Provides telemetry, risk assessment, and behavior monitoring
I like the risk assessment tool built into Bitdefender GravityZone EDR because I'm really into risk assessments and vulnerability testing. I think that is crucial and needed, and I don't see that often with most EDRs. The telemetry I get from the tool can be used in a SOC I use. The solution has behavior monitoring that allows you to monitor people's specific behaviour and practices. You can then ask the person to stop or start doing something. You can also do application management and access management. You can do many things within Bitdefender GravityZone EDR because it is like a one-stop shop scenario.

Easy to setup, stable and good security use cases
I primarily use this solution for security.  I appreciate the good control it offers, which simplifies management. So, I feel confident using this solution. We need a more complete Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. I have been using Kaspersky for eight years. I use the latest version.  I…

"We have clients who are also migrating from other anti-virus solutions to GravityZone because of the ease of use, ease of installation and the fact that it can be deployed in the cloud and the same software; you can actually install on other server or workstation. It automatically knows what it's protecting."

"One of the most valuable features is the signature updating in near real-time."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution's price is mid-ranged."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra is less expensive than other solutions, such as CrowdStrike. We had a really good deal because it was their year-end and they were trying to do a lot of sales that week. We bought a three-year contract from them and the cost was approximately $17 per endpoint, per year. It is was a very good price. I have spoken to other people who have purchased CrowdStrike at approximately $60 per endpoint, per year. I have no complaints about the price of this solution."

"Licensing is done on a yearly basis and it's workstation-based."
"The licensing cost has been manageable for our small team."

"I have very good pricing for the solution, which is one of the reasons why I am not switching to other products. I rate the tool's pricing a two out of ten."
"I would rate the tool's pricing a six out of ten. You need to pay extra costs for additional modules. The product's licensing costs are yearly."
"The solution is comparatively priced."
"The tool is expensive."
"We have been using a yearly subscription and feel that pricing could be better. Perhaps, discounts could be given, during the renewal process, to those who have been customers for some time."
"The price is reasonable. We evaluated some other vendors, but Kaspersky charges less and offers more."
"For 300 nodes, we pay about 15,000 Malaysian Ringgit ($3,500 USD)."
