Continuous learning has boosted onboarding efficiency and improved data‑driven hiring decisions
Coursera for Business is already a good platform providing top-notch content. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Regarding the video streaming platform, I have noticed that the quality of content decreases with internet connectivity issues or low range of internet; the video quality tends to drop. I believe that if they provided an option to download all the course content, then if candidates are not connected to the internet, they could access the courses without interruptions. They should also ensure high-quality content throughout. Additionally, I think there should be some free learning courses for candidates who cannot afford the fees that Coursera requires. This would help the community and the nation as candidates would be able to learn new technologies without having to pay for the courses. Furthermore, enhancement of the certificates is required; the certificate should come with hyperlinks to provide detailed reporting of candidate performance within the courses. Currently, Coursera for Business only provides a certificate with the candidate's name and the course taken, but it lacks detailed reporting. I think they should integrate this reporting into their certificates. These are a few features I would like to see in the future.

Facilitates professional development with comprehensive assessments and customizable learning materials
Pluralsight has something called Technology Quotient, TQ, which includes very good sessions. What's noteworthy is that, if I am unable to answer any question during an assessment, it shows which part of the video covers the answer. This makes it convenient as I don't have to search through the entire video. Additionally, the assessments are quite good, providing valuable feedback on areas that may require improvement.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Coursera for Business saves our time and money significantly."
"Coursera for Business saves our time by about 25 to 30% and our money by about 15 to 25% by replacing costly, time-consuming physical mentors with aligned online courses, bots, and assessments."
"With Coursera for Business, the certification completion rate has increased in our organization by 30 to 40 percent, external training costs have been reduced by 20 to 25 percent by replacing classrooms and vendor sessions, and onboarding readiness time has reduced from eight to ten weeks to five to six weeks for cloud roles."
"We find the courses with high ratings and popularity to be most valuable. If the content is applicable, we encourage team members to use it. Regarding skill assessment, I haven't used that feature much, but we've done a few trainings with evaluations, which have been helpful for learning."
"We are happy with the tool's skill assessment. It helps with skill enhancement, competency, and company development."
"The UI is user-friendly."
"The fact that I could pause the training and restart another day was convenient."
"The value is good because Pluralsight provides a common platform for all learning materials and is customizable to organizations' needs."
"The entire curriculum needs to be systematically organized into sections, allowing for a seamless resumption of learning."

Cons

"Regarding the video streaming platform, I have noticed that the quality of content decreases with internet connectivity issues or low range of internet; the video quality tends to drop."
"I would rate Coursera for Business a nine on a scale of one to ten. I chose a nine because it has structured enterprise upskilling, certifications, and analytics, but I deducted one point for the need for deeper integrations and a strong advanced reporting system."
"Regarding the video streaming platform, I have noticed that the quality of content decreases with internet connectivity issues or low range of internet; the video quality tends to drop."
"I think the assessments in Pluralsight are already good, but it would be helpful if there were explanations for incomplete questions or for which we couldn't provide a proper answer."
"The course quality was not very good for the information systems auditor and risk manager courses."
"Improving the platform's ability to accommodate user queries would be beneficial for further enhancement."
"The product needs to become mobile-based. The number of courses is less compared to Udemy and Coursera."
"The website is not up to date."
