Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages
We use the application filtering, content filtering, and intrusion prevention system (IPS) features. These features are crucial for our network security. The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages, as it allows us to have one license for all products, which simplifies upgrading and maintenance. Additionally, the ease of deployment is critical for us.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device."
"The features I found most valuable in Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security include anti-malware, spyware detection, firewall, network detection, and user behavior analytics. The solution also gives you a heads-up about operating system misconfiguration."
"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running."
"You will always have a backup copy of any policy the Bitdefender user defines."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"The solution has good features."
"The product’s quality and performance are better than other vendors."
"The valuable features are threat prevention to work like Jira Trust Network Access."
"I like the role-based functions, but the device can now perform most of the tasks. We have open access to CLI. You can access it directly. Many vendors have also opened their CLI to Linux, making troubleshooting easier."
"The most valuable features are application filtering, content filtering, the intrusion prevention system (IPS), and definitely the application firewall."
"The hardware is stable."
"It's basic functionality is probably the most valuable feature."
"The tool's most valuable features are routing features and service quality."

Cons

"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"We had experienced a crash and had to reinstall it."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"I like the Application Control feature, but it's a bit tricky. Managing it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes."
"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big. What I mean is the initial file I download to deploy on end-user devices is about six hundred to seven hundred megabytes, and it should be scaled down to an agent size of maybe less than one hundred megabytes, max."
"The GUI really needs a lot of work, and it has got worse with successive version updates."
"It should also support modern data technologies like zero-day protection and zero-trust network access."
"It is pretty complex to manage and could be easier."
"The tool's basic license does not cover everything. It needs to improve visibility and availability."
"I've talked to people that say Juniper now, as a device, can be a solution for a data center, but in the past, I have not seen this as being possible."
"he stability could be improved."
"Fortinet is more user friendly than Juniper. In terms of remote access, I actually prefer using Fortinet. It's much easier to configure."
"I would suggest improving the pricing, particularly the licensing model."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing costs can vary."
"In terms of the licensing costs associated with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security, the agreement was made nearly three years ago, but from what I recall, the figure was around €6,000 to €7,000 for three years, including support for two hundred endpoints."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"The price is fair."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The solution could have been cheaper."
"The ongoing licensing cost seems to be pretty standard. There are no additional costs."
"The solution is pricey."
"Our experience purchasing the solution through the AWS Marketplace was good."
"We like pricing through the AWS Marketplace."
"It is not that costly."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
