Offers enhancement in data accuracy with low-code requirements and easy onboarding
It's a scalable product. In our organization, we sometimes write a script once and reuse it several times, which improves workflow efficiency. Our team inputs the datasets one by one or in a batch mode into BotFarm and schedules them or calls individually as needed. For instance, if one individual has 15 or 20 forms that need to be scanned and logged immediately, it's possible to implement with BotFarm and its scheduling operations. The solution is ideal for small and medium-sized enterprises and can fit in for large enterprises as well, depending upon the use case. For instance, if 100 agents are working across different locations through a mobile app, all the data from the agents can be stored in a common repository and scheduled. BotFarm can be configured based on the architecture and business operations.

Offers integration of the document extraction service into SAP ALC, enabling the direct upload and extraction of details
I found that SAP Intelligent RPA can be somewhat unstable when using SAP GUI. When we upgraded from SAP GUI version 7.50 to version 7.70, we had to update our SAP Intelligent RPA screens even though the screens were the same. This was difficult and time-consuming. The one I would like to see is in context with the screens, if they are using the same SAP UI, and if it updates, it should not be changed. At least it should be able to identify the screen. There should be more of an error, like a proper error feature, in future releases. Sometimes, we don't understand why that automation is not learning what, like, where it is stuck, what the reason is, or what the criteria we are missing to add. A proper error message would be helpful.

Pros

"One of the most valuable features is the solution's simple automation regarding object cloning and strings variables."
"The most valuable feature is the interface, which helps to provide a good user experience."
"The most valuable features I have found to be the screen scraping and the integration with third-party solutions."
"The most important feature of BotFarm is web automation."
"The system is stable and very little maintenance is required, assuming the bots process is perfectly designed."
"BotFarm is an easy solution to use and the interface is better than older versions."
"What I like most about BotFarm is that it's one of the leading RPA products in the market. Very few products focus on robotics today, so I like that BotFarm offers a lot in terms of what general customers expect it to do."
"The solution seems to offer high stability. We haven't seen any bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze."
"The initial setup of SAP Contextor is easy."
"It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."
"Scalability is fine. It is pretty nice."
"Contextor is a good solution for a Citrix environment. It's the first with this tool. Other tools provide the same functionality, but not with the Citrix environment."
"The standout features of SAP Intelligent RPA are its flexibility and integration capabilities."
"It is remarkably easy to configure and code, and it doesn't require an extensive technical background or coding expertise."
"Most of the details are already in the help portal and SAP notes are available. It is well documented as part of the product support."
"The most valuable feature of SAP Contextor is that everyone is in one place in the program that I need."

Cons

"I have called customer service three times and the experience has not been good. They do not offer 24/7 support, which forces us to wait till the next working day to solve a problem."
"The licensing schemes could be more competitive. They need to be much more flexible in their pricing."
"I would like to have access to self-service support."
"We do have some troubles with the internal software commands, but we have been troubleshooting this bug to fix it."
"Normally we need to monitor the solution using an AWS console and the control room. We would like to have a standardized dashboard to see all the information in one place."
"An area for improvement in BotFarm is that the communication between the Control Room and the Bot Client Missions isn't utilized well. There's also the issue with PCI DSS compliance or certain regulations that require a set of configurations that are not fully supported by BotFarm. The product should be certified or designed according to the required regulations in the finance industry to make it better."
"The solution automation is incapable of interacting with our Pega software application development. It is based on the nested table concept and it is unable to read these tables. Several projects have been put on hold because of that."
"The OCR tool, the optical character recognition tool, could be more efficient."
"For potential features or improvements, one aspect I would suggest enhancing is the flexibility of the extraction process."
"The tool's licensing has been kind of a challenge...At the moment, the tool does not offer different licensing models to users."
"The initial setup is of medium complexity. It is neither too hard nor too simple. You need some background in SAP and an understanding of it."
"I would like to see a better capacity for unstructured data, for example, PDF, or text within images."
"I found that the SAP scripting of a program is easier than SAP Contextor."
"One way SAP Intelligent RPA could improve is by integrating built-in DI services for document processing."
"There should be more of an error, like a proper error feature, in future releases. Sometimes, we don't understand why that automation is not learning what, like, where it is stuck, or what is the reason like, or what is the criteria we are missing to add. So a proper error message would be helpful."
"SAP Contextor could improve by automating some processes."

"Its price is quite high as compared to other solutions, but it has a lot of features and good stability. They should reduce its price."
"It is too expensive and not worth the price."
"The pricing is fair."
"Automation Anywhere is more reasonable than Blue Prism and UiPath in terms of cost."
"We pay approximately $15,000 USD per year."
"An unattended bot license costs around $5,000, whereas an attended bot license costs roughly $1,500."
