In my opinion, the price is too high. It could be improved. The support for .NET Framework and Visual Studio in Micro Focus UFT Developer is currently limited. At present, only Visual Studio 2019 is supported, despite the release of a newer version (2022). Similarly, the tool only supports up to .NET Framework version 4.3.8, while there have been six newer versions released. This is an area that could be improved upon, particularly in the Windows environment.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. When I had challenges with scheduler and calendar control recognition challenges, I faced unresponsiveness. OpenText support (previously Micro Focus) and even SmartBear (OpenText Complete provider) just said , "The current version does not support it." They did not give me a roadmap. The challenge with big companies is that "it is what it is" and don't address customer problems directly. Wherever, Eggplant was a niche player, stepped in and readily demonstrated its support capabilities to solve my issue.
