Centralized control effectively manages devices while updates require powered-on systems
I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR for the grooming industry. It is primarily utilized for the office environment The features I find most effective for threat detection include centralized control policy distribution and the control of independent devices, such as printers, laptops, and desktops…

Automatic update feature could be better and multi-layered protection capability needs enhancement
The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective. It also provides web threat protection by blocking unwanted websites. It provides multi-layered protection. Although it could be more efficient, it is sufficient for regular purposes. I would not recommend it based on my experience. I rate it a three out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The cloud management is easy and useful, especially in our case when we have multiple offices in different locations."
"After deploying Bitdefender, it provides detailed logs about any threats encountered and quarantines the threat. It synchronizes this information, and you can see which PC or device faced the threat when you log into the console."
"We like the dashboard, the console, the reporting. It's very easy to deploy."
"It is stable."
"I haven't had a problem with its stability yet. Since we deployed it, we haven't had one computer instance where we had to reimage the computer due to the virus."
"The product is stable. It has a small footprint, but it does a lot of heavy lifting."
"It has the ability to remotely control user PCs and execute specific commands to ensure their security. However, this capability could also pose some concerns."
"The solution's deployment is very easy and flexible."
"The product works perfectly to prevent malware in our organization."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a very good solution for endpoint protection."
"Kaspersky has a Cloud Discovery feature. There is no template in Kaspersky. They provide a temporary risk assessment of the cloud services. For example, if we want to block public storage services like OneDrive or Google Drive, we need to specify each individually. The main difference is that Kaspersky's process takes more time because it requires individual input."
"In Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, anti-phishing and anti-malware are two very powerful aspects."
"The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective."
"It is a powerful tool for zero-day attack prevention."
"The standout features of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud include its cloud-based console and the simplicity of managing endpoints."
"In terms of software performance, it has been effective in providing good security."

Cons

"Occasionally websites are unnecessarily blocked due to monitoring software on those sites."
"The main area for improvement is the dashboard of the cloud console, where we manage security policies and groupings. It needs to be more flexible and informative."
"The one thing I'd say about their complete MDR product is that it's too expensive, which is why I prefer to use an alternative SOC and integrate Bitdefender to a different SOC on their own."
"For many, the problems come mostly when they start tweaking or short-cutting - particularly for patch management."
"The pricing should be improved. The user interface has been improved on a yearly basis. The key issue is that they need to look at their pricing."
"In terms of improvement of the solution, it could have better features. For example, having a firewall within. This way we would only need one solution."
"The reporting is much too simple."
"If we could directly push the agent to the script, it'll be very good."
"Certain shortcomings in the anti-ransomware part of the solution need improvement. XDR and MDR, along with threat hunting, a big step in cybersecurity today, need improvement."
"Its high CPU usage also slows down devices, particularly those with lower specifications like Core i3."
"Kaspersky's cloud solution should be improved because the on-premises features are unavailable in the cloud."
"Sometimes, the tool consumes a lot of resources from the endpoints, making it an area of concern where improvements are required since it currently consumes a little bit of RAM."
"While the product provides a good level of protection, we need better support, especially in terms of being kept informed about new threats and specific configurations needed."
"Kaspersky doesn't provide local support."
"It requires specific expertise or certified professionals to deploy the product. There is a need to expand the offerings to various industries covering different-sized businesses."
"The solution’s stability could be improved because we earlier faced an issue where the solution was not detecting file-less malware."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There are different packages available that vary in terms of licensing fees."
"We take the subscription. Only we're taking that GravityZone and protection of the environment and the system. We didn't subscribe to the detection response."
"As I am on a different model, my clients pay me on a monthly basis."
"The product has a reasonable price."
"The solution's pricing is average."
"It is not that expensive. Compared to its competitors, it is well-priced and well-placed."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is cost-effective and has the best pricing."
"If you look at the solution's price point, it's actually low market value, especially in comparison to other ones."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a cost-effective solution."
"The product is averagely priced."
"The solution is moderately priced and cannot be considered an expensive or cheap tool."
"The platform is expensive."
"The pricing is favorable, and there are no additional expenses associated with using the product."
"The product’s price is flexible."
"The solution is reasonably priced."
"I find Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud more accessible in terms of pricing."
