Offers unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email
My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem. Recent versions shouldn't be a problem with at least 16GB of RAM. Bitdefender should have its own app security built in. After integrating SIEM solutions and log collecting, they could have app security built on top of that. For each application, especially when dealing with financial data, if there was an option for data breach control, that would be fantastic. Because nowadays, people are using the internet from home, and we don't know what network they're connecting to. For situations where the network security is questionable, having a security control built into the antivirus would be essential. It's a common requirement nowadays.

Quotes from Members

"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"It is perfectly stable. We haven't received any complaints from customers regarding stability or performance. It's been smooth sailing so far."
"I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs."
"We find the protection the solution provides valuable."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"The solution is very scalable."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is the ease of deployment."
"The most important feature is behaviour detection."
"We use the solution for endpoint protection, malware detection, and detecting unsafe web access."
"Trend Micro effectively detects and blocks NAS devices and identifies potential threats."
"The load balancer feature is excellent."
"The solution's ability to operate without placing a heavy burden on our system resources is particularly commendable."

"The multi-tenancy feature is beneficial for managing different customers, allowing for efficient handling across various tenants."

Cons

"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The initial setup should be made easier."
"They've got all this training that's available, but it involves stuff that doesn't really encompass the solution as a whole."
"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security could improve the RDP, I have problems sometimes."

"The licensing aspect seems costly, and the license cost increases yearly, which is a concern for us."
"The solution’s scalability is limited."
"The solution's documentation is not good, and I'm struggling to change global configurations."
"Network vulnerability scanning could be improved."
"Trend Micro should improve its Worry-Free Services Suites, particularly the agent for Windows operating systems."
"The EDR part of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"The log management feature needs to be improved, specifically, the ability to send logs from the console via API."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The license is yearly."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"The product is available at a very good price point."
"We pay a yearly licensing fee for the solution, which is too expensive."
