Gained full visibility and streamlined threat detection through behavior-based insights and AI integration
Initially, we got to have a lot of false positives when we onboarded, but nowadays it's quite smooth. We have fine-tuned our security policies and allowed different levels of policies to get rid of those false positives. Currently, we are getting a fairly good amount of incidents that are not false positives or benign, but actionable items. The process is streamlined. In the initial days, the operations used to get involved in a lot of benign and other activities, but now the process is streamlined. We are leveraging the auto-detection and remediation plans. The operations teams are now more involved in other business roles as well, not just looking into the logs and fetching out what's happening there. They have fixed a lot of things. Initially, they didn't have IAC code drift detection, cloud posture management, or security posture management, but they have those now. They purchased different vendors and did a merger with that. They have now Prisma Cloud that gets integrated and now they are working with Cortex Cloud. Everything that was negative has now been addressed, and the product altogether looks to be in a very better and mature shape now. Currently, it's more or less detecting the workloads with AI-based best practices. Since most organizations are consuming AI agents and other things, we are looking forward to seeing what other feature enhancements Palo Alto can support in that.

Effective real-time threat detection and reduced network congestion improves security posture
We are not currently using the automated patching or patch management. The security analytics feature, which could help us stay compliant with industry standards, hasn't been enabled yet. Currently running on-premise, we are considering moving to the cloud-based Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security because it offers more features compared to the on-premises version. We've experienced multiple failures during appliance upgrades, sometimes requiring us to resort to backup. Mobile and cloud features are currently missing in Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security. Operating from the primary site, we face challenges with the on-premises version when working from the DR site, which is why we want to move to the cloud for continuous protection during site failovers.

"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"The risk analytics capability is excellent because the central console is very good."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"There are many features available in this solution, such as asset management."
"The most valuable features are the file activity monitors, DLP solutions, and application controls."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security is a good solution."
"The convenience has been great."
"We found the DLP to be innovative and useful."
"The only thing that I have found useful is that I have an overview of my systems in the networks."
"The solution effectively detects malicious files and blocks sign-ins."
"The most valuable feature is its endpoint protection, particularly the antivirus component. It has been very effective in protecting our clients, and since its installation, we haven't encountered any issues with compromised endpoints or virus impacts."

Cons

"In reporting they should have a customizable dashboard due to the fact that C-level people don't like reporting to the IT department. They prefer to have a real-time dashboard. That kind of dashboard needs to have various customizations."
"The GUI could be improved. It's a little bit cumbersome. It could be more user-friendly."
"A little bit more automation would be nice."
"Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks is a very good product, but financially, it is very expensive, so the company should look into that area."
"In general, the price could be more competitive."
"Currently, we are monitoring all USB drives and ports but we would like to improve our device control capabilities."
"We had a problem with getting our older endpoints up to date, but their newest updates have been really good."
"Data privacy is a matter of concern. You have to be careful with data privacy, it can be sensitive and Cortex can have most of your access."
"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"My advice to others is not to implement this solution. There are better solutions in the market."
"Sometimes the response from Technical Support takes more time than usual because level three support is not in Brazil."
"The phishing feature report showed zero results, and the patch management component is one of the two main issues that need improvement."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security could improve the RDP, I have problems sometimes."
"The initial setup should be made easier."
"Sometimes the response takes more time than usual because level three support does not exist in Brazil."
"User management could be improved."
"We would like the solution to have integration with other security solutions so that we can have a single base for monitoring all the security incidents and concerns."
"The pricing could be a bit lower."
"We are using Apple devices, and the advanced device control service doesn't work for M1 chips devices, like Apple MacBooks."
"Deployment of Seqrite Endpoint Security is generally straightforward. The only complexity we encounter is that, since it is cloud-based, there can be delays in updating the endpoint's status."
"The solution could improve by providing better security and a cloud base version."
"The stability is zero, Seqrite doesn't work, and the company doesn't accept the problems."
"When we fire any employee connected remotely over the internet, we need a security feature that blocks the system and the device."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This is an expensive solution."
"The tool's price is moderate."
"The price is on the higher side, but it's okay."
"The price of the solution could be reduced. I have customers that have voiced that the solution is good for the value but if I want to sell more of the solution the price reduction would help."
"Very costly product."
"It has a higher cost than other solutions, like CrowdStrike or Microsoft’s EDR tools, but it reduces the cost of our operations because it’s a new generation antivirus tool."
"It is present, but when compared to other competitive products, I would say it is not less expensive; however, when all of the other added values are considered, the price is reasonable."
"The price was fine."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"The price is fair."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"In terms of the licensing costs associated with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security, the agreement was made nearly three years ago, but from what I recall, the figure was around €6,000 to €7,000 for three years, including support for two hundred endpoints."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"We get the tool for around 1200 rupees for a three-year subscription. I rate its pricing a nine out of ten."
"I give the cost of the solution a seven out of ten."
"It is a cheaply priced product."
"As per the suggestions from one of the experts we know, it is advisable to make a proper comparison with the local vendors instead of solely relying on online prices, which are often higher and quite expensive."
"The solution has reasonable pricing. There is one pricing without any hidden charges. They have to pay once a year or three years."
"Though I don't think that this is a cheaply priced product, I feel that it is an affordable solution."
"The solution's pricing is good for us, where it is neither cheap nor expensive."
"The pricing is reasonable."
