Has supported rapid deployment of digital banking while revealing a need for more innovation features
Mambu can be improved if it can keep up with current market trends and introduce innovative products, such as Buy Now, Pay Later features, which are not available out of the box at this moment. Mambu has a good API available that can easily connect to third-party integrations. However, if they can integrate themselves and come up with front-end solutions, such as Backbase or i-exceed, along with AWS, Azure, and other cloud partners, it will help us to be more adaptive and scalable, covering a broader market. Mambu needs to focus more on customer orientation. If they can provide self-guided learning materials for people to learn how to configure and use Mambu, it will be a great help.

Comprehensive configurability and seamless integration enhance project management effectiveness
The microservices for smaller customers are not optimized and become difficult for customers to manage. Microservices work best when implemented for very large customers with extensive databases, so it should be monolithic instead of microservices. My clients for Temenos Transact are usually those that have a very small customer base, such as banks with around 5,000 customers, but even then, we were rolling out both digital and Temenos Transact. The rating depends on how large the customer is and their ability to escalate at the highest level of Temenos. Under optimal conditions, it can achieve a ten out of ten rating. I rate Temenos Transact as among the top two solutions in the banking domain, being a very significant player alongside Finastra. I have given it a rating of 9 out of 10.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is easily configurable."
"Calculations with Mambu are far better than creating something yourself."
"The best feature of Mambu is its capability to analyze clients. It is particularly useful for banking and financial institutions when making loans. You can easily see a portfolio with active clients and all relevant details. It is also easy to learn."
"The product's initial setup phase is very easy. The tool is very user-friendly."
"From a software engineering perspective, the product's best feature is its APIs. These APIs allow developers to access user funds, reschedule loans based on different activities, and adjust various transactions. Mambu is quite dynamic and robust, facilitating the improvement and expansion of our platform."
"You can write your app and the web application and create them manually. Instead of opening your application and doing something else that you want to do, you can add everything, including the details, in one place."
"This solution has provided us with an all-round banking solution that has local development capabilities."

Cons

"There is a bit of room for improvement in customer service and support."
"The documentation could be improved."
"There are some issues with Mambu as a tool used for core banking systems."
"The solution's response times are different and don't work consistently. I believe there is room for improvement in the API development part, specifically in understanding the platform's specific needs and structure. It also needs improvement in user-friendliness."
"The solution takes some time to open."
"The Trade Finance customer frontend needs to be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As a core banking system, the tool is cheap."
