Hello community,
I work as a Principal Consultant at a large Tech Service company.
Use case:
Many processes have multiple paths which are ideal. However, there is no simple way to capture the ideal process with decision boxes, gateways, etc.
I know there is a workaround that we can work with. However, there is no simple approach to use modeling with this workaround.
So, I have two questions for you:
Thanks for your help!
Hello @AnkushJain,
There is an interesting research paper written by Wil van der Aalst, see:
(PDF) Using Free-Choice Nets for Process Mining and Business Process Management (researchgate.net)
In this article he describes an example (Figure 2) that shows a BPMN model discovered using the Celonis process mining software.
The same model can also be used for Conformance Checking and show where reality and model deviate.
So, the answers to your questions are "Yes".
Hi @KaustavMandal, @Abhishek Tandon, @Evgeniy Koltsov, @Cuneyt Ugur,
and @reviewer1468551,
Are you able to assist @AnkushJain with their question?
