Most of our customers are global companies. There is no local support for Mist in Brazil. There is no equipment for trial. It's very difficult to sell or implement the product. I need a box with me to sell the solution.
There is room for improvement in pricing. In future releases, they need to add some router models. Because currently, it supports only SSR and SRX routers. But adding other routers would be good.
Regarding opportunities for improvement, it is notable for its robust cloud portal and integration of artificial intelligence into various services, creating a highly efficient environment for work. However, a drawback lies in the cost associated with its WiFi offerings. With a pricing range of twelve hundred to fifteen hundred dollars for a single Access Point, exclusive of the subscription, it is acknowledged as a relatively expensive solution in the realm of WiFi services. Despite this drawback, the positive attributes of Mist make it a noteworthy option.
There are some technical issues that may require attention. It could be related to configuration issues rather than hardware problems. We have experienced sudden disconnections followed by reconnections. In future releases, if there could be more plug-and-play functionality provided; it would make things easier for us. So, a simpler configuration process, like plug and play

The solution lacks documentation. So, it is an area that can be improved. When you are at the beginning phase and don't have full access to the portal, I don't know if there's a lot of documentation on how to use Mist that can help you evaluate it and explain what it does and how to do certain things without actually having a Mist account.

Currently, AI functions, Configuration from Mist portal the solution works with Juniper and Mist devices only. I hope soon MIST AI will allow other Vendor/OEM to control and configure from their configuration. Mist AI and Cloud should allow other devices to configure with it.

Mist AI and Cloud should be marketed more and focus on making partners in the industry. In an upcoming update, Juniper solutions may incorporate Central software-defined applications integration. By implementing application-based routing, users can establish application queues similar to creating a single rule for two switches and wireless devices. This allows Microsoft Teams to receive prioritized high Mbps for all users through a single policy that can be applied to switches, wireless devices, SD-WAN, and firewalls. If implemented, this change would be a significant advancement for Juniper solutions.
Juniper should integrate all their dashboards instead of having separate dashboards for Mist AI and Juniper's SD-WAN. It would be good if Juniper could have everything in one dashboard.
Sometimes it takes a lot of time for the access point to connect with the cloud. Additionally, when redirection is made from one cloud to another, it also takes some time. I believe these are areas that could be improved upon.

I found the inter-functionality with other vendors a negative, and we weren't particularly happy with their sales model when it came to roll-out and implementation.

The main problem is that the power consumption for the access point is always screaming that it needs more power. It's supposed to be POE and I set it up as the recommend POE supply, and it's still screaming that it needs more power. In comparison, I have no such problem with my Aruba system.

There seems to be different versions of standards used in the wireless access points. In the future, it would be helpful if the solution could come up with some kind of universal standard for all devices and all access points. The wireless radio power needs adjustment. Different countries have different power ratings in decibel levels. While one country may have certain levels, another country will have different ones. All countries should have one standard of controlling power levels and frequencies. That way, it will be easier for us to plan with different brands.
Mist AI uses a combination of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science techniques to optimize user experiences and simplify operations across the wireless access, wired access, and SD-WAN domains.
Data is ingested from numerous sources, including Juniper Mist Access Points, Switches, Session Smart Routers, and Firewalls for end-to-end insight into user experiences. These devices work in concert with Mist AI to optimize user experiences from client-to-cloud, including...
