The product's material requirements planning (MRP) feature has been crucial for our production planning and overall efficiency. Its real-time data capabilities initially provided critical insights that supported our decision-making. It effectively meets our data security and compliance requirements. I rate SAP Business One as a seven out of ten. It's a robust solution that could benefit from additional features to enhance its capabilities further.
SAP Business One is really good and has helped many organizations to fix their inventory management processes. The solution's CRM functionalities are good, but not that good. We can integrate other CRM systems like Salesforce and Odoo with SAP Business One. Depending on the customer's needs, the solution can be deployed both on-premises and on the cloud. Gathering client requirements is a big challenge for us during the solution's implementation. I would recommend the solution to other SMBs. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

My recommendation depends on your current setup. If you're starting from scratch, SAP Business One is highly recommended. If you already have an established system, it would be considered an upgrade. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. In terms of usability and industry fit, I find that a lot of customers are able to get at least 80% of their business needs addressed by the solution.

The solution's reporting and analytics features are helpful for a quick understanding of the margin and a quick overview. The solution provides many IoT-based integrations. Generally, SAP Business One is capable of running manufactured machines from integrated services. I suggest using a hybrid model if the client has more than 450 users. If the client has 50 to 100 users, they must go with the cloud version. I recently implemented integration for a big client. They have integrated with Amazon, AWS, IoT, and third-party end-user analytics services. All are SAP-certified services. SAP Business One does not come with total availability. Sometimes, it needs a two-hour downtime. I would recommend SAP Business One to other users because it’s a great application. Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.
My advice would be; first, you should have the right consultant to implement the system. SAP Business One is a good product, but it needs to be properly mapped with your business requirements to gain maximum benefit. Customization may be required, such as developing reports, writing queries, and making small customizations, so it's crucial to get support from the right consultant. Some consultants may lack experience and knowledge about the product. In my 13 years of experience with SAP Business One and over 15 implementations, I recommend applying the right solution, mapping, and complying with SAP's recommendations and special amendments. If there's a gap between the Business One ERP system and your business requirements, it may lead to failure in the ERP implementation. SAP Business One is almost perfect. I can give it a ten out of ten. It has been a stable and reliable platform for me.
I rate SAP Business One eight out of 10. My advice is to be ready to implement your ERP. Before selecting an ERP and starting the project, you must have a conversation with your users and clearly define your requirements. You need to familiarize them with the concept of an ERP so they can help you implement the project.

SAP Business One does require annual maintenance and support from the partner who implemented the solution after implementation. We provide maintenance to our customers the solution. A dedicated team is responsible for providing support services for SAP Business One, consisting of approximately 32 individuals. This support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week as customers are located in various time zones, including India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and European countries. I rate SAP Business One a ten out of ten.
My company is a service provider for SAP. I recently provided SAP Business One to customers. I've always offered the latest version of the solution to my customers. SAP Business One is hosted on the cloud, on-premises, and by subscription. It has multiple options for deployment. Outside of the MENA region, the solution is on the SAP cloud, but within the MENA region, there's no data center for SAP for the cloud version, so SAP Business One is hosted on a partner-managed cloud. One consultant can deploy SAP Business One from end to end, with assistance from multiple teams from multiple stakeholders from the customer side. The number of users of SAP Business One varies. Some companies have three thousand users, while some have five users. It's based on the company size and business processes rather than the company's revenue. The solution is suitable for small, medium, and large enterprises, depending on the business process. My rating for SAP Business One is nine out of ten. Choosing a solution for whatever purpose, for example, adjusting the procurement cycle, looking into the costing for your manufacturing company, or integrating invoices, requires a reliable solution, one that you can implement quickly and securely, and that could be SAP Business One.

It depends on what your needs are. It's very good for small businesses, and if the main challenge is the setup, then you would need a professional to do that. You need to know the system. It's not Excel that you can just sit down and play. It requires setup, migration, and coding. You need to know what you are doing, but it's not difficult if you know what you are doing. I would rate it an eight out of ten because of the reporting or BI engine. It should have an embedded BI engine.
Business One is good for smaller and medium-sized companies that want to handle simple business processes. For those companies, I would rate Business One nine out of ten, but overall I give it four out of ten.

