional fees"
"Blue Prism is less expensive than some of the other RPA solutions."
"There is a one-time purchase fee for this solution."
"Blue Prism has a higher cost with respect to RPA enablement, particularly if you are trying to start with RPA."
"I chose Blue Prism because it is priced well. The pricing was right for me at that moment even though Automation Anywhere is better in other aspects."
