Everything has worked better since we started using it
Sometimes the syncing is inconsistent. I'm confident that the devices are checking in every eight hours, but sometimes the devices aren't picking up the settings as quickly as I would expect. Some features haven't been updated in a while, and Microsoft doesn't seem interested in developing them. Unless you talk to an engineer, you don't know whether there will be an update. There are communication issues, so you might start working with a feature without knowing if it will be deprecated six months from now. Some reporting areas still need development. For example, I noticed that the reporting for driver updates is still confusing.

Graphical interface improves diagnostics, but external integration and support team knowledge need enhancement
I am working with SOTI XSight for some customers. Mainly in Hong Kong, we primarily have government customers The graphical user interface within SOTI XSight is intuitive and much more beautiful than traditional SOTI MobiControl. The user interface is a critical component of the diagnostic tools.…

Easy to use and allows us to conduct illustrative, VR-like presentations to customers
The most valuable feature is the ability to do a virtual reality kind of presentation where you're able to annotate scenes to illustrate what you mean when you're talking to a customer. This particular feature is the best as far as we're concerned. It's easy enough to use. We have no complaints about security.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable features are the ones that make sure that the deployment is of a standard operating system and the Zero Touch deployment, which is very useful. This allows users to have an out of box experience."
"Intune's compliance features are valuable because they allow immediate visibility into ongoing situations."
"This product offers an alternative solution to other UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) solutions."
"Our main use is Intune's management of mobile devices, like Android or iPhone devices. The application performs quite well for both types. We successfully managed almost 3,000 endpoints."
"The stability is good."
"Comparing this to having an endpoint management solution, the efficiency gain may be up to 80%."
"It's easy to manage."
"The ability to work from all over the planet is valuable. You just need a functioning and working Internet connection."
"The graphical user interface within SOTI XSight is intuitive and much more beautiful than traditional SOTI MobiControl."
"I recommend SOTI XSight to other businesses because it ensures device availability and helps avoid operational delays that could impact revenue."
"Technical support has good responsiveness."
"It's easy enough to use."

Cons

"I'm still playing around with it and haven't had any issues with the product yet, but support can definitely be improved."
"Integrating certain group policies can be challenging and may necessitate using on-premises systems to integrate them with Microsoft Intune."
"The information we receive at the device level needs improvement."
"It would be interesting to integrate the server side of Intune. Some group policy updates we have on the Windows Server side and possibly some on the client side could also be included."
"Having a dedicated configuration server that assists in modifying the configuration service, and creating personalized structures, interfaces, and web services could enhance usability."
"There could be more wizard-driven policy development or creation. Some of the policies can get quite complex. If they have a wizard that assists the administrators in creating the policy, that will be a great job."
"Intune could be enhanced by automating application upgrades, similar to how it automates operating system upgrades."
"Intune could add more Linux security features and more integration with on-prem devices. The application deployments can also be improved."
"The subscription model could be improved, as it is not familiar in the Southeast Asian regions."
"The technical support by SOTI is only average."
"The location markings can appear incorrectly."
"It's quite power-hungry and some customers complain that it drains the batteries on their smartphones very quickly."
