Video library is a great tool and it enables good customization; feels a little antiquated and rusty
I like that recordings are available immediately, it's a great feature. I also appreciate being able to use the video library as a tool, and the integration of an API with other systems we have. We were able to build our own customer portal and then integrate into GoToWebinar with a seamless interface. People thought they were on our platform, but they were using GoToWebinar. Those are unique features that seemed to be very easy for our development team to integrate. I like that aspect of it. It also provides good visibility if somebody had seen a webinar that was useful. It's very easy to push them out. Registration is an easy process as is customization on the back end. We very rarely had technical issues running the webinars so it's a pretty robust platform overall.

Collaborating in hybrid incident calls has become faster while the meeting interface still needs fixes
The best features are the ability to schedule meetings and launch ad hoc meetings. Additionally, we can create breakout rooms within the meeting itself, which is another excellent feature. Whenever we have production issues, many teams join a single Webex call. Sometimes we need to group together as separate smaller groups and work in parallel to identify the production issues. In those cases, we create Webex breakout rooms and each member joins the corresponding breakout session to progress on their task. Webex helps significantly in the hybrid environment. When we are working from home, it is very easy for us to meet with other team members and the management to get in touch and progress. Webex improves communication because even if we are working from home, we can connect with people and talk to them on a video call. It has improved the incident resolution time by getting into a call in Webex rooms and remediating the issues together as soon as possible. Audio and video quality is excellent for Webex. It has saved considerable time in terms of incident remediation. Whenever we have issues, we jump on a call and work together in parallel. This approach saves time and improves efficiency.

Pros

"GoToWebinar polls help me quickly gauge, upfront, the audience’s interest in topics and their current level of knowledge."
"All of their features are good. They are more or less equivalent to the competition. There's less disturbance, less jitter, the voice is always good even at a low bandwidth."
"I can extract the activity and the attendance reports, along with every single question that was asked during the webinar, which is a feature that we highly value."
"This solution is very reliable. It is easy to switch between audio and microphone when using headphones."
"WebEx Integration to Outlook helps our users to schedule audio conference meetings with a push of a button."
"The GUI is nice and easy to operate."
"The solution is user-friendly."
"The solution is perfectly stable, it normally performs very well."
"We use Webex for virtual meetings."
"The product is quite secure. Other products, such as Zoom, have had security issues raised in the media."
"It is a valuable solution for virtual meetings."
"Webex offers a wide range of useful features and is pretty robust."

Cons

"In comparison, I don't feel that GoToWebinar has the range of customization and it feels quite antiquated in comparison to Teams."
"GoToWebinar would be improved with the inclusion of support for video endpoints."
"Some of my friends also use GoToWebinar to collect clients for affiliate marketing. In those cases, they found some features were missing with respect to some of the competition. And the worst part is the price."
"The platform feels old and a little rusty, more could be invested into the look and feel of it."
"The sharing of cameras is limited to meeting organizers."
"It's a little pricier than the others."
"The chat window and using polls is easier in Zoom than compared to GoToWebinar. Make it simpler and easier to publish polls on the fly would improve the solution."
"The chat window and using polls is easier in Zoom compared to GoToWebinar. Making it simpler and easier to publish polls on the fly would improve the solution."
"The solution could improve by having better integration with other platforms."
"It would be better if it were more secure. I do expect Webex to keep up with hackers and their latest techniques."
"Zoom entered into the commercial space for end-users. It's more of a solution for single users for training classes or music centers and all that. Cisco is not in that space."
"The solution could improve by having cross-platform compatibility. For example, if you wanted to have a call with someone with Microsoft Teams you could do it with Webex. Not everyone wants to use the same virtual meeting application."
"To make Webex more competitive, I would suggest lowering the price and providing some of the same features that are in Teams or Zoom."
"I would like to see more integration, with respect to some more unified communication activities."
"An opportunity they could benefit from would be a version that includes meeting transcription. I usually use a third-party product to do transcription."
"We switched from Webex to Teams because there was a lag in the WebEx experience and also a lack of integration."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This is a free solution."
"It is a monthly subscription and the price is quite expensive if you're not paying annually."
"Features matter more than the price for us. As long as we get all the features we want and it fits our budget, then the price doesn't matter. I can't speak for other companies. We have tried other applications, and we run into some problems that we don't see in Webex."
"Webex is expensive, especially compared to Zoom or Google."
"Price is the one area where Webex needs to improve relative to its competitors. It's difficult to sell to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) because of the license price."
"The price of the license depends a lot on the type of service required and whether it is for the entire company or only for a few users."
"The price should be improved significantly."
"There are licenses for business to use the solution but for end-users, there is not."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"The price of the license for the solution could be less expensive."
