We use the solution to filter the internet connection. We are not currently using the solution for LAN but just for the border of our network. The solution was integrated into our security infrastructure very quickly. I rate the impact of the solution's Digital Vaccine service on our security posture as four out of ten. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I would say, for utilizing TippingPoint, the area you need to focus on first would be your network and making sure that the team's support is well set up. If it's a multi-organization, multi-domain setup, and so on, because otherwise, you're going to be spending a lot of time trying to figure out where the test comes from. So, first, get your routes and networks well understood. Overall, I would rate the solution a six out of ten.
It is an impressive product. One of their standout offerings is Deep Security, sometimes referred to as HIPAA (Host Intrusion Prevention and Detection System). This product stands out in its own category, surpassing most EDS solutions. Particularly for safeguarding server environments, Deep Security shines with its innovative features like virtual patching. Every product comes with its strengths and weaknesses. Their products excel notably in IPS and signature-based detection. They have effectively leveraged this technology across various products. Nevertheless, like any offering, there are areas to address. For instance, their proficiency in zero-day threat handling might not be as advanced as desired. They've introduced the DDAN Discovery Analyzer device, a sandbox solution, but the antivirus layer in XDR or DDR might not excel in zero-day threat management. They offer a diverse range of products that cover numerous security aspects, even though they might not encompass the entire spectrum, they do address a substantial portion of security needs. I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I'm using the latest version of Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System. My company keeps upgrading the version. Deploying and maintaining Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System only requires one person. A thousand people use the solution within my company. There's no plan to increase its usage. My advice to anyone looking to use Trend Micro TippingPoint Threat Protection System is to have a consultant ready for the complexity of deployment. My rating for the solution is nine out of ten.
I'd recommend the solution, however, it depends on what a company needs. Before jumping in, a company needs to ask, themselves questions like: "What's our requirement". That said, for general enterprises, it's a good enough option. For our organization, however, as of next year, we're going to move away from it and deploy with a Cisco-based solution. Overall, I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten.
Trend Micro provides us technical updates and their free training if a new feature comes into their product. In general, I would of course recommend this product to other people.
This is a good solution, but our market needs clearer deal registration process. It also needs faster PoC feedbacks. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
