Accessing documents on your mobile while traveling is essential but screen share suppport could be helpful.
Focus onto the planning phase of the implementation. Prepare a list of your requirements regarding the restrictions (passcode, secure data access), use cases, what type of resources would your users like to acces from their mobile device. Per device and per user licensing are available, so you can decide which is the best for you. There are two type of implementation available: Connected Cloud and On-premise. In the first scenario MobileIron is responsible for the availability, the backup and the version upgrades of the Core. Make groups by the type of users and use active directory groups for assigning configs and policies. Prepare a list of the platforms you would like to support. Ask for a 30-day evaluation from MobileIron and check that it meets with your expectation and requirements. Mobileiron provide 0 day support for new versions of IOS, Android and Windows Phone. It is possible to create dynamic groups of configs and policies as per the user AD group membership and by device properties (platform, OS version, screen size,… more than 240 filter properties can be used)

The solution is stable, scalable, and offers single sign-on
I give the solution a nine out of ten. I suggest if a person wants to start using Workspace ONE, they should make use of the cloud instance instead of the on-premise instance. There is an on-premise instance available, but the cloud instance is a better option now. I advise them to make use of the cloud instance. This is because management-wise, there is no need to manage a server. For example, we don't need to buy a server, and we don't need to buy network switches, which are required for the on-premise. At the same time, I can advise setting up all the functionalities or whatever functionalities are available for the trial version. We need to check if the Workspace ONE integration includes Azure AD or other identity providers. A lot of applications are using these providers for authentication, such as Ping, Okta, and others. If the Workspace ONE integration doesn't include these providers, the company might have to find a different solution. Security projects should also be considered. Specifically, if the solution can integrate with local security solutions to secure mobile devices.
