We are implementers. I will recommend the solution to others. It's a pretty good solution. If our device crashes, it might take up to a week or even more before it is up. With VMware Horizon View, connecting online simplifies the work. It is more cost-effective for companies. Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.
The product supports remote work scenarios in our company, considering that we have different factory infrastructure devices, such as the remote operators in different areas of the plant, where it is used to access centralized applications from multiple types of devices, such as tablets, remote PCs, etc. The product facilitates virtual desktop management and deployment, which allows for centralized management. The tool allows our company to deploy multiple instances from one central repository simply. Security patches are much easier to deploy. The scalability part is also one of the advantages offered by the solution. The patch management is much easier, and access control of different devices is good in VMware Horizon View. The scalability or flexibility feature of VMware Horizon View enhances our company's IT operations by allowing us to use all the different security areas in the plant to be deployed and used in a few simple clicks. For production areas and warehousing zones, my company has created separate rules, after which we simply deploy from the central management and create clones of similar applications that are already designed during the first instance. I rate the user experience in terms of speed and reliability an eight out of ten. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.
Just find the right vendor. Check for local experts and certified vendors. You might need their technical help later. Local vendors usually have technical guys and certified experts who can help with any scenario. I've dealt with upgrades and daily issues for over six years now. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.
I recommend the solution to those who plan to use it. VMware Horizon View is a very good product, especially if I compare it with other products, like Citrix. As a product and solution, VMware Horizon View is good. I recommend to those who plan to use the solution to take care of the planning part related to the product, and before you use the solution, you need to identify the use cases for which the solution will be used. When it comes to VMware Horizon View, the initial planning has to be perfect, without which there will be some difficulties. I rate the overall tool a seven and a half out of ten.
The maintenance phase of VMware Horizon View is easy. Two people are required to take care of the maintenance phase of VMware Horizon View as there are more than 100 VDIs. I think that VMware Horizon View presently has a SaaS offering, an option with which the maintenance part can be made much easier. VMware and Azure have a partnership to offer a SaaS-based solution. If you are open to a product deployed on the cloud model, you can choose VMware Horizon View. I rate the overall tool a nine out of ten.

I have seen a lot of improvement in VMware Horizon View over the years because I have been teaching it to others for quite a few years now. I don't find any issues with the product's interface since it is easy to use and does not pose any issues. The documentation of VMware Horizon View is quite good. Most of the environments have many implementations going forward, and then our company regularly comes across the need for VMware Horizon View training. My company is not into advisory roles. We just get or receive and deliver the training. The product is easy to use. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
As we are in an enterprise environment, we may have many use cases. Compared to Citrus, they have a single industry token that supports many use cases. If we enable users and the portal, Horizon needs a collection of different authentication methods. It's quite competitive for users and complex for enterprises if they have many use cases. I rate VMware Horizon a seven out of ten.

I have been working with Microsoft products for twenty years. I advise others to be clear about their requirements, the use cases, and the kind of VDIs they need. They should know whether they want a centralized management system, out of provisioning, or if they want to build a VIN. They should also decide which purchasing programs to opt for. VMware is the best fix for the organization because they are prevalent in the hypervisor. I would rate it as a nine. The reason is the number of tickets we have raised to VMware compared to the Microsoft product.
The solution is big and stable with many features. Integrations and user scalability are easy compared to other products. I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I rate this solution a seven out of ten. The product is good, but improvements can be made to how information is provided. We recommend this solution to new users who want to start working with it.
Customers need to know their requirements clearly and this will likely create a significant saving when it comes to working out a licensing model. I rate this solution 10 out of 10.
My advice to others is if they have a VMware base implementation, it would be very good to use VMware Horizon View. If you want to improve the solution with other technology or other solutions from VMware is a great decision to use. I rate VMware Horizon View a ten out of ten.

I'd rate VMware Horizon View seven out of 10. If you want to simplify management and retain control, give it some serious thought. If you're allowing users to work on their own devices, it's necessary. If everybody has their own laptops, you want to use something like Horizon or VDI to manage your corporate applications. It's absolutely essential for that type of environment.

This is a great product but it's a massive product and you can't do anything with Horizon View alone. It requires all the other products flying together with it. It's a very complex product and it takes a lot of time to become knowledgeable about it. It's crucial to have decent hardware before implementing this solution because it's fairly resource intensive. If this is new to you, be prepared for a fairly long project because there are so many moving pieces and it's fairly complex, and it requires having a lot of things in place before you can even begin. I rate this solution an eight out of 10.
We are customers and end-users of the solution. We're always using the latest version of the solution. For VMware, we're on version 7.7. I'd recommend the solution. I'd rate it at an eight out of ten overall. For the most part, it's worked well for us and the performance is quite good, however, I'd rank it higher if it had more documentation and manuals that could assist with configuration and the initial deployment.

VMware Horizon View supports application virtualization, which is something that companies like startups are looking for. It means that you don't need to have a cloud connector or hosting in the cloud. It is possible to create multiple user profiles so that applications can be used. For example, we can virtualize a browser and create multiple user sessions for it. It is useful, especially for applications that are used internally because you don't have to invest as much on resources. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

I think this is the best solution for VDI in VM for VM users and developers. You can implement in other cases as well. For example, with Nutanix, you can use Horizon View, it is completely compatible, and you can use it to integrate HCI or other solutions. I think it's a very good solution. I would rate this solution an eight out of 10.

We're partners with VMware. I'm using versions ranging from 7.9 to 7.12. I'm not very familiar with the cloud setup and am much more comfortable with the on-premises deployment. I deployed it to some customers. They needed to use the VDI during the pandemic. I used a setup as a work from home scenario. VDI is our solution for that kind of use case. I would advise any organization considering the solution to learn more about the product and how it works before starting anything. It's basically not easy to deploy if you're not familiar with the product. It's important to familiarize yourself with it. It's an excellent solution. I'd rate it ten out of ten.
Area 1 Horizon is a product by VMware. It's centralized management with a digital platform. I would rate this solution a five out of ten, but to be fair, there have been several improvements to this solution. We can work with this solution. We had issues before, but now they have been resolved. Students can do the lessons that are required and write the exams. We requested the graphics facilities and now they are available and working fine. Overall, I would say that we can give them a rating of seven out of ten.
