Effective threat predictions, simple to deploy, and light on resources
Malwarebytes's initial setup is simple. It is easy to deploy and configure the policies and the configuration. I deployed Malwarebytes for one customer and I did it in under two days. They had approximately 50 users, it took approximately an hour. The steps I took for the implementation were downloading the Malwarebytes management console from the site, installing it, then running the discovery tool, scanning my network, and checking all of the PCs on my network. It's already pre-configured, you don't need to configure anything. The only configuration that I did on the administration console was some of the exclusion from the scan. This is the only rule that I have created. I rate the initial setup of Malwarebytes a ten out of ten.

The solution provides endpoint detection and response with a nice-looking dashboard
The solution is easily scalable because it's in the cloud and we can push the agents using our Cafea solution. We can even deploy the applications to our remote branches easily. We currently have four people using the solution and if the number of computers increases we can scale up by increasing the number of licenses.

"The most valuable features of the solution are malware scanning and malware removal."
"Being able to carry out a full scan on your system."
"Being able to cloud manage it from just a cloud login is valuable. We can get to it from anywhere, which is really helpful. The fact that we can remediate from the cloud console is one of our favorite features."
"The most valuable features of Malwarebytes are the agents, user experience, efficiency of the findings, and MDR features."
"The installation process is very easy, especially since it is on the cloud."
"We bought it because it was cost-effective."
"The most valuable features of Sophos EPP Suite are the security and scanning of streaming media. Additionally, the solution is simple uninstall."
"Sophos EPP Suite is a powerful antivirus."
"The performance and scalability are impressive. We can install it on various computers."
"It is a scalable platform."
"It is stable."
"The most valuable features of Sophos EPP Suite are the detection capability, machine learning, ransomware protection, and live response."

Cons

"Malwarebytes is not there in the reports from Gartner or IDC...If we look at the market trends and the industry, most customers look at Gartner's reports to identify whether a product is a leader, challenger, or a big product, depending on which they choose."
"Every once in a while, it gets clobbered by updates from other places. I don't think this should happen."
"Requires increased efficiency in terms of detecting false positives."
"It's not good in search hunting."
"There is room for improvement in the way it is deployed, in terms of being able to distribute it. Right now we have to get our hands on a machine to deploy it. It would be nice if there was an easier system."
"The free version is effective, however, the paid version is pricey compared to it."
"They could come up with better reporting capabilities."
"The stability and performance of the solution are areas with shortcomings that need improvement."
"The solution has a strange technical support process where you need to move through all of these tiers before you can get to someone who can help you. They should streamline the process and make it easier to speak to the correct level of support from the outset."
"More integration options could be included in Sophos EPP Suite."
"Pricing is a consideration for us; for the Indian market, it is slightly expensive."
"The automation side of the setup is a pain."
"The solution could be improved in terms of the performance of the appliances. Sometimes the appliances in the market can be quite large. Additionally, in comparison to other appliances, such as FortiGate, Cisco Firepower, or ASA, it could be improved in terms of package processing or traffic handling."
"The only drawback is that it requires a little more system configuration."
"If we could bypass the first couple of levels of support when we have a problem then it would be easier and quicker when we need an issue resolved."
"Technical support needs to be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We expect to pay $1,000 USD a month, depending on the number of users."
"I would say that it's affordable. It costs much less than Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, or anything of that nature. But, at the same time, you are getting what you pay for. So I would say it's one of the best when you're comparing traditional NextGen AVs like Webroot that aren't the best in the bunch."
"It is expensive."
"The licensing is per seat, with clients being a little less expensive than servers. If we need more licenses, we can accomplish that within a day. As Malwarebytes adds new features to their product, such as DNS filtering and a patching module, they want to charge us more even though we're a premium user, which isn't ideal."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price and ten is a high price, I rate the product's pricing a seven."
"Its cost is around $60 a machine. The cost of the total solution for 250 people is about $8,500 a year. If we add EDR to it, it will bring that cost up to about $15,000. The cost for Carbon Black is about $25,000, which is $10,000 more, but you get all AI functions with it."
"It is really expensive. We've got between 30 and 40 licenses every year, and for the number of licenses that we have, we're finding that Malwarebytes on average costs between $900 and $1,000 more per year than comparable options. We're paying about $3,300 per year for these licenses. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
"The platform pricing is competitive with other antivirus products."
"Sophos EPP Suite is a competitive and affordable solution."
"There is an annual license to use the solution."
"The solution is expensive."
"The solution's cost is reasonable."
"Sophos is cheaper than some competing products."
"If you compare this to other solutions from a pricing perspective, the enterprise version of Sophos turns out to be cost-effective."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a seven out of ten."
