SpamTitan's pricing is competitive, being one of the least expensive compared to other vendors. The approximate cost is around $7000 USD. There are no additional costs required for maintenance or support.

It's more expensive than my old solution, OnlyMyEmail. That's surprising because SpamTitan requires a minimum of 50 user licenses. As a small customer, I only need about 25 real users. With OnlyMyEmail, I had a perfect solution at a cheaper price. I'd gladly pay more than I do for SpamTitan if it meant having the same reliable functionality that worked 100% of the time. I pay $650 per year for 50 licenses.

Its pricing is good. It's probably one of the most competitive anti-spam and anti-malware appliances out there for email. I was doing some looking around for pricing before I came to SpamTitan, and for the feature set, the price is very reasonable and competitive. There is an additional cost to Link Lock for link parsing. That was a separate add-on. It's called SpamTitan Plus, and that's how they bundled it. We opted to have that protection as well.

I'm actually in the process of renewing with SpamTitan, but I'm having difficulty achieving that. I'll get it figured out. I'm in communication with them. It's just that the person who needs to respond to me is being a little slow in responding. When I deployed SpamTitan, it was only $120 a year, so it was affordable. This time when I want to renew, they gave me a quote of $500 a year, and I'm telling them, "Hey, wait a minute. In one year you went from $120 a year to $500? This isn't working." They recently gave me a quote, as little as a month ago, that said it would cost me $120 to renew. But then they sent me another reminder and I clicked on the link in the reminder and it took me to a site where it just said pay $500. The subscription thing is the first time that I've ever had any real issue.
The price point is still of a reasonable nature. It is reasonable for the services that they offer. They are very reasonable, and that is one of the factors why we decided on SpamTitan a long time ago. We recently added on the new Link Lock license.

We're satisfied with the pricing and licensing for SpamTitan. They worked with us on that, because, fully staffed, we have around 110 people which would have required that we purchase 200 seats from them. But because we're a non-profit, they said 100 is fine, and if it fluctuates up or down, they're not going to hold us to it. They were really understanding about our issues with cost.

The pricing is very reasonable and very comparable in the industry. It's not the cheapest, but it's not the most expensive. Their licensing structure does leave a little bit to be desired. I would like it to be easier to understand how I can add licenses and update things.

I don't deal with pricing. In terms of licensing, the last I heard was that the licensing for users in SpamTitan isn't fully functioning because of some integration issues with Microsoft. I know we have more than 20% extra on our licensing at the moment.

The pricing is ideal. A lot of other anti-spams are integrated in Exchange, counting technical mailboxes that are not sending any emails outside. So, they are not scanned and only for internal communication. SpamTitan only counts the emails that it scans. This is one of the best licensing models that I saw for anti-spam solutions because it is counting dynamically the number of emails that senders are sending. It counts these uniquely by week. It provides a very realistic picture. This is very useful because we are not counting the emails doing inbound or outbound notifications from our company. We are considering buying Link Lock, which has an additional fee. I need time to test and trial it, so the purchase is currently on hold. For a small company, it would be just a great solution because it doesn't cost that much. It is very easy to install and configure. The support is just great.
The price and the licensing are fair, allowing us to make a margin on the product. We paid a one-time fee for the sandboxing feature; apart from that, it's just the standard licensing.

We get MSP pricing, which is better than retail. The spam solutions are generally priced the same across the board, but SpamTitan is a little less expensive than some of the premium spam services. At the same time, I'm not quite sure you get a whole lot more from a premium spam service versus SpamTitan. That's why we went with it. We didn't see the value in spending more money. Who's to say that the other competitors had better artificial intelligence for their spam protection? That's really the only difference between one anti-spam provider and another.
Everything has really been great with the pricing and licensing. In fact, we just implemented ArcTitan because everything was going so well with SpamTitan.

It is probably one of the more reasonably priced options out there. SpamHero was right in line with the same pricing. However, their interface and their usability are not as easy as SpamTitan. You get fantastic service with this product. In contrast, if I wanted to call Barracuda with an issue, they never returned calls. It's all web-based, so you can't get anybody on the phone if you need stuff with Barracuda, and when you do it's like pulling teeth. With SpamTitan, based on their price and actually being able to get somebody on the phone, it just made it worth every penny.

This pricing is absolutely fine and it's never been an issue of it being too expensive. We pass the costs along to our customers but it is competitively priced.
The pricing model was one of the reasons that we selected it. The solution was very effective at what it did and it was very cost-effective. My client saved in the 30% to 40% range by installing it, so the pricing is competitive.
The pricing of SpamTitan is about right. It's not over-priced per user. It's not super cheap either, but it is a very good product and they certainly deserve to make some money on it.
As a small business, every penny is counted here. All businesses have had problems over the past couple of years with the pandemic. I really thought that something like SpamTitan would be more expensive, but it cost me about $70 (or about £60) a month. I'm more than happy to pay that.

We pay around $4,200 for a license, so it doesn't come out to that much per user. It's about $8.40 per user annually. You just can't beat that. I don't know if people negotiate that down further, but TitanHQ tried to raise the price on me after we had been using this solution for a year or two. I told them we had already budgeted for the amount we've been paying for the past two years, so they agreed to keep the price the same. Maybe a customer could haggle for a better deal, but I think that's a pretty good price to protect one user from spam and viruses for a year.

Find exactly what you want out of the tool and ensure that the options it provides are what you want, and then look at the price. In our case, we made the decision to go with SpamTitan because we didn't want all the other bells and whistles that Mimecast had. We have since subscribed to other tools that do the things that Mimecast also does, but the aggregated price of those other tools is still cheaper than Mimecast. Look at what you really want, what you really have to have, and how those things are integrated across the board, and then make your decision. There is a stepped-up version of SpamTitan, that some users may like, called SpamTitan Plus. It doesn't significantly increase the cost but it does provide some extra features. We get those features elsewhere, so we're not subscribing to them.
Their superior service comes at a very cost-effective price. This is the biggest part that really allows us to remain competitive. Their pricing for us has just been great. They have helped us to be where we need to be. They really do partner with us in that way so we can get more business. They provide the right pricing, which lets us remain competitive.

The price is good by today's standards. You actually get what you pay for. The licensing agreement is rather seamless. You pay for a period and once that is up, you just renew. They give you some leeway in the payments. It's not like it's going to expire today and they're going to bombard you today saying, "Look, your contract has expired. We're going to cancel." That's a good thing as well.
I'm very business-minded. I negotiated with them because we are in education. I told him that we cannot pay high prices. They were quite good with the EDU pricing and we are quite happy with it. They have to strike a balance. A product can be very good, but if you can't afford it... In this case, the product is good, and they were also sensitive to our situation in education, where we don't have a lot of money. We have to be very careful how we spend it and where we invest it.
The cluster was an additional cost. We had to get some more licenses to get to that level. It's well worth it because it means peace of mind for everyone.
