Moving to a consumption model is highly desirable from the client side. everyone seems to be moving in that direction. It provides a cloud-like experience on-prem. It simplified it for the most part. When you look at a lot of the storage and historically how it's been done, you're doing a lot of forecasting, a lot of business justification, a lot of purchasing of hardware, and oversizing for growth, et cetera. The pay-as-you-go model is a much more simplified way of doing things. And it offers more flexibility. The scale capacity improves and simplifies the experience in terms of growth and performance. A lot of clients I work with have performance requirements. I work heavily in financial and healthcare segments and those need 24/7/365 performance with no downtime. GreenLake helped to reduce our operational expenses.

I really like Intent-based Provisioning. You don't need to know a lot about storage or where to place your data since the platform and artificial intelligence will help you do that. The unified management experience has been great. That's a huge advantage. Having all the different services in the HPE GreenLake platform makes it really easy to switch between services. For example, if you have block storage and want to protect some more volume, you can go to Backup and Recovery or DR. Having everything integrated in one platform is a really good advantage. The solution's 100% data availability guarantees our operations and businesses. Every second you lose, you're losing money. It's really important to have that 100% availability. Also, these days, with the rise of ransomware and so on, having guaranteed availability is essential. When it comes to disaster recovery, the solution allows us to meet and reduce our RPO and RTO strategies by 75% to 80%. It's simple to manage and monitor our global block storage environment from a single cloud. It's also very intuitive. The solution has reduced the amount of time we spend on storage management. We spend less time monitoring. It's saved us about 50% of our time. With everything integrated into one platform, there's less moving around. Plus, we receive email alerts and updates and so on. Management becomes faster and easier. A huge advantage of disaggregated architecture is that it allows clients to scale up to meet their needs. For clients, you can also start over-provisioning. Compared to other solutions, it helps users save a lot of other resources. AI-driven predictive analytics and performance reporting are helpful. If there's a problem in the environment, it will be caught before it occurs. This helps ensure that daily operations aren't affected by issues. Our line of business or admins are enabled to self-provision storage. They have all the visibility of the different storage solutions no matter where they are. It gives users complete visibility and also allows them to manage capacity planning for the future. The solution helped reduce the time required for storage provisioning by 70% or 80% or so. It's easy and intuitive.

I am a long-time HPE storage user and what I like the most is that they picked the best of both worlds and merged them together in one platform. I can start small. I can scale up. I can scale out. I can scale the capacity independently of the performance. The most important feature is that it's easy to manage. It has integrations with my application and with my software stack. It's so easy. We have the full life cycle management doing updates, and it's just a button, so it makes life easier. The ease of management has the biggest impact. That directly impacts my daily life. With easier management with one console, the application team can use the same tool. It's much more efficient. The communication, the enablement, it goes much faster, and we are much more efficient. The evolution over the last year has been good. They are doing a great job and have a good roadmap. We've saved a lot of time. However, how much time saved would depend on the number of actions or how you are measuring. It improved your storage performance in iOS due to the technology that they're using and the NVMe Storage. Today I get a better deduplication level compared to the previous generations. That means the price per gigabyte or terabyte is lower for me.
