Video library is a great tool and it enables good customization; feels a little antiquated and rusty
I like that recordings are available immediately, it's a great feature. I also appreciate being able to use the video library as a tool, and the integration of an API with other systems we have. We were able to build our own customer portal and then integrate into GoToWebinar with a seamless interface. People thought they were on our platform, but they were using GoToWebinar. Those are unique features that seemed to be very easy for our development team to integrate. I like that aspect of it. It also provides good visibility if somebody had seen a webinar that was useful. It's very easy to push them out. Registration is an easy process as is customization on the back end. We very rarely had technical issues running the webinars so it's a pretty robust platform overall.

Used to conduct online third-party client meetings or third-party vendor meetings
The solution's video conferencing quality is good, and I rate it a nine out of ten. The solution's security features are end-to-end encrypted, and I rate them ten out of ten. The version we're using requires no technical team for deployment and maintenance. The solution has an enterprise version, but we're not currently using it. I would recommend the solution to other users because it has good video conference quality. I mostly leverage the solution for third-party client meetings or third-party vendor meetings. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We were able to build our own customer portal and integrate into GoToWebinar with a seamless interface."
"The interface is browser-based and simple, which is an advantage over other solutions."
"All of their features are good. They are more or less equivalent to the competition. There's less disturbance, less jitter, the voice is always good even at a low bandwidth."
"I can extract the activity and the attendance reports, along with every single question that was asked during the webinar, which is a feature that we highly value."
"This solution is very reliable. It is easy to switch between audio and microphone when using headphones."
"Webex offers a wide range of useful features."
"We use Webex for virtual meetings."
"The important feature is breakout sessions. We can create a breakout session if you want to hold a conference and make a room only for some people at the meeting."
"The solution is user-friendly."
"The GUI is nice and easy to operate."
"Webex has frequent updates and it is very good."
"I like how Webex lets you zoom in and out on the presenter's screen. It's silly, but all the solutions have the same features, and I think WebEx is the only one that allows zoom."
"Webex has one-click calling, which makes things easier. You click, and it automatically dials in to the meetings without pressing additional buttons. It's easy for people who aren't on WebEx. That was helpful."

Cons

"The sharing of cameras is limited to meeting organizers."
"Some of my friends also use GoToWebinar to collect clients for affiliate marketing. In those cases, they found some features were missing with respect to some of the competition. And the worst part is the price."
"The chat window and using polls is easier in Zoom than compared to GoToWebinar. Make it simpler and easier to publish polls on the fly would improve the solution."
"The platform feels old and a little rusty, more could be invested into the look and feel of it."
"GoToWebinar would be improved with the inclusion of support for video endpoints."
"I think it's very inconvenient to have to enter my email address all the time just to be a visitor."
"Webex could improve the performance."
"I'd like to see a modernized user interface, something a bit more colorful."
"Webex's Bluetooth functionality could be better. For example, I use Webex on my Android mobile phone and connect with Bluetooth. It connects, but I cannot speak through the Bluetooth microphone and earphones with Webex. It's always disabled. I don't know why."
"I would like to see the addition of new features that will add value to the product."
"Zoom entered into the commercial space for end-users. It's more of a solution for single users for training classes or music centers and all that. Cisco is not in that space."
"My company does a lot of international calls. For some countries they do not have their local number to call in, all they have is a 1-800 number which is quite hard to find. If they want to improve they should set up the local number to call in. What would be beneficial."
"The collaborative features could improve in Webex. There should not be the typical one on one connection that we have had in the past."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This is a free solution."
"It is a monthly subscription and the price is quite expensive if you're not paying annually."
"The pricing of this solution is fine and I am satisfied with it."
"Webex is very expensive."
"We paid for our Webex license as a bundle."
"The price should be improved significantly."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"You can opt for yearly licensing with Webex."
"I believe the license to be monthly."
"I am using the free version of Webex."
