Gained full visibility and streamlined threat detection through behavior-based insights and AI integration
Initially, we got to have a lot of false positives when we onboarded, but nowadays it's quite smooth. We have fine-tuned our security policies and allowed different levels of policies to get rid of those false positives. Currently, we are getting a fairly good amount of incidents that are not false positives or benign, but actionable items. The process is streamlined. In the initial days, the operations used to get involved in a lot of benign and other activities, but now the process is streamlined. We are leveraging the auto-detection and remediation plans. The operations teams are now more involved in other business roles as well, not just looking into the logs and fetching out what's happening there. They have fixed a lot of things. Initially, they didn't have IAC code drift detection, cloud posture management, or security posture management, but they have those now. They purchased different vendors and did a merger with that. They have now Prisma Cloud that gets integrated and now they are working with Cortex Cloud. Everything that was negative has now been addressed, and the product altogether looks to be in a very better and mature shape now. Currently, it's more or less detecting the workloads with AI-based best practices. Since most organizations are consuming AI agents and other things, we are looking forward to seeing what other feature enhancements Palo Alto can support in that.

Delivers lightweight protection while facing challenges with technical aspects
I have been working with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security for quite a long time, but recently, I do not appreciate their changes, especially on the technical side. They moved some portions to remote GUI-based interfaces. The Command Line Interface (CLI) is not improving. Even experienced personnel are finding it difficult. There is a power user function where you can stop it temporarily for installing applications. Previously, we had the option to click on the power user button and enter the password to allow stopping that particular function. Now, we have to do it via CLI, which even technical personnel struggle to understand. Currently, everything is working fine except for the technical aspects we can control. If they can revert to the old system, that would be much better. When we raise this issue with Bitdefender, they cite security reasons for the change. However, while Cisco is moving away from CLI to GUI, Bitdefender is moving backward. Normal users cannot handle these CLI operations effectively.

"Its interface and pricing are most valuable, and it is better than other vendors in terms of security."
"After deploying Traps, we saw the performance of the network improve by 65 to 70 percent."
"The stability of the solution is very good, we have about 100 users on it right now, and we use it twice a week."
"The solution's stability is generally good."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"The risk analytics capability is excellent because the central console is very good."
"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"My advice to others looking into implementing Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is that it's a cost-effective system and it's quite reliable."
"I don't have any problems with the stability of the solution and really like it."
"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"The product is a good standard security tool."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security is a good solution."
"In case it works, we are looking to use features like USB blocking, file upload alerts, and other antivirus features as well, but this software has to work first."
"The only thing that I have found useful is that I have an overview of my systems in the networks."
"The most valuable features of the solution are DLP, XDR, and EDR functionalities."
"The most valuable features are the file activity monitors, DLP solutions, and application controls."
"The only thing that I have found useful is that I have an overview of my systems in the networks."

Cons

"There are some third-party solutions that are difficult to integrate with, which is something that can be improved."
"As an improvement, I would like to see enhanced connection speeds."
"The GUI could be improved."
"Initially, we got to have a lot of false positives when we onboarded, but nowadays it's quite smooth."
"Previously, the endpoint would leave the environment, not being on our VPN, essentially unable to interact with the server to upload files."
"The solution should force customers to integrate with network traffic to see the full benefits of XDR."
"It is an enterprise-level solution. Its price could be less expensive."
"It tends to do 99.9% of things. The only thing I'd like is single sign-on authentication into their cloud platform so that my users can be properly authenticated against it."
"The price has increased marginally recently and I would prefer if they didn't raise rates."
"To be honest, this makes me miss Panda."
"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"Sometimes the response takes more time than usual because level three support does not exist in Brazil."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"There is room for improvement in CPU utilization."
"My advice to others is not to implement this solution. There are better solutions in the market."
"User management could be improved."
"The support offered by the tool is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The solution could improve by providing better security and a cloud base version."
"The stability is zero, Seqrite doesn't work, and the company doesn't accept the problems."
"The cost of the solution can be improved."
"Endpoint Security would be improved by adding DLP."
"We would like the solution to have integration with other security solutions so that we can have a single base for monitoring all the security incidents and concerns."
"When we fire any employee connected remotely over the internet, we need a security feature that blocks the system and the device."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is cost-effective compared to similar solutions. It fits for the small businesses through to the big businesses."
"The pricing is a little bit on the expensive side."
"It's way too expensive, but security is expensive. You pay for your licensing, and then you pay for someone to monitor the stuff."
"Every customer has to pay for a license because it doesn't work with what you get from a managed services provider."
"Cortex XDR’s pricing is very reasonable."
"Very costly product."
"The pricing seems fair, and I do like the licensing model. You use wherever they are, and it is elastic."
"In terms of the cost Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks is very expensive because we are a Mexican company and when you translate dollars to pesos the cost is very high. The solution is very expensive for Mexican companies. I understand that they have international prices, but I do not think it offsets the price enough for many companies in countries, such as Mexico. The amount it is reduced is not a massive percentage."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"We get the tool for around 1200 rupees for a three-year subscription. I rate its pricing a nine out of ten."
"The license isn't expensive."
"The solution's pricing is good for us, where it is neither cheap nor expensive."
"The licensing fee is 200 Bangladeshi Taka per client per year."
"Licensing fees are on a yearly basis. Compared to other solutions, this solution is cheaper."
"We pay approximately $1,500 for licenses for the solution."
"It is a cheaply priced product."
"Though I don't think that this is a cheaply priced product, I feel that it is an affordable solution."
