HCL Domino Reviews

We have developed 100 plus applications on this platform. For instance, the entire HR solution is built on that solution. Our HR management system is on Notes and Domino. The leave management system in Notes and Domino as well as the employee attendance system, performance reviews, and the reimbursement management system. Any area of HR and sub-service of employees is developed on Notes and Domino. 

We have developed some sort of interface with the procurement management system that is eventually integrated with Oracle Financials. There are so many other processes of our core banking system that are developed on Notes and Domino. They all are connected to our core banking systems, our Oracle Financial, and other systems. The main focus is that any process that requires any approvals or any workflows, is developed on Notes and Domino.

It is a wonderful tool. 

It offers a very stable environment. 

The security is very good.

The integration capabilities are great. 

It is a beautiful platform for low-code and no-code developments and offers comprehensive solution development.

The pricing is excellent.

HCL is doing a wonderful job. I appreciate HCL. Whatever they are introducing in terms of new features has been great. I've got 20 years of experience on Notes and Domino and I love their way of working. They are improving the product continuously. That's the reason I'm trying my best to get approval from our regulator to keep the product intact.

We use it for everything: developing applications, email, group calendaring, to-do, and so on.    Applications include CRM, Inventory, Safety Management System, Vacation Scheduling, Travel Expenses (in multiple languages), Order entry, Fuel Sales, Ground School Attendance and Marking, Flight Dispatch, etc.

In the current deployment, HCL Notes / Domino is helping us to move away from the paper based procedures that have been virtually unchanged since the 1950s.

As a flight training organization we are required by regulation to maintain meticulous records.  There is a lot of data duplication - with all the errors that ensue.  Domino is helping to reduce the ensuing wasted effort.

We use this solution mainly for mobile email systems. Some other customized applications run on HCL Domino.

The email system is the most valuable feature.

It serves as a versatile solution catering to a broad spectrum of our computing requirements like managing our website, internal systems, and various operations seamlessly.

It's an all-encompassing platform, making it unnecessary for me to seek additional solutions. It serves as a centralized solution that fulfills all my requirements from operating my email server to managing various aspects of my operations.

I use the solution in my company for workflows and document management, as it is a pretty broad platform.

The most valuable features of the solution are security and integration.

I use HCL Domino for internal applications, including all our banking applications and customer-facing applications. 

Additionally, I utilize it for document management, trainings, document sharing, and maintaining a document library.

One valuable feature of HCL Domino is its integration with other directories. Its hybrid nature allows the use of both web-based applications and Notes client-based applications. 

Additionally, it supports web services, enabling us to consume and expose web services. HCL Domino also supports various internal processes, including document management, trainings, and customer-facing applications.

Domino is the server and HCL Notes is a product installed on that server. 

This solution can be used for workflow application so that applications can be easily developed.

It's used for mail collaboration and as a CRM for our customers. All processes in our company rely on Domino.

The most important benefit is security. The security architecture is very good. It's the best part of the solution.
