They have good specs, and the price is lower than competing solutions
Omada could add some API integrations that would help with our automated solution. We're trying to integrate, and we're having some issues because some of the calls are not there. The API still needs some development. They could also enhance the reporting capabilities. At the same time, Omada's reporting has improved considerably in the latest version. That was an issue for us, but now it seems okay. More carrier-grade integrations should be available on Omada access points in the future. They could also add a hot spot and maybe a mobile upload solution. I still have issues from time to time when switching access points. I'm still connected to the SSID, but my signal drops when I switch from 5 Ghz to 2.4 Ghz. I'm not switched to the other access point that is closer to me. I should have been switched automatically to the other access point. Occasionally, the handoff doesn't work. I have tried this with WiFi 6, and it worked fine, so I think they may have resolved this issue in the latest versions.

Unified management of devices ensures a consistent network configuration
I find the features of Ubiquiti WLAN most valuable. I appreciate that it has a controller instead of just a single access point, similar to how Ruckus operates. I utilize Ubiquiti WLAN unified management system, and it helps streamline network management by making consistent configuration of all my access points and switches. I also have cameras integrated, so I have everything managed through the system. I have seen benefits from utilizing Ubiquiti WLAN as it's a stable solution. I also see scalability as a positive factor for Ubiquiti WLAN.

"The main advantage of Ubiquiti WLAN is the network management. The whole concept has one complete range of products from end to end, with very basic and effective management systems. That's a key benefit in my mind. But the main thing is that it's so competitive—far more competitive than the other leading American brands."
"You can save backups of this controller locally and then I can export it to wherever I want."
"Ubiquiti is affordable, as it does not require recurring licensing fees."
"It is similar to the switches, where it is one of those things where it just works. They are very reliable."
"The solution has a lot of great features."
"There was a time when we were using Cisco switches and attempting to integrate Ubiquiti UniFi switches into our network infrastructure. Eventually, after some effort, we managed to understand the process. Initially, it was challenging to configure the unified console to manage virtual networks alongside internal networks effectively. We had to comprehend how both systems would integrate carefully. It became apparent that maximizing the usage of Cisco switches required a thorough understanding of how UniFi operates at the backend."
"It is a very stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"would rate the scalability a nine out of ten. It is very scalable."
