Ease of manageability is very good, offers good analytics features and does not put a heavy burden on memory
Policy customization and deployment need a little bit of improvement. The push policies, the first line, and all those things. So, there is room for improvement in the customization of policies. That's the software part. You can have multiple policies, but customizing them is where they need to improve. Integration with the ERP systems in that area is a little bit of a pain. You have to know how to exclude folders like SQL folders and ERP software folders. It takes a little bit of training, like coding the program and all those things. Sometimes, very rarely, we come across issues with high CPU utilization, but it's immediately resolved. It happens once in a while. The AI capabilities could be better. We cannot fully depend on AI. We have to look at things like false positives. If the clients are using a legacy system, AI might flag it as a threat. We can't fully rely on AI to make decisions. We have to look at what kind of threats come in and evaluate them accordingly. But once you take action, then later you can let AI handle it. The first time, we have to evaluate it.

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The nice thing about Bitdefender is that it has modules and layers that you can add as the requirement becomes more sophisticated and dangerous or threatening."
"The most valuable feature for me is the ability to whitelist, blacklist, and be very granular as to what I blocked, what apps I blocked, and what websites I block. I think that's probably the most valuable feature."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR needs to be more stable."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"It's easy to deploy."
"The initial setup is easy."
"The most valuable features are the anti-malware and firewall policies. The runtime scans and execution have been beneficial to our business."
"I like the risk assessment tool built into Bitdefender GravityZone EDR because I'm really into risk assessments and vulnerability testing."
"In terms of software performance, it has been effective in providing good security."
"The product works perfectly to prevent malware in our organization."
"The most valuable component of the solution is the malware detection feature."
"It is a powerful tool for zero-day attack prevention."
"We had the cloud suite of KasperskyEndpoint Security Cloud, and its monitoring was fine."
"The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective."
"Kaspersky has a Cloud Discovery feature. There is no template in Kaspersky. They provide a temporary risk assessment of the cloud services. For example, if we want to block public storage services like OneDrive or Google Drive, we need to specify each individually. The main difference is that Kaspersky's process takes more time because it requires individual input."
"The standout features of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud include its cloud-based console and the simplicity of managing endpoints."

Cons

"The cryptosystem could be improved a bit."
"The solution is sometimes resource-intensive."
"There is a need to work on the deployment, when it comes to deploying to Windows machines with regards to downloading the size of the package."
"The areas of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) could benefit from improvement in terms of how problems are reported and displayed. The way the problems are presented and the information provided could be improved."
"There's room for improvement in terms of protection. That's my primary concern."
"The graphical user interface for EDR could be improved."
"I would like to see the capability for remote installation added, in particular for servers."
"The product fails to provide guides to its users...I want the tool to offer some guides and hands-on training that can guide users who want to learn more about the product without the vendor's help."
"The solution’s stability could be improved because we earlier faced an issue where the solution was not detecting file-less malware."
"Certain shortcomings in the anti-ransomware part of the solution need improvement. XDR and MDR, along with threat hunting, a big step in cybersecurity today, need improvement."
"The tool's update management can be better. In future releases, the addition of a DLP module would be valuable."
"Its high CPU usage also slows down devices, particularly those with lower specifications like Core i3."
"Sometimes, the tool consumes a lot of resources from the endpoints, making it an area of concern where improvements are required since it currently consumes a little bit of RAM."
"Kaspersky's cloud solution should be improved because the on-premises features are unavailable in the cloud."
"Kaspersky's global ranking has been on the decline."
"Kaspersky doesn't provide local support."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is not that expensive. Compared to its competitors, it is well-priced and well-placed."
"There are some differences. It's more cost-effective, yet it provides the same functionalities as Defender. That's why I've been exploring the comparisons. We pay for it annually, and it's a per-seat payment."
"I rate the product's price a four on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high."
"The solution's price is mid-ranged."
"I have very good pricing for the solution, which is one of the reasons why I am not switching to other products. I rate the tool's pricing a two out of ten."
"The price is per license per endpoint. The price is different for everyone, but we find the price is cheap for us."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is cost-effective and has the best pricing."
"We take the subscription. Only we're taking that GravityZone and protection of the environment and the system. We didn't subscribe to the detection response."
"The pricing is favorable, and there are no additional expenses associated with using the product."
"We had to pay an annual licensing fee for KasperskyEndpoint Security Cloud."
"The platform is expensive."
"The product is averagely priced."
"The solution is moderately priced and cannot be considered an expensive or cheap tool."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a cost-effective solution."
"The product’s price is flexible."
"The solution is reasonably priced."
