Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages
We use the application filtering, content filtering, and intrusion prevention system (IPS) features. These features are crucial for our network security. The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages, as it allows us to have one license for all products, which simplifies upgrading and maintenance. Additionally, the ease of deployment is critical for us.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"The hardware is stable."
"Juniper is more flexible with the commit check and the commit confirmed command. The design of the forwarding and contract plan in the operating system is very important for the performance when we have very big traffic."
"The architecture of the OS in Juniper is very good. It's flexibility, scalability, and the technicality is also good."
"The support is excellent."
"The product’s quality and performance are better than other vendors."
"It is deployed on the customer site, and we manage the firewalls on this side."
"We like the solution’s protocol and its dashboard system."
"This solution works well. Their switches and firewall are good."

Cons

"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"The live monitoring service from Bitdefender's center is expensive and has room for improvement."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"There is room for improvement in CPU utilization."
"It is pretty complex to manage and could be easier."
"Some people complain that the solution tends to have a steep learning curve. It could be because most people have basic familiarity with Cisco or other similar products and maybe have never worked closely with Juniper products."
"The solution could improve its technical support."
"The GUI really needs a lot of work, and it has got worse with successive version updates."
"I've talked to people that say Juniper now, as a device, can be a solution for a data center, but in the past, I have not seen this as being possible."
"The tool's basic license does not cover everything. It needs to improve visibility and availability."
"VPN access is an area that needs improvement."
"There are too many types of licenses, which can be confusing."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing costs can vary."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"In terms of the licensing costs associated with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security, the agreement was made nearly three years ago, but from what I recall, the figure was around €6,000 to €7,000 for three years, including support for two hundred endpoints."
"The price is fair."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The license is yearly."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"It is not that costly."
"We like pricing through the AWS Marketplace."
"The solution could have been cheaper."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"Our experience purchasing the solution through the AWS Marketplace was good."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"The ongoing licensing cost seems to be pretty standard. There are no additional costs."
"The solution is pricey."
