Symantec Endpoint Security's pricing is better than most offerings based on my research. It seems to be half the cost or more affordable than other solutions. I'd say it's probably the least expensive.
Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Endpoint Security Enterprise ( /products/symantec-endpoint-security-enterprise-reviews ) are quite affordable, with Symantec Endpoint Security Complete costing about four times the Endpoint Protection price, still comparable to other EDR products.
The licensing is okay. Symantec has a very granular licensing model, so you only buy what you need. It's similar to other competitors. I don't see them as being higher or lower than others in terms of pricing.

Symantec Endpoint Security is a moderately priced solution. On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten.
It's pretty awesome price-wise. That's why we give it to most of our clients. It isn't very expensive. Compared to Cisco AMP, which is very expensive, its price is okay. It's also cheaper than Malwarebytes. The license that you purchase lasts a period of time. After that, you again need to purchase another license. Otherwise, you will not be able to get support from Symantec every time you have issues.

The price of Symantec is on the higher end. They face some competition from a company called Quick Heal, which is much cheaper than Endpoint Security. They offer three years of protection at just 900 rupees.

The pricing is pretty much at the market standard. I don't see any issues with it. It depends on case to case. Symantec is not that cheap and it's not that expensive compared to CrowdStrike. I would put them in the "middle block."

Pricing is handled by a separate team. Whenever a new client asks for a recommendation, we provide it, but they deal directly with Symantec or other vendors for the pricing.
The pricing is as per the environment. If all the features are there, there will be a cost for them. There were no additional costs for me. Support and other things were included in the pricing.

Because we are still awaiting pricing, I am not sure what the difference is. I have only done the technical comparison; I haven't done the pricing comparison yet.
I am not sure of the initial cost, but the yearly renewals are quite affordable, which is a good thing. The price seems to have come down in recent years, and with the alternatives that are out there, such as Microsoft Defender, it needs to maintain that affordability to make it attractive.

They're on the reasonable side. They are at mid-level. They're not too expensive as compared to their competitors. They're also not too cheap. In terms of price structure, hopefully, they could do a subscription.

Symantec Endpoint Security does have some aggressive competitors and they're offering very competitive pricing. Maybe Symantec Endpoint Security could amend their pricing structure, but they always offer a good product.

We pay a yearly licensing fee. The fee was paid last year, however, I don't have access to the exact costs. It may have been renewed before I started working with the company.

We usually go on a per-seat basis, and it's usually yearly. The prices fluctuate, but this year I think it was maybe around $12,000. If you're looking at the on-prem costs for the virtual server and the licensing for the server, that would be the only extra cost.

My understanding is that the price is quite good and competitive. My advise is to invest the necessary time and effort to deploy it correctly and with minimal disruption. In the enterprise arena, if you don't have the in-house expertise in the more complex areas of the product do your organization a favor and get expert assistance.

Compared to other products and brands here in Mexico, the price is okay, somewhere in the middle. Our solution is unique in that it can adapt to a variety of pricing and licensing constraints considering we have the corporate, government, and academic mandates. The account managers here in Mexico always give us support in the form of applicable discounts and adjustments.

Each annual client license is around 1200 or 1600 INR. Zero-day threat or advanced attacks should be part of the endpoint. The product should not require you to buy a separate license.
