Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Achieving nearly complete protection with reliable configuration management and effective technical support
The most valuable features of GravityZone Business Security are its anti-malware and anti-virus capabilities. The firewall policies are considered very powerful, and it prevents many malicious issues. The solution has its own definitions for viruses or malware, providing timely detection updates. Additionally, their technical support is very effective, with knowledgeable engineers handling cases efficiently.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We find the protection the solution provides valuable."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"In terms of threat detection, I would give it a ten out of ten since Bitdefender manages to catch threats that other products miss."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"The solution is very scalable."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The monitoring dashboards are absolutely amazing, providing a lot of fine details about all activities."
"It is helpful for protecting our desktops and servers from malware and other threats."
"GravityZone is very light on PCs and offers excellent threat detection capabilities, notably through its anti-malware and anti-virus features."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Elite is efficient and lightweight. We have to do security audits every year and we saw how secure Bitdefender GravityZone Elite was, even the plan testers had difficulties taking control of a computer when it was protected. The solution was always rejecting the attacks of the test hackers, it has very good protection."
"The monitoring dashboards are absolutely amazing, providing a lot of fine details about all activities."
"The solution is the cheapest in the market."
"Overall, I rate GravityZone ten out of ten for its functionality and support."

Cons

"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"The initial setup should be made easier."
"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"The live monitoring service from Bitdefender's center is expensive and has room for improvement."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"The solution's stability could be better."
"While GravityZone is comprehensive, it can sometimes prevent the execution of local-made programs, resulting in false alarms."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Elite could improve by having a patch management function to become part of the solution. For now, it's a separate module subscription. For example, in my company, all the endpoints are sending the information about network attacks and detected malware, to the GravityZone console, and from the console, you can send all these alerts, to another solution, such as Syslog. This is a very important point for us because, this architecture, is similar to having hundreds of threat sensors in the company. The endpoint is a threat sensor and this is very important. From a security perspective, I'm not expecting anything more. However, I'm expecting patch management to become part of GravityZone, and not a separate subscription. This would be a large benefit to us."
"Upgrades are heavy and require back up, making you feel like you're doing a fresh installation of this solution. Configuration can also be quite tedious if you want it to be configured based on your needs."
"If an enterprise already has existing security features or products, GravityZone Business Security could integrate with them. This will make it a cost-effective solution without replacing their current setup."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Elite could improve the ease of use and add more features. Other solutions have more features such as Kaspersky Antivirus. For example, I could not remote connect with Microsoft Windows with Kaspersky Antivirus and the reports were better. Additionally, I have had difficulty ending tasks with solutions."
"Technical support could always be improved."
"From an administration perspective, the tool lacks functionalities related to RMM and MDM. The tool should offer add-ons, like RMM and MDM."
"When you have to change some of the settings, the initial setup can become complicated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"In terms of the licensing costs associated with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security, the agreement was made nearly three years ago, but from what I recall, the figure was around €6,000 to €7,000 for three years, including support for two hundred endpoints."
"The license is yearly."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The price of Bitdefender GravityZone Elite is very good. We are on a three-year license, and the third year was free."
"We pay approximately $80,000 for a three-year subscription."
"Its subscription is yearly."
"There is a license needed to use this solution and it can be purchased for one, two, or three years."
"We pay approximately $1 per device per month for Bitdefender GravityZone Elite. There is no additional cost for the solution."
"The solution's pricing depends on the features selected but it is the most inexpensive option in the market."
"The pricing is within the market price range compared to other solutions. It's quite affordable."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Elite is an affordable solution."