I'm a customer and an end-user. It's competitive with anything else in its space. We checked that out. No one likes to pay for licenses, so we all complain about the pricing, however, everything costs roughly the same. I know that in newer versions when I was asking about hosted options, they're starting to offer software as a service. That way, instead of doing a CapEx investment, you can do OPEX and just pay a monthly fee per user. We've done some evaluations on that. For us, it was cheaper to do the CapEx and buy the license and not do the software as a service due to the fact that, after two and a half years, you basically paid for your license if you'd bought it, and the other way you're still paying a monthly fee. After three years, you're actually in worse financial investment shape than you were if you've just done the CapEx upfront. It's just a game of where you want to put the money and either way you're going to buy licenses. All solutions in this space fall within a percentage of each other. None of them are giant. You have to be competitive to get the business, so they all price it pretty close. I'd advise new users to make sure you got a partner you can work with as it's not going to be a one-time deal. It's a relationship that you're going to want to keep intact, in place, going forward. Every year a new version and new capabilities are going to be available. You'll need additional training. Every time you hire new people, you'll need someone to help get them up to speed and make sure it's working. Therefore, it becomes a relationship, and regardless of what ERP system you go with, the partner you work with, especially in the small to mid-size space, makes all the difference in the world. A good partner makes your life easy. A bad partner makes you hate everything about the ERP system. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. I would probably take it up to a nine, however, they're not there yet. It's coming. It's in their roadmap. However, I wish I could get it earlier.

We are both users and integrators of the solution. While the solution is not meant for such a number, we currently have 11 users who are making use of it. For the moment, we are in a trial phase with a company that is running tests. Based on these findings, we will consider moving into multiple companies. The solution is straightforward and I don't see any issues in this regard. I would advise others to do thorough testing before implementing the solution. I rate SAP Business One as a six out of ten.
I rate SAP Business One eight out of 10. If you are considering implementing this solution, I recommend you start with the master data. Pay as much attention as possible to the master data and establish a dedicated function.
I would recommend this solution to others. However, there are other solutions with features that could be a better fit for your use cases. I rate SAP Business One a seven out of ten.
I am a customer and end-user of the product. I'd recommend the product to others. Anyone who wants to use SAP Business One should do so. It's a good solution. They need to get a good implementer, however, as if it's not implemented well, you will have issues. I'd rate the solution at a six out of ten. At first, we really liked it, however, as of now, we need to change as it no longer meets our needs.

It is simple for users to use, but we can design and understand how to customize the menus for technical staff. It takes a lot of experience to technically understand the environment, especially when you need to integrate other systems such as the HANA database. We need to have more Linux and freedom experience, but not as much as with Microsoft SQL Server. You also need network knowledge, which is something you can compare the HANA database to. I would rate SAP at about 8 out of 10.

I work as an ERP manager as well, however, my main work is implementation. I would rate the solution at a nine out of ten. We've been mostly very happy with the product.

We're an SAP partner. We have a business relationship with the company. We don't use the latest version of the solution. We tend to use the latest minus one. While we have implemented it on the cloud, we largely deal with on-premise deployments. Customers considering the solution should really figure out their requirements ahead of time. If they're planning to implement an ERP for a short period of time and make sure they get an ROI, Business One is a preferred option. It's important to understand the core business and the functionalities required. Understanding the business practices to be covered will help you communicate your needs and assess the correct requirements. Overall, I would rate this solution at an eight out of ten. It's been a largely positive experience.

My advice to people considering this tool has to do with how to use it. The result is definitely very important and often people focus on that. But if you score a successful project out of 100%, a good software may be only 40% of that. Another 40% is the team of implementers, and their knowledge and experience. This is very important. The remaining 20% is the customer. You have to know if the customer ready for this kind of project. You have to know if the customer knows what he wants to have after this project is complete. Sometimes the customer does not know what he is looking for. In that case, the project can never get finished. Yes, it is important to have a good software, but it is also important to have a good team doing the project and also have a very good understanding of the project from the customer side. All of these things together are very important. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate Business One as an eight-out-of-ten. The additional features I would like to see to make it score higher is increased functionality supported for web browser access and more user-friendly forms and UI templates.
The SAP Business One application offers a way to manage your entire business – from accounting and financials, purchasing, inventory, sales and customer relationships, and project management, to operations and human resources. SAP Business One helps you to streamline processes, gain a greater insight into your business, so that you can act fast and make decisions based on real time information, to help you drive profitable growth.
