Used for endpoint security, ransomware protection, virus protection, and server security
Intercept X Endpoint is deployed on the cloud in our organization. Previously, we had two ransomware attacks when we were using Kaspersky as an endpoint security. We didn't face any ransomware attacks after using Intercept X Endpoint for endpoint security. Intercept X Endpoint has simplified our malware detection. Since we have already implemented the policies in the cloud, all the malware is automatically detected. The solution also detects and removes new malware that can also come from the cloud AI engine. Integrating Intercept X Endpoint with our current security infrastructure was very easy. In my opinion, Sophos is a better solution because we are using Sophos endpoint security and network security. These two things sync with each other and monitor the packets and network traffic. No other vendor has simultaneous devices to check everything. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"The initial setup of ESET EDR_XDR is very simple, easy to deploy, and manage."
"The solution is easy to use."
"The base product and the anti-malware feature are most valuable."
"The threat analysis center is nice."
"This is really good because it's applicable to zero-day threats."
"Synchronization with the firewall is most valuable."
"The pricing is fair. It's not too costly for our small organization."
"Technical support from Sophos is rated as nine out of ten, which represents high quality."
"We find all features valuable. It has zero-day protection, which is the most valuable feature of Intercept X. We have Intercept X with EDR. EDR is a very important feature. It gives an idea about the source of a particular attack. An administrator gets to know everything, which helps in understanding the things that need to be done or protected in the organization. Based on this information, an administrator can decide what needs to open or allowed in the network. Without EDR, Intercept X is like an antivirus, and the administrator won't get to know the things going on at the organizational level. I recommend purchasing an EDR solution for every organization."
"Its AI algorithms provide excellent protection against attackers."

Cons

"ESET EDR_XDR needs to conduct more research and development and innovations in early detection of attacks."
"The solution could improve how it scours each website."
"There is room for improvement in terms of stability and updates."
"They might want to offer an MSP model for licensing, to offer the solution as a software as a service."
"The number one thing I would like is if their support could be a little faster and it would be a little easier to get a hold of support when you need them."
"I am not very satisfied with the product's reporting overall, and it needs improvement in this area."
"If we can lower the price, it will be fantastic because it will generate more revenue for us."
"The Data Loss Prevention module can be better. It should also have threat hunting capabilities."
"The solution is expensive, and it could be made cheaper."
"The customer service and support could be improved in regards to response time. It could be faster."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the solution’s pricing a six or seven out of ten.."
"We renew the license for one year at $10,000."
"The pricing is average for software like this, but you can purchase additional services if you wish."
"It's not bad, but compared to competitors, it's a little bit on the high side. The price could be more competitive."
"Licensing costs are not expensive."
"The cost of Sophos Intercept X is reasonable."
"Licensing is based on the number of users. They give a discount for editors who are considered as important members. From what I know, Sophos products are not expensive. If you have a license extension, you just need to contact the editor or partner to change the mode of licensing or extend the license to cover more people."
"Customers need to pay for a license for Intercept X Endpoint based on the number of users and servers they have. The pricing is considered normal and not overly expensive."
"The price of the solution is average compared to the market."
