Stable, scalable, and good interface
HCL Verse has a nice interface and it is a practical email solution. There are a diverse set of features, such as the search bar on top of the screens. The usability from the old applications to the new version has been very good. It was great that we were able to migrate applications from the older version to the new one.

The interface for the security and compliance center could be simplified. It changes frequently, which can make it somewhat difficult for admins to stay up-to-date on where specific settings are located. The compliance center modification or improvement of Office 365 needs to be introduced. The rest of the features feel acceptable to me. The reason it is not a ten is because of the complexity of managing the vast array of admin settings, which requires a specialized IT team. Even though it meets industry standards for decent security compliance such as SOC and HIPAA, the complexity of managing the admin settings needs to improve.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the mail server."
"HCL Verse has a nice interface and it is a practical email solution. There are a diverse set of features, such as the search bar on top of the screens."
"The cloud service and Skype are the most valuable features."
"Office 365 is very easy to use and it's fast, with functionalities that allow for seamless simulations, and the collaboration features, especially when working with technology sectors, are highly useful."
"Office 365 enhances productivity in the mining industry by aiding with data analysis; it is crucial for daily activities, providing support in making reports, presentations, and conducting data analysis."
"It's nice that it's an all-in-one solution and everything is all in one place."
"Since transitioning from a simple, normal Outlook to Office 365, there has been an increase in productivity due to the larger amount of space available to handle emails without needing to delete older ones."
"We have been using Office 365 for tagging critical communications and building communities of practice and centers of excellence."
"Office 365 is scalable and easy to integrate with APIs, which is very beneficial for the operations we conduct."
"Office 365 has excellent facilities, it's familiar, and it's easy to comprehend when sending messages."

Cons

"Security is very important to us, so improvements to this functionality are welcome."
"The solution could improve by allowing us to use a color that we want in the editing boxes."
"In terms of improvement, it should have tutorials when you first have the opportunity to use it, to be able to really learn it."
"We have had some connectivity issues."
"I rate the support of Office 365 a four out of five."
"The one big problem with the solution is if you are presenting in Teams and someone puts their hand up, you don't get a notification. If you are running a meeting and just presenting you don't know that people have their hands up and want to ask a question."
"The online applications have limited functionality compared to the local applications."
"It seems like every other week when we log into the administrative portals, it doesn't matter which one, it could be the active directory portal, it could be the exchange admin center or SharePoint admin center, it seems like Microsoft is consistently updating with new versions of the admin centers, which can be frustrating."
"Sometimes the synchronization between the desktop and online is a little bit slow."
"Office 365 could allow for smoother collaboration with other companies, which is the main reason we use it. The B2B connection is something we need, like global adverse lists between two tenants or multiple users. That's what we're missing at the moment."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of the solution is reasonable."
"This is an affordable solution but the price could be improved."

"The price of Office 365 is very expensive."
"The pricing is good for all the features that we receive, e.g., Skype for Business."
"For the moment, we are paying on a monthly basis because we are still adapting the support and how we want to proceed. I think we will move to paying for the annual license."
"Good reporting and good value subscriptions for international calls."
"Most of the time, we purchase Microsoft Exchange licenses, which are less expensive and provide only an email platform and 50 gigabytes of email storage for free."
