Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages
We use the application filtering, content filtering, and intrusion prevention system (IPS) features. These features are crucial for our network security. The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages, as it allows us to have one license for all products, which simplifies upgrading and maintenance. Additionally, the ease of deployment is critical for us.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"We find the protection the solution provides valuable."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"The domain integrator functionality is particularly noteworthy, allowing me to leverage my existing network infrastructure."
"You will always have a backup copy of any policy the Bitdefender user defines."
"The most valuable features are application filtering, content filtering, the intrusion prevention system (IPS), and definitely the application firewall."
"We like the solution’s protocol and its dashboard system."
"The features we found most valuable are using the IDS and IPS during protection. The application filtering feature is great."
"This solution works well. Their switches and firewall are good."
"Juniper is more flexible with the commit check and the commit confirmed command. The design of the forwarding and contract plan in the operating system is very important for the performance when we have very big traffic."
"There are a few valuable features that offer very good quality on the solution. Especially NetScreen. We used to use NetScreen for the the product line. It was a very mature solution, very robust, easy to configure, easy to manage, etc. It made it easy to do everything."
"The initial setup was very straightforward. There was no problem. The initial deployment took about one hour."
"The technical support has been good."

Cons

"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"Potential areas for improvement could be more accessible and immediate support for critical situations, especially considering the regulatory challenges in healthcare."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"The live monitoring service from Bitdefender's center is expensive and has room for improvement."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"VPN access is an area that needs improvement."
"The pricing still needs some improvement."
"We experienced some technical issues during implementation"
"The GUI interface needs improvement."
"he stability could be improved."
"It should also support modern data technologies like zero-day protection and zero-trust network access."
"It could use more tutorials."
"There are too many types of licenses, which can be confusing."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"The license is yearly."
"The ongoing licensing cost seems to be pretty standard. There are no additional costs."
"We like pricing through the AWS Marketplace."
"The solution is inexpensive."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"After some research, I think that the cost of Juniper is more than Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet."
"The solution is pricey."
"The solution could have been cheaper."
"As a customer, the pricing is good for us."
