ManageEngine Password Manager Pro Reviews

We use ManageEngine Password Manager Pro to control privileged accounts. It is specifically meant to randomize passwords for privileged and service accounts. 

Additionally, we use the auditing feature to grant access and audit activities accordingly. The software also facilitates session recording, though we are not utilizing this feature currently.

By granting access to a desired list of users, the software allows them to perform relevant activities when needed. It emphasizes security by making accounts like ADE or server administrators auditable. Usage reports are generated whenever someone accesses these accounts.

As the infrastructure team, we utilize it to store all our service accounts and web account passwords. We use it for every password we require to access as a tool.

The tool is secure, safe, reliable, and easy to use.

We use the solution as a password vault to store our passwords so that the IT team can access them.

There is room for improvement in making the UI more user-friendly. When you search for a password, there are some things you can't edit from the search bar, so you have to go back to the main window and scroll through to edit them.

We primarily use the solution as a password vault. We use it mostly for privileged accounts. It's more for administrator application passwords. We don't use it for personal accounts. We use it for system accounts and privileged accounts only.

We don't have to be a recording our password on paper or in a document. It keeps things more secure.

The product couldn’t make any notable change in our system, because of the complexity of cycle of the system.

It is user-friendly. Someone who doesn’t have a lot of IT knowledge can work with the product easily.

The primary use case for the product is collaboration for sharing passwords. 

The most valuable feature would be the authorization for saving passwords. It is also very safe and we haven't had any security issues.
